Who: Any of Sollux's friends who saw the invitation.
Where: Private room at a local restaurant.
When: 2/22, early evening.
What: Birthday party/dinner thing, because Aradia was serious about it.
Rating: PG or PG13, SOME OF THE GUESTS HAVE LANGUAGE WARNINGS (Sollux and Karkat).

[ It's a party slash dinner thing! The room is decorated with red and blue streamers and such, and there are party hats for anyone who wants them (if you don't want them, you can probably get away with not having them). It's a pretty simple layout, really. There is also a cake (...and a mini cake for Karkat Vantas, for Reasons having to do with slight bribery and promises) and various other sweets around, so there's that. When the cake is served there will be a mandatory birthday song singing, sorry Sollux.

There aren't any real surprises here, it is literally just a birthday dinner with decorations. ENJOY, and feel free to start any thread you like for mingling. ]

[ Obviously Aradia's out and about for this event; she'll greet people at the door, and will socialize pretty freely, since there's a fairly good chance of her knowing most if not all of the attendees. Indy the Gengar is her only visible pokemon companion, and he occasionally wanders off to do...whatever he does, which is mostly wait around to scare people, honestly.

She's dressed pretty casually because this is a party for Sollux; jeans, a red turtleneck, and a red "alice" headband she got for Valentines' from Other Father. She also acquires a red party hat over the course of the evening - her Gengar gets a blue one, and actually keeps it on without complaint.

To the surprise of absolutely no one she's in high spirits for the entire night. ]

[Why is this happening. Why.]

[Sollux is just... standing there, affixing Aradia with a very dead stare and looking not at all like the happy dandy birthday boy he should be.]

[ So like every other day of his life, basically, right?

The glare has zero effectiveness on her, although it does get her to go over to check on him.

She has brought party hats, too. You know, in case he suddenly feels an uncharacteristic need to wear one. ]

Sollux! Smile, silly.

...Well, I guess it's technically your day, so you don't have to smile if you don't want to. Do you want a hat? You can have two, even!

[ Well, he might not be smiling, but that certainly makes her smile - and she'll happily hand over the party hats. ]

If we got you two more and cut them off a little, you could have horns again for the day!

Just going to hold them up to Indy to do the snipping, actually, after she thinks about it. He clearly knows what's what, and will get on that, passing back the modified hats after a few seconds with a cackle. He's never not cackling though. ]

So, now that it's your birthday and you're officially celebratory, is there anything else you want to do? We can play games or something!

Any kind you want! Card games, board games...I think there are some human party games we don't know, but we'd have to ask Jake or Dirk or Jane about those...!

Ugh. From the troll party games we have, I don't even want to know what the humans came up with.

I don't know what they have really! I mean, the only human party tradition I've figured out is mistletoe, and the other dead plant ones. And also I've learned not to drink punch at a party with our humans because apparently they like to spike it with soporifics??

[ She needs to research party games, stat. ]

Fucking mistletoe... wait. What other dead plant ones? [Do they even have dead plant games in a world where nothing dies?]

Remember the balloon tree? I guess normally they actually cut down a large tree! And then there are wreathes of dead plants, which get hung on doors.
