Who: Mayuri and Morigana

Summary: Mayuri wants to see Morigana, show her the Super Bug and ask her about stuff.

Reaching Kanto and Pallet Town was a breeze for Mayuri. A Magnet train pass, her Altaria to fly her around and Luxray to ride on whenever the dragon bird needed to rest. What would have been a month long journey was cut down to just a little under a week. She also stopped by Pewter Gym in order to revive her now fossilized bird, because she couldn't leave the little ribbon thief trapped in stone now.

Now in Pallet Town, she asks around for Morigana. She skips along happily wherever she went and her Togekiss floating right behind her as always. She's also brought a little something from Goldenrod, a typical magician's wand, because she still believed the strange girl came from a world of stereotypical illusionists.

"We could! And have a little party gathered up where we are too with lots sweets and activities." She's already daydreaming about the possible festivities right now.

But now that Mayuri thinks about it for a minute, something else comes to mind. "Actually I think there's a place where they're usually at.. I think it's called Plateau something?"

"So there already is a place..."

The next obvious course of action to take would be to pull out the PokeGear from her pack and try to load the map. Sluggish and a bit odd with her input commands (pecking one at a time with her index finger cautiously), she eventually gets the map on screen.

"Where?"

Mayuri points her fingers towards the area west of Viridian City on the map, if memory serves her right, that was the place. While she's a bit of ditz, her recollection skills are pretty ace.

"Right over there! There should be a path right outside the city."

Noting it for the future, Morgiana gave her a nod to show that she understood. For now, it would be unimportant information, but perhaps some day later on this year she could make use of the knowledge.

"Is this commonly known among the others or just yourself?" Though she would wonder how she knows that as well.

"Umm..." How to explain this to a girl who doesn't know about video games? It was weird enough meeting people who didn't know a thing about the video game series.

"You know what I said about video games right? Where I come from this place is a video game." She gave a sleepish smile.

"Does that mean our actions are not our own, but the cause of another?"

~~This thread suddenly got meta.~~ Pausing to consider the possibility, she found herself left with only one way to find out. Raising her arm, she punched herself in the shoulder hard.

"Nope... I don't think that's true..." That loud crack might not be good, but Morgiana doesn't seem to be reeling from pain, just confusion that she had been successful in her attempt to punch herself.

"Well, we might be trapped in a video game for real. Just like in a light novel World Mart Online! Dontcha think it would be co-" And Mayuri makes a surprised face from Morgiana hurting herself.

"Wah! What are you doing there?"

"It would be what?" Being trapped in a video game didn't sound like an ideal learning experience, but at least Morgiana confirmed that she's capable of hurting herself if she felt like it. "Oh, this?"

Rubbing her shoulder as she spoke, "Proving that no one is controlling me and that I make my own decisions. Nothing in a video game can do that, right?"

"Mm, yeah. But you aren't hurt are you?" She gives a look of concern, before turning over to a different topic.

"Oh by the way, Mayushii's got something to show you."

Tucking her arm back behind her, Morgiana perked up in interest at that.

"Something to show me?" She couldn't look any more attentive if she tried. "What is it?"

"I bought you somethiiiing~" She adds a little zing to the end of her sentence and pulls out from her pack... an ordinary magician's wand.

"Ta-da! Look, it's just like what magicians have to pull off magic tricks!"

A stick? She would wait for the explanation as to what it is before thinking back on how accurate it is. While Judal didn't seem to have one himself, Aladdin did have a magical flute and a staff.

"Do you think I can use magic if I use it?"

"You definitely can! A lot of magicians use them to do magic tricks." But this object looked normal and didn't appear to have any special proprieties to it.

Sticking the point of it near her eye, she studied it up close and intently to the best of her capability to do so. It didn't seem like a magical artifact, in fact it had the strange smell of most things in this world that she hadn't grown accustomed to.

"Is this plass-tick?" The word is drawn out to indicate her unfamiliarity with it. She had asked once what a material was and told it was that, so now she made the assumption that every strange-smelling object was plastic.
