Who: Any of Sollux's friends who saw the invitation.
Where: Private room at a local restaurant.
When: 2/22, early evening.
What: Birthday party/dinner thing, because Aradia was serious about it.
Rating: PG or PG13, SOME OF THE GUESTS HAVE LANGUAGE WARNINGS (Sollux and Karkat).

[ It's a party slash dinner thing! The room is decorated with red and blue streamers and such, and there are party hats for anyone who wants them (if you don't want them, you can probably get away with not having them). It's a pretty simple layout, really. There is also a cake (...and a mini cake for Karkat Vantas, for Reasons having to do with slight bribery and promises) and various other sweets around, so there's that. When the cake is served there will be a mandatory birthday song singing, sorry Sollux.

There aren't any real surprises here, it is literally just a birthday dinner with decorations. ENJOY, and feel free to start any thread you like for mingling. ]

I don't know what they have really! I mean, the only human party tradition I've figured out is mistletoe, and the other dead plant ones. And also I've learned not to drink punch at a party with our humans because apparently they like to spike it with soporifics??

Remember the balloon tree? I guess normally they actually cut down a large tree! And then there are wreathes of dead plants, which get hung on doors.

Well, the punch was spiked with human soporifics, which I suppose caused people to act...out of character, although not exactly that. With a lot of making out under mistletoe? And human love triangles. I'm actually not sure why so many people told me about their respective experiences, come to think of it.

Do I look like I know about that sort of thing? Because I'm really more well-suited to give advice about, I don't know, unearthing artifacts or crossing chasms with a whip?? Or time management?

What are friends for if not to start pointless arguments for the entertainment of other friends?

Although I'm not sure what party is coming up next. I mean, birthday-wise the nearest are mine next month and Jane and John's in April. I don't think there are any more human holidays until...gosh, October? That I know of, anyway.

Humans are dumb, they must have made something up for the interim.

...Well, I'll agree there's probably something I don't know about, but you should be a bit nicer! We're humans right now, after all. We should at least try to figure out their culture.
