[Well....this is not the Mother of Invention anymore and while the ship is large North is fairly certain it can't fit whole cities. But he here is in downtown Goldenrod, dressed for the occasion in purple and green armour. There's a Sylveon currently rubbing up against his feet and a plusle on his shoulder checking out Theta, North's AI partner, who's retreated to the other shoulder.]

Well, this is new.

What. Not going to make a big deal out of it? [A blond haired teenager steps away from a burger joint with a container of fries in one hand. Trailing after him is a tall flaming horse with a horn in the center of its forehead. He ignores the oddity to raise his eyebrows at the evolution of Eevee.]

...okay that's new.

Believe me, I'm freaking out on the inside.

[And he is a little. There's a vague twinge of nostalgia when he sees the unicorn. Should he know about this place? He looks down at the Sylveon, who chirps up at him happily.]

This thing? It showed up when I did. Same with the other guy.

[Dave digs into his pocket and flips open his pokedex. He points it at the Sylveon and studies the data.]

Probably everything being weird already made something new. Idk but that's an evolution of eevee that's...

[His eyebrows climb higher into his hair.] Fairy type. What did the tooth fairy blow through here and leave some helpers behind??

[He looks like he wants to keep talking on but spots something behind North. Whatever it is he shakes his head (another him just down the street shaking his head too).]

Right. The explanation. Uuh, if you're staying or not depends on whatever brings us to Pokemon world. We get a few days like this and it's like a bender. You wake up some time later with a lot of time passed and you're wondering if you're going to be arrested in the next five minutes for things you wouldn't have done sober.

[Eevee...that sounds vaguely familiar as well. From a video game maybe? If York were here, North could ask him.]

Sylveon huh? Maybe she did, although I'm not sure what this one can do with teeth.

[veon? The Sylveon will just sit and look cute. So North takes a minute to listen to the explanation. Pokemon, seriously? That was a kid's game. Even if he's from the far future and there's like general 50 or whatever.]

Sounds like a fun time, I think. And I'm here for a few days?

[People aren't going to like that. However, North has more pressing issues and reaches up to grab the Plusle, much to Theta's relief. He'll resume his spot on North's shoulder.]

I didn't actually think pokemon were real.

I didn't either. Turns out in one world it is. Funny how that works. It's like if something exists in one place, it links to another and exists on it's own. I dunno.

Space isn't my thing. [His flaming unicorn steps up beside him and snags a fry from his hand. He sighs at her and pats her nose.] Only one Lady B. That stuff isn't good for you.

[He focuses his attention back on North and digs into the container of fries himself.] It can be fun. I mean shit this is how many kids dream? Normally any tech, weapons, or powers are suppressed. Like if you can warp from one continent to the other, can't do that after the span of days pass and you get the memory gap.

You don't even remember getting powers or so back. It's a pain.

So, you're saying I got lucky. Otherwise this [He indicates the armour] would be gone?

[He doesn't even want to think what would happen to Theta on regular circumstances.]

No kidding, it's been years since I touched a game. Kinda wish a friend of mine was here. He'd be all over this.

Hey you never know, might be here right this instant. Living the Poke master life.

[Lady B tries to snag another fry and Dave blocks her with his hand. She looks a bit put out and he continues as if he never had to block his buddy from his food.]

Brightside is this place is mostly harmless, just a bit annoying. No giant space monsters trying to eat souls or anything weird like that. Dunno how it brings us here or how we go.

Sometimes people just disappear. In short, you got so lucky you might want to check for a four leaf clover on your person.

That actually wouldn't surprise me.

[The Plusle has finally caught wind of the fries and is looking intently at them. North tries to hold him back as best he can, but he's a little unsure as how to deal with pokemon. The closest thing he had to a pet was goldfish. And he never had much luck with those.]

I'll do that when I get the chance.

[Theta has finally worked up the courage to speak.]

[Dave offers the Pluse a fry and blinks at the new voice. One eyebrow raises then the other. He nods to the small figure, but unlike most kids he seems like nothing has changed for him.]

Networking here sucks, but I can offer up my laptop or wireless shades for this check. If you can't find anything your usual way. This is the weird time.

[The plusle takes the fry happily and starts munching.]

Wireless shades?

[Even coming from the future that's something they don't have. Theta does a check over the radio but the range isn't very far.]

That'd be good actually. I don't think there's anyone else here or I would have seen them on the trackers.

And I'm gonna guess this place is a lot bigger than we think, right?

Here's a hint. There's two continents. [Dave digs out his gear device and flips it to map function. He spins it so the can see the zoomed out map. He pulls his ishades off his face, replacing them with his old shades.]

Yeah these are wireless, touch free too. Super easy to use. All you have to do is put them on and think of what programs or so on you want to access.

[He holds both items out to North with a bit a small nod.] They've got crazy range, been that way since I first got them.

Yup, that's pretty big alright.

[Two whole continents. That's a lot of space to search. He takes off his helmet and takes the shades with a nod of thanks.]
