Who: Mayuri and Morigana
Where: Probably around Pallet Town
When: September 4th
Summary: Mayuri wants to see Morigana, show her the Super Bug and ask her about stuff.
Rating: G
Log:
Reaching Kanto and Pallet Town was a breeze for Mayuri. A Magnet train pass, her Altaria to fly her around and Luxray to ride on whenever the dragon bird needed to rest. What would have been a month long journey was cut down to just a little under a week. She also stopped by Pewter Gym in order to revive her now fossilized bird, because she couldn't leave the little ribbon thief trapped in stone now.
Now in Pallet Town, she asks around for Morigana. She skips along happily wherever she went and her Togekiss floating right behind her as always. She's also brought a little something from Goldenrod, a typical magician's wand, because she still believed the strange girl came from a world of stereotypical illusionists.

Morgiana takes notice of the other girl and approached her quickly, though that was more in due to the long strides she took with her legs than an actual run. Behind her trail four Pokemon who look as though they have never seen the inside of a PokeBall. Sprite and very energetic, the Plusle, Minun, and Azurill all follow behind the Pichu as if he were their leader.
(He likely is)
"Good afternoon." Having learned to properly greet someone, she raised an arm to wave. "It didn't take you long to get here?"

"Tutturu~ How've you been doing?"

It never grew easy to talk about herself.
"Traveling. I've been looking for books that aren't about Pokemon for Al in case he returns, but I hear that a number of people here never do come back."
What a depressing topic.

Mayuri wasn't exactly sure what she was implying, still not fully grasping how this strange world worked and all.
Meanwhile, her Togekiss is making better headway by offering to be a shield under the sun and a piggyback ride to any pokemon who requests it.

A simple explanation for a topic that continued to bother her. Being an individual who disliked being alone meant that she took her losses a little harder than she should even if they were complete strangers.
Naturally the Pichu will attempt to mount on the Togekiss, insisting to the others that he would be their leader and take charge into battle. What battle? Who knows.

Pipi the Togekiss lets the tiny rat board her back. And they're off to a start by Pipi flying a few feet off the ground, but to a small Pokemon it can seem like stories high.

How do they return home if they are here? Then when people really return home, why do their bodies disappear with them?
"There are many unanswered things about this world. Why don't people question it more?"
She paused only to watch the two Pokemon play, the rest of Morgiana's little team skipping after in an attempt to keep up with Pipi's speed.

"I don't think they know much either, nobody even knows if the Elite Four is around or not." Which was rather strange to someone who was familiar with the games. Nobody even seems to mention them much or the Champion.
no subject
"Forgive my asking miss, but what is a video game?"
A tilt of her head to indicate her subtle curiosity, but at least her gaze is focused back on her.
"As for the Elite Four, I hear that they are in hiding. I'm not sure why they hide--are they scared of us? Maybe we should get together to introduce ourselves. If we do that, then they have little reason to be afraid."
no subject
"Oooh, they're like games you can play on the television screens or by itself on a little game system. Maybe they have them in the store somewhere!" She hadn't looked. Much of her money went to inn fees and taking care of herself and her pokemon.
She puts her finger to her chin for the next question. "Mmm, I've tried asking around. No one knows for sure where they went. Who would know where they are?
no subject
"Would it matter where they are if we just ask them to reveal themselves? If we get enough people in one place, surely they would come. A lord would do the same if his people gathered to demand answers from him."
no subject
But now that Mayuri thinks about it for a minute, something else comes to mind. "Actually I think there's a place where they're usually at.. I think it's called Plateau something?"

The next obvious course of action to take would be to pull out the PokeGear from her pack and try to load the map. Sluggish and a bit odd with her input commands (pecking one at a time with her index finger cautiously), she eventually gets the map on screen.
"Where?"
no subject
"Right over there! There should be a path right outside the city."
no subject
"Is this commonly known among the others or just yourself?" Though she would wonder how she knows that as well.
no subject
"You know what I said about video games right? Where I come from this place is a video game." She gave a sleepish smile.

This thread suddenly got meta.Pausing to consider the possibility, she found herself left with only one way to find out. Raising her arm, she punched herself in the shoulder hard."Nope... I don't think that's true..." That loud crack might not be good, but Morgiana doesn't seem to be reeling from pain, just confusion that she had been successful in her attempt to punch herself.
no subject
"Wah! What are you doing there?"
no subject
Rubbing her shoulder as she spoke, "Proving that no one is controlling me and that I make my own decisions. Nothing in a video game can do that, right?"
no subject
"Oh by the way, Mayushii's got something to show you."
no subject
"Something to show me?" She couldn't look any more attentive if she tried. "What is it?"
no subject
"Ta-da! Look, it's just like what magicians have to pull off magic tricks!"
no subject
"Do you think I can use magic if I use it?"
no subject

"Is this plass-tick?" The word is drawn out to indicate her unfamiliarity with it. She had asked once what a material was and told it was that, so now she made the assumption that every strange-smelling object was plastic.
