Who: ANYONE AND EVERYONE
Where: ANYWHERE AND EVERYWHERE
When: May 31 - June 2
Summary: GET IN HERE AND MINGLE
Rating: BUT PLEASE MARK YOUR THREAD CONTENT ACCORDINGLY
Log:
Callin' out around the world
Are you ready for a brand new beat?
Summer's here and the time is right
For fourth wallin' in the streets
They're breakin' it in Cianwood
Down in Mahogany
In New Bark "City"
All we need is music, sweet music
There'll be music everywhere
There'll be swingin', swayin', B-G-M playin'
And fourth wallin' in the streets
Oh, it doesn't matter who you bring
Just as long as it's your thing
So come on, every guy grab a girl,
Everywhere around the world
They'll be roleplayin'
Fourth wallin' in the street
This is an invitation
Across the nation
A chance for the folks to meet
There'll be laughin' and singin' and music swingin'
And fourth wallin' in the streets...

...But it just got a lot better in a hurry.
Most people start shaking in their boots at the sight of Eliot's scowl; Parker couldn't be happier. DON'T MIND HER JUST POPPING UP TO SAY HELLO.]
Eliot!
[AND AIMING AN E.T.-ESQUE POKE AT HIS FACE TO MAKE SURE THAT'S REALLY HIM, BRB.]
no subject
[ he would be glad to see her if it weren't for the fact that he's been kidnapped into a place that is alltogether too stepford for his tastes and that she's here means she's been kidnapped as well. that anyone would manage to grab both him and parker — they're quite possibly the most difficult to surprise, both of them. none of this is good. ]
no subject
Nope, she hasn't been on the happy pills. She's just trying to be normal, okay? Being normal is hard work when she has to do it all by herself.]
You should call me Alice. [She hisses, sotto voce.] I told people here I'm Alice. You know, 'cause she's nice. And not...us.
[HI, ELIOT.]
no subject
it's strange, but he doesn't question it and her next sentence, well. that explains it, right? ]
Damn it, Parker. How long've you been here?
[ long enough to tell people she's alice. ]
no subject
Three months. Actually it's eighty-nine days but it's about three months. I woke up here after the job at Wakefield Agriculture. You know, with the Steranko.
[Also with her semi-real dad. That was a good happy ending, even if it ended up short-lived thanks to her arrival in Johto.]
no subject
then again, there's those things here so maybe eliot's actually on drugs and hallucinating. that's probably the most likely explanation, even though he doesn't feel drugged. ]
no subject
[An explanation that probably doesn't help with the theory of being drugged any.]
And there are aliens and that little ninja rat guy is your starter. He's supposed to fight for you. [She casts the Mienfoo a suspicious look.] He's not evil, is he? They gave me a horse when I got here and it's evil.
[More evil than she usually maintains horses to be, that is.]
no subject
[ he doesn't know this mienfoo thing, how would he know if its evil? but it hasn't tried to bite him or anything. ]
no subject
[She motions for emphasis.]
That's this. You're supposed to catch all the little guys.
[Suffice to say, Parker did not have nearly so difficult a time accepting this as a reality on her first day here, but there's always been something a little (or maybe a lot) wrong with Parker that way.]
no subject
This is a nightmare. [ definitely. and, squinting at parker because at least his subconscious is getting her right, but that doesn't mean he doesn't need to point this out: ] There's something wrong with you.
no subject
[It's so comforting to be in the presence of Eliot's scowling disgust once again. Like one little thing is right with the world again.
She bends down out of direct line of sight, briefly, and when she returns she's holding a Breloom, which she proceeds to shove at Eliot's face.
The Breloom scowls impressively, too.]
He used to just be a mushroom but now he's a punchy mushroom.
no subject
[ there is absolutely nothing right with the world, okay. nothing about this is right and eliot's scowl eloquently expresses as much. or at least it should. ]
Tell me you're kidding, Parker. [ she named a mushroom thing after him. there is no way in which he is okay with that. ]
no subject
He punches really fast.
[LIKE THIS EXPLAINS EVERYTHING.]
no subject
He's a — thing.
[ IT EXPLAINS NOTHING. okay maybe it explains the association but still. ]
no subject
[Eliot would be delicious in anything, let's be real.
...That's in like a "girls like him" way and not a "Parker is secretly a cannibal" kind of way.]
You better not try to rip his head off like a piñata.
no subject
and yeah girls do like him. he'd rather not be put in food, thank you very much. but the delicious in a sense of girls liking him? he approves of that. ]
Fine.
