[Juniper wasn't here before. This was not where she was just a few minutes ago. The city she now stood in was big, and looming. But just a few minutes ago she was at her house in the woods. This was not near the woods, and definitely not any city she's ever seen before.

Of course, beside her was a quite large green plant animal that seemed quite intent on nuzzling her hat. It freaked her out quite a bit, enough to where she started backing away from the creature. That was, until said creature lowered its head, and she hesitantly rose her hand up to pet it. It... seemed to like that.

Then it started crying out, 'Mega! Megan! Nium!' And although that startled her, it seemed to like her?? She's just going to stare confusedly at this creature. Not even paying attention to how dang CROWDED this city was.]

[In a stark contrast to the chaos that's probably going on elsewhere, this teenage girl sitting on the ground near Azalea Town playing a handheld game while surrounded by a small cluster of Slowpoke and a single Porygon (that one can assume is her starter considering they're not native to Azalea Town) is zen as anything.

She's staring quite intently down at the game in her hands, oblivious to the world around her. Even the Slowpoke seem interested in her progress, in their own vacantly staring way. The Porygon is nestled up to her side, it's head resting on her lap.

[Well this was...not quite right. John was pretty sure this was not what was supposed to happen when you died...again. For the second time.]

[Okay, actually, hell, what does he know? He wasn't even aware that you could kill a ghost until all of about thirty seconds ago. For all he knows, landing in some kind of weirdass Pokémon world could be exactly what happens when you double die. Hell, his two companions sure seem appropriately themed for the situation.]

[Well, whatever, John is nothing if not used to weird shit like this by now and he's not about to pass up the chance to live out every 10 year old's dream come true. No, he's definitely going to absolutely relish this...once he finds out what happened to the rest of his ghost pals that is. Strangely enough, he seems to be the only one.]

[The creepily blank-eyed ghost teen can be found exploring the routes with his two Pokémon, battling various wild Pokémon or just generally goofing off. Or, you might encounter him in a city, where he's clearly searching for someone or something. He might even approach you (assuming he doesn't recognize you as one of his dead pals) and ask something along the lines of:]

Hey, have you seen a guy named Dave Strider anywhere? Couple of them, actually. I mean they're wearing different suits but they've all got the same goofy looking bird hair and Stiller shades. Doesn't smile much? Ringing any bells? Okay, then how about any grey alien kids? They have horns that look like candy corn? Yes? No? Maybe?

[You better believe if he recognizes you, though, he's going to skip all this crap and come bother you, whether you're actually the dead version he knows or not.]

[He isn't the alpha Dave, or even a regular Dave. Closer to the bargain bin variety knock offs like store brand cola vs the bigger brands.

Yet, he has enough sense of his aspect to know where he is doesn't fit into the timeline. Everything feels wrong and like he's flying through a field of static. Davesprite hovers in the air with a a flock of birds of all colors and sizes trailing after him. He looks like a glowing band leader.

It's weird. He would know. Weird is his business.

He is coasting on the air currents and riding a thermal up higher in the sky when he spots a familiar suit. Davesprite drops out of the sky like a comet into a dive that ends in a slow curve around to get a look at John's face.

His tail spreads over the ground as he spreads his wings wide as if he were a god instead of a boy finally seeing his best friend from his own timeline again.]

[ Nanami doesn't have any problems ascertaining where she is. While she might not recognize all the Pokémon due to Route limitations, she's perfectly capable of recognizing the game tropes, many of the locations and NPCs, and the entire first generation of Pokémon. And once she's recognized, that, well...

...dropping a High School Level Gamer in an iconic video game? Isn't likely to upset her or throw her off her stride at all. Rather than wasting time wondering where she is (obviously Pokémon, although the plot seems different - though that just makes it more fun) or what she ought to be doing, Nanami gets down to the business of playing the game.

This mostly means that regardless of zapping to random places, seeing random machines, or meeting people who she oughtn't be able to meet, Nanami seems perfectly content (and, in fact, excited) to get down to the business of being a Pokémon trainer. She can be found on routes tramping around dutifully in the tall grass (and avoiding ledges with a casually blasé air) or in towns, speaking to every NPC (...read: denizen) in sight and attempting to locate the "plot". She might try to challenge gyms if she can grind her team high enough. Periodically she can be found explaining certain "game mechanics" to her Munna or another member of her eclectic team. Or just, you know. Staring off into space as she plans her next move.

