It's a day full of fun, friends, and festivities! The NO FOOLIN' Benefit Concert has been set, the microphones tested and on stage, the sound running smoothly, weather cooperative. Food stations are everywhere, ready to feed and rehydrate everyone who's in the area, and the musicians have been given free reign to everywhere.

Throughout the day, live footage will be broadcasted on TV Channel 14, and video and CD recordings will be available for purchase at the end.

So swing your Gear at a donation station and enjoy the concert!

[Excellent. She attaches herself to his face, then. Dave is her favorite Strider just because his hair doesn't look like it's about to kill her if she lands on it. Robin's also excited enough to see him that her cheeks are sparking a little...and might be causing Dave's hair to stand up slightly.]

[Dave snorts at this and reaches up to scoop her into his hands. If she lets him, he'll scratch behind her ears.] Hey, where's your best buddy, the wary ward English?

[She just makes happy squirrel noises since Jake isn't too far behind.]

[He huffs as he makes his way over, but grins.]

You three did amazingly up there!

Nah, you're totally wayward. Wandering from here to dell. [He makes a gesture with his free hand.]

A lot of people did amazing shit on that stage. All for a good cause.

And you're insufferable, but that appears to be a pure Strider trait.

That's very true! I suppose I'm biased in saying that the Strider Trio performance was my favorite?

[He has to laugh at that. Jake is well, Jake. Sometimes that's pretty damn awesome. He smiles briefly, it's gone before you know it.] Hey we're a trio of badass mother fuckers, of course you can be bias to that much fire getting dropped down and stamped on to stroke it higher. It's criminal not to acknowledge that much flow. Even a nod is the perfect way to say 'damn they got the GAME'.

[Probability that Jake didn't notice the smile: 80%. He can't help laughing at that.]

It's pretty endearing seeing a family doing a performance like that on stage! If I didn't get nauseous at even the thought of going up in front of all those people, I'd have asked Jade to see if she would want to join me.

[He shrugs.]

C'est la vie, I suppose.

[Later he'll have a nerve breakdown where no one can see. He was so worried when they went up on that stage of making Bro or Dirk look bad or not measuring up. Dave sucks in a breath, as if he's about to laugh. But no. He's just using it he can keep his poker face on.] You'll get your chance eventually. It's one of those things that isn't once in a lifetime.

Oh, no, I think I'd pass an opportunity like that. I'm somewhat of a milquetoast.

Course he will, he's Dirk. [Dave says it like the fact he's Dirk means he'll survive just about anything. In the past he's said the same thing about Bro. His faith is vast.]
