Open to all~! Mio shows Mayu around and introduces her to her friends
Sometimes Mio could pretend it had all been some terrible dream.]
Everyone's very nice. [She told Mayu this, talking with her as she led her up to the house] Well--Albert's pretty mean and rude, but he's just like that. I'm not sure he knows what happiness is.
[She giggled a little.
It was easy to pretend it had never happened, to repress the memories and pretend things were okay with it. Her desperation to have everything be normal helped her to bypass all the obvious clues that thing were Wrong. She didn't want to believe them, so she ignored them. Simple as that]
I'm sure everyone else will be nice though!

[HI THERE, GIRLS. It's just a taste of what's to come, really, cause there are probably puppies anywhere you look. Most of them in the yard, but still. So many puppies. Twenty-four of them.]
[Coop looks largely untroubled by this, though, and gives Mio a quick smile in greeting - Mayu gets something a little more searching, but not unfriendly.]
Mio! Come on in. I take it this is your sister?
no subject
But she soon returns Cooper's smile, taking her sister's hand] Hello Mr. Cooper! Yes, this is Mayu. [She looked to her sister, gesturing to Cooper]
Mayu, this is Mr. Cooper. He's one of the men that lives here. He's very friendly. [And not too unlike the puppies he's carrying, at least in Mio's eyes.]
We're going Cooper, Mio, Mayu, right
[Don't mind her watching in amazement before realizing there was someone new in their presence.] Um, h-hello Mr. C-Cooper. It's nice to meet you...

[As they approached the house, familiar feelings of timidness and worry entered her mind; meeting totally new people was totally not her area. She also seemed to have a dejected look on her face but for what reason?]
...Do you think they'll like me? [It was the only sentence that came out of her mouth. This girl was still not really thinking straight even after 2 weeks of being here.]
no subject
They're all friendly, I promise. [A smile] Besides, what's not to like? You're cute and nice--and a lot more polite than me! I'm sure they'll like you.

Finally, concern wins out] Are you okay, Mayu? We don't have to do this if you don't want to! I... just thought it'd be nice. But it can wait, or...?
no subject
Mio, its fine. [She tried to sound reassuring.] I'm just nervous, that's all. I'm ok with being shown around, really.
no subject
[She reaches for her twin, to pull her into a hug] I'm so happy to have you back.

Should we do Mio, Reid, Mayu?
How are you liking the house so far? Everyone's been friendly, right? [Beat.] Everyone except Albert?
Sounds alright!
This place was...alright. Everyone's nice and all.. [Such a generic answer.]
works for me~
There were so many puppies! They were really cute, right, Mayu? [She smiles at her sister, then looks away to hide her mild unease. She tells herself she's being silly, because Mayu seems to be doing a lot better now than earlier, but she can't help but worry.
Her attention turns to Reid] But it was nice. Have you just been sitting here reading since we left?
no subject
[He nods at the textbook.] Yeah, just some light reading. Do you want to sit down? I know that there tend to be a lot of people here, so it can be overwhelming sometimes. [He moves the book to reveal a Poochyena puppy napping his lap.] Speaking of puppies, I think I was picked by one.
no subject
What kind of puppy is that? [She's seen one of those with Cooper when Mio was showing her around but they weren't like the swarm of puppies from earlier.]
no subject
A Poochyena, right? [She wants to say more, but she wants to give Reid a chance to shine and hopefully endear himself somehow to Mayu.]
Can you tell us more about them, Spencer? [No accompanying 'niisan.']
no subject
They're Dark-types. I think I'm naming this one Derek. [He puts his book aside and picks up the little puppy in his hand, offering him to the girls to pet.] They closely resemble wolves or hyenas from our world, and are generally known to be very aggressive. They like to exhaust prey by chasing it over long distances.
This one is very friendly, though. The worst thing I've seen him do so far is chew on a squeaky toy I found. Speaking of, if you find a dog toy that doesn't squeak, I'd appreciate one. It'd probably be best for all of us.