Nanami might also be found playing some of the pre-loaded games on the gear, as well as any she might have downloaded or bought. She just can't help herself. The fact that she's super focused on playing Robot Rapidash Attack won't make her unwilling to speak to people who approach, though; at any given time Nanami will be more than willing to speak to anyone who comes up, though she might initially be waiting for some sort of tutorial or side quest. After a bit, she'll adjust her opinion of the place to "Pokémon MMORPG", but she'll still be perfectly content with speaking to anyone who approaches her. ]

Daiya Oowada | Dangan Ronpa [mild spoilers for the second motive of the first game]

[Out of all the things that Daiya imagined the afterlife to be, some kind of woodland dogfighting ring wasn't one of them. Still, he figured, it could be worse.

The man on top of the Steelix that's just kind of cruising around looks like he was made to be seated there with how well he's balanced against the rocking and rumbling of the imposing metal snake beneath him. The fact that it didn't need to be steered was new, so he's content to let it go where it wants to. The skirt of his white coat is draped over the next shining, diamond-hard stone that makes up the Steelix's body, and the gold thread catches the light almost as much as the great silver snake that he's sitting on.

More than that, anyone who might have heard about him will know him instantly by the jet black pompadour that's so similar to his brother's, but somehow even more stupid looking majestic.]

[Well, Mondo's seen a lot of strange things during his time here in Johto, but this was kind of the last thing he was expecting for some reason. Despite it making perfect sense. Of course Daiya would make a grand entrance, showing up on the closest thing to a motorcycle this world has. Of course he would.

That said, it takes Mondo several minutes to come out of the initial shock of seeing his brother alive again, but when he does--]

[ WV has absolutely no idea where he is, nor does he really...care. Strange new places are no longer strange to be thrown into, and as far as strange new places go, this isn't so bad. Sure, he's clueless, but there seems to be food and nothing looks like it's immediately dangerous or anything, so it's fine.

Though some of this food seems to be fighting back or offended about its place as food. Which is a little troubling, really.

Look how delicious this thing is. Or these things, which are clearly food. Or...any Pokémon egg, really. Or anything. Really, anything. Considering the list of things he's tried to or has eaten over the course of his life, anything ever is pretty applicable here.

Why won't these things accept their fate and allow him to ingest them? It's really quite RUDE.

The Mayor (as his sash proudly proclaims) can be found pretty much wherever, either trying to eat something edible or something decidedly inedible or just sort of goofing around doing whatever. He has no clear goals for his time wherever he is, and is easily distracted by pretty much anything that happens or anything he finds. He doesn't seem to be that upset about whatever the heck is going on, at least.

It's probably best not to ask him to battle with you or something, though.

After a while of wandering around, he situates himself in Can Town, which seems to consist of various tab cans and faygo bottles and library books. While all the citizens were properly transported to - well okay still not sure where he is, so the place henceforth known as New Can Town, none of the roads or anything were. So he will be industriously using chalk to give his loyal citizens some roads and zones. Sadly there is mysteriously no green chalk for any grass, but what can you do.

Don't you dare knock over any of the citizens, no self-respecting mayor can allow such nonsense okay. Especially one with such logical and amazing priorities! ]

Something that might be a bit more noteworthy than his team, however, might be the fact that his left eye is no longer gold but instead a kind of teal color...]

[Ethan still gets these strange dreams every now and then, and that is what he assumes this is. Presently he is standing near a Pokemon Center and is tilting his head at it, analyzing the architecture behind it. A small Drifloon that he hasn't seemed to notice floats behind him.]

"Slowly" because he keeps pausing every so often to look back at the Charmander that seems to be following him. Every so often he looks around at passerbys, but they don't seem to think anything is off with the creature being there. Perhaps they can't see it?

[Either way, Saix doesn't seem to particularly care. He seems more busy just looking over everything with a critical set of eyes, one sharp gold and the other a brilliant teal. He also doesn't seem to much care about the small entourage of Pokemon following him- the shiny Umbreon curled up in his hood, the Clefable practically attached to his heels, the Lunatone floating serenely behind him, or the Ursaring hulking behind a bit slower than the rest.]

What's it like being an orange flying piece of trash? Boring? No, it's very...aimless. Birds swirl around Rose in a flood of colorful wings and vibrant song. The hurricane they create never touches her, she's in the eye of the storm. When they vanish Davesprite is there glowing in the light with an impassive expression on his face.

He unfurls his wings and stretches them towards the sky. Older and wiser, he still works his jaw because he doesn't know what to say. How's life seems rude and pretty...terrible.

[This was all so impressive and new. An expansive land she could explore without having to be cooped up with that brother of hers. It was a relief. Mostly because she wasn't chained to anything, meaning he could put his dumb mitts all over her things, and that was the last thing she wanted.

The animals here were kind of cool. Somehow she hadn't expected real animals to look like this. They always seemed...blander, from everything she'd read. Her stories would definitely need to be amended. Especially those involving Callie.
