What kind of puppy is that? [She's seen one of those with Cooper when Mio was showing her around but they weren't like the swarm of puppies from earlier.]

They're Dark-types. I think I'm naming this one Derek. [He puts his book aside and picks up the little puppy in his hand, offering him to the girls to pet.] They closely resemble wolves or hyenas from our world, and are generally known to be very aggressive. They like to exhaust prey by chasing it over long distances.
This one is very friendly, though. The worst thing I've seen him do so far is chew on a squeaky toy I found. Speaking of, if you find a dog toy that doesn't squeak, I'd appreciate one. It'd probably be best for all of us.
