Who: EVERYONE who wants to participate!
Where: Violet City
When: Dec 1st, 3rd, 4th. Basically, four days of parties and cake because why skip the 2nd!
Summary: It's too many peoples birthdays at once. Jake and Jade on the first, Dave on the third, Rose and Roxy on the fourth. THERE WILL BE CAKE. THERE WILL BE HATS. THERE WILL BE GIFTS! There will also be screaming because the music in Violet City sucks.

It's only when the last of the decorations is being placed, the last cake that one of Jake's friends made is brought out, and the last few meal trays are set in the dining section, that Cheria rolls down her sleeves and wipes her forehead. It was a little tough getting it all together for more than just one person, but overall, it paid off! The building she rented is big enough, and since it was for four days instead of the one, the renters gave her a discount and full use of the kitchen; just so long as nothing is broken, or at least gets replaced.

There were signs in each corner over tables as to where people can put gifts for each individual, but that really is all there is for separating guests. There's a table out by the back doors with Pokemon food, and a safe, fenced in area for smaller ones to play in; as well as board games, decks of cards, and various other games and toys scattered about the place. Really, the actual toys are more for Pokemon that won't leave their trainers. Twister is set up near the drinks, and there's a small dance floor, and while there isn't much for music or anyone to flip cds, Cheria will take that task on unless someone thinks of something better.

It is so time to open the doors.

[ Karkat is kind of being a wall flower. there are a lot of people. more than he's really comfortable with. hermit crab Karkat is still a bit of a hermit crab.

but at least there are plenty of sweets to tide him over, right? cake. chocolates. yeah, Karkat's being a little bit of a pig off on his own. ]

Oh! I was talking to Jane and Jake about wriggling days, and we weren't sure how to translate our calendar into theirs - unless you figured that out? - and then I wasn't sure if we were meant to celebrate by human years or by sweep counts, and Jane said if we do it by sweeps it wouldn't be fair not to have yearly parties so we could have halfbirthdays if we did that!

[ She really likes these parties, okay. They've surpassed any wriggling day experiences she ever had. ]

[ Karkat shrugs a bit. years are different than sweeps. technically he had celebrated his seventh sweep, so this last year isn't really an issue... but the next year... ]

I celebrated mine in September. Since my Wriggling Day falls on an equinox... I had only two months to choose from. September or March.

Didn't really have a party for it, though...

[ She'd probably insist on a party for anyone she knew even tangentially, okay. And will be one of those trainers who celebrates every single pokemon's hatching day. It's fun! What's the point of being alive if you're not going to make the most of things? ]

Got it!! I have to remember to get him something, since he helped me out. [ Although the entirety of what she knows of him is "Karkat's nice human boyfriend" so this is going to require further research. ]

We were talking about birthday presents and budgets, and somehow that happened! ...I'm still not sure how, actually. [ She hadn't asked for anything other than present ideas, anyway. ] He seems really nice, though! He had a lot of good suggestions.

It's because originally Vanitas came to be after Ventus' heart was shattered. Vanitas is the darkness that once resided there. So yeah, he's kind of human, since Ventus is. But he's also sort of not.
