When: Dec 1st, 3rd, 4th. Basically, four days of parties and cake because why skip the 2nd!
Summary: It's too many peoples birthdays at once. Jake and Jade on the first, Dave on the third, Rose and Roxy on the fourth. THERE WILL BE CAKE. THERE WILL BE HATS. THERE WILL BE GIFTS! There will also be screaming because the music in Violet City sucks.

It's only when the last of the decorations is being placed, the last cake that one of Jake's friends made is brought out, and the last few meal trays are set in the dining section, that Cheria rolls down her sleeves and wipes her forehead. It was a little tough getting it all together for more than just one person, but overall, it paid off! The building she rented is big enough, and since it was for four days instead of the one, the renters gave her a discount and full use of the kitchen; just so long as nothing is broken, or at least gets replaced.

There were signs in each corner over tables as to where people can put gifts for each individual, but that really is all there is for separating guests. There's a table out by the back doors with Pokemon food, and a safe, fenced in area for smaller ones to play in; as well as board games, decks of cards, and various other games and toys scattered about the place. Really, the actual toys are more for Pokemon that won't leave their trainers. Twister is set up near the drinks, and there's a small dance floor, and while there isn't much for music or anyone to flip cds, Cheria will take that task on unless someone thinks of something better.

It is so time to open the doors.

[Now that she has a free moment between all the party goers and no one being out of punch or without a plate of food, Cheria is trying to find a good place to place Jake's gift where it won't roll off the table and crack.]

Maybe I should have looked for egg holders too, who knows how many people will want to give him a Pokemon to raise..

[At least Jane had enough money to buy some paper and markers and terribly draw one of those blue ladies that he loves so much on this card. Setting it with a flashlight that didn't need wrapping and a pack of batteries, Jane goes to fetch his cake. It's the one she personally made, and well, she really worked hard on this one.

It might only be in the shape of twin lovely golden pistols, but the details are very intricate, despite just being frosting. It looks downright like a real pair of guns, in her opinion! By golly, she's still got the best frosting technique in the west!]

[ Thanks to a sizable generous donation from Vanitas, Aradia actually had money to buy things! And furthermore hopes her gifts will actually be helpful. Inside her giftbag will be: a green canvas vest with a multitude of pockets (pockets are important for adventuring!), a pair of binoculars, and a green egg sling.

He is mercifully and miraculously spared from pun shirts for now. For now. ]

Anyway, he has a lovely pair of knitted gloves - fingerless, with an optional mitten top, because adventure - and a warm looking scarf. All of these are in a rich, deep emerald. The note on it just says "~Rose".]]

[Why was she here around these people she have no idea who they were? She did wanted to come give Jake something as he was one of the few people she's met here but it just felt so awkward being in a sea of strangers. Oh well, this was for Jake so she'll have to deal.]

[There was a pokeball in the palms of her hands. She wasn't sure whether to leave it at the table like everyone else or if she should give it up front. She doesn't want to seem confrontational but she also doesn't want anything happening to the pokeball and the pokeman inside it.]

[Because Other Father had his turntables at the house, and he took them with him, he was able to make Jake a gift. It's not much in the way of material. Rose's recorder app for pokegear let him record it so it could be transferred over. Jake's pokegear will get a little notice of a file sending.

The mix he made for him starts off like explore but quickly rises into an energetic and rambunctious tune that could only be someone adventuring. A few bass drops sound somewhat like a rifle going off. At the table he leaves a folded up letter.]

Jake may have been saved from a poképun shirt from Aradia, but he can at least get a non-pun long-sleeved Emolga shirt + a new green coat because it's winter + a green ADVENTURER HAT. ]

[Jade knows how much Jake loves exploring and adventure, so she decided to get him a suitably adventure-y gift! She decided to get him an "explorer's kit", full of all sorts of things one might need while traversing around caves/mountains/ruins.]

[Jake's gift to Jade is perhaps a small thing, but he put a lot of effort into making it. It's a carving of a dog that looks similar to Bec. At least, as similar as he could get it without a good reference. It's painted white, but the details are in Jade's favored text color. There's a tag tied to a string that loops around the dog's neck to tell her from whom she got the carving from.]

It's just a "two free dinners and desserts" at Lavos; the place is a little fancy and has a lounge and a dance floor, but the envelope also comes with a copy of the menu.

[At every party, Dave is on the tables working his magic to bring you the hottest beats. For Jake and Jade's party he revolves it around exploration and adventuring sort of sounds and tunes. He doesn't drop the bass and dub-step it too much. For his own though? Yeah, no. It's all sick fires and wicked bass. He'd blow the place down with it if he got froggy.

You're so lucky he's not going to free style rap it or have anyone to rap off with. When it's Rose's birthday he mixes his own sort of tunes with violins. It's still crazy sounds but geared towards a unity of his own style with his sister's preferences. But he totally includes cats in there for Roxy.]

[ Aradia can be found at all the parties, because parties. You can find her eating cake or playing pretty much any pokemon-themed game that comes her way, although she may need some of the rules explained. Human games are weird! She'll gravitate to card games and the like, but also anything colourful and interesting looking. Dancing? She would be more than happy to dance!

You can also find her obsessing over her Shellos egg (now in a red egg sling! So fancy) on day 1 party 1, but not after, since Shellos will hatch by the end of the day! After day 1 she will be obsessing over baby Shellos. He gets to be in the egg sling until further notice baby pokemon she hatched all on her own.

She'll look pretty dang cheerful each and every day, and will probably indulge anyone and everyone in any party shenanigans they might want to recruit her for. ]

[At ALL THE PARTIES herself here! While eating cake needs a break and she's working on the punch by the third day, she has to ask just what that new Pokemon is that Aradia is carting around! It looks really neat, slime and all!

Since it seemed that she was more occupied with watching her newly hatched Shellos, Jane is going to bring a fresh cup of punch for Aradia too while stopping at her table.]

No, really, who wants some? Rose has made, for each party, an extremely large variety of sweets to partake in. Both for trainers and for Pokemon.

Yeah, she's pretty lame and tame for these parties. But hey, don't judge.

She can mostly be found hanging out by said sweets, usually offering some of the Poketreats to Pokemon.

For her and Roxy's party, she's sporting a pair of shades and a hat.

[Since Vanitas is going to be curious about all those chocolates he's been seeing his Zorua snacking on, the trail of "following the greedy fox" is what brings him to the table near Rose. The shades prompt a raised eyebrow though, quirking his head while trying to keep his Pokemon from ganking more chocolates than his little gut can take.]

[ Karkat is kind of being a wall flower. there are a lot of people. more than he's really comfortable with. hermit crab Karkat is still a bit of a hermit crab.

but at least there are plenty of sweets to tide him over, right? cake. chocolates. yeah, Karkat's being a little bit of a pig off on his own. ]

[ Aradia is the opposite of a wall flower, and she has probably at least briefly greeted Karkat before, but she'll go over on the third day with an actual legitimate question.

[Jade is at every party, doing pretty much all the things! Trying all the food, playing all the games... you name it and chances are good that she is there at some point in time each day. She's not so busy that she can't stop and chat with people, though! After all, socializing is a big part of what makes parties so fun.]
