[Usually it isn't normal for girls to be falling from the sky but to be fair, she was supposed to be heading for different plaace, not....here.

Despite falling at least 10 feet from the ground, Yumi lands on the ground with ease in some kind of weird spandex outfit, as if she was from a video game or virtual world or something. She looks around, confused of her location. Where was she?]

Uh, Jeremie? [Don't mind the girl just talking to herself.] Jeremie, I think we have a problem here...Jeremie?

[She places a hand on her hip and her face in the other.]

(It definitely isn't normal, but neither is the sight of a pink-haired girl who's just as surprised about her current surroundings. Surprise turns into excitement once seeing she's not alone.)

[The Japanese girl goes over to where the pinkette was. She was relieved there was at least someone here she knew. Better than wandering this place alone. But there was something familiar about this world that she can't figure out..]

Any idea where we are?

(She shook her head, Aelita having given it a moment or two to let the notion sink in that wherever they were, it wasn't Lyoko and it wasn't home.)

I'm glad you're here but I'm not sure. I can't contact Jeremie and I'm not sure if that means something went wrong with the virtualization process, or worse...

As if things couldn't get worse.

[She looks around the area once more, trying to look for hints of their current locations. This place...it feels a bit too real. As if they weren't in a virtual world anymore..

Before she could say anything else, a large Golbat thought it would be nice to land on top of the Japanese girl, causing her to fall over on her face.]

Ack!

(The sudden appearance of a Golbat was startling, but Aelita stifled a giggle and went over to help Yumi back up, also shooing the Pokémon away.)

Are you okay? Good thing it wasn't a Creeper or a Kankrelat.

(It did seem familiar, though. Odd once told her what it was called...)

[While the Golbat indeed got off of the girl, it refused to fly away. It stayed nearby, as if waiting for further orders.

Yumi got back up on her feet with Aelita's help. She was rubbing her back because ow, that was hard blow.] Yeah, I'm alright. Thanks..

[She looked back at the large bat pokemon. She was completely angry at first but as she looked at the Golbat, a realization hit her straight in the forehead. Not only did she know the Golbat, she had an idea where she was.]

...I've been here before. Don't call me crazy...but this is some kind of pokemon world.

[A girl falling out of the sky is definitely not your everyday occurrence, that's true. But somehow this kind of strange event doesn't seem too out of place and he can't quite place why. It's almost as if he's lived through it before.

Shino's going to mind his own business and return his attention to his companions. Or he would anyway, if his Volcarona doesn't suddenly halt her fiery onslaught and flutter over towards Yumi like-... well, a moth to a flame.]

[Oh, the firebug shouldn't have done that.

You see, after years being on Lyoko, fighting monsters such HORNETS, its kind of a reflex to retaliate against a big bug thing that was flying towards you, whether it may be out of malice or not. So what does Yumi do?

She summons her tessen fans out of midair and throws it at the Volcarona, intending on striking her in the head. She'd better move out of the way fast if she doesn't want to get sliced.

[Volcarona is used to battling other Pokemon, but it isn't common for her to be pitted against another human, let alone one she recognises as an ally. The tessen fans slice through the air far too quickly for the moth to change trajectory in time-

-thankfully they're stopped midair by a cloud of tiny insects forming a shield around the bug. The fans steel fans drop to the ground and Shino approaches looking appropriately irritated at the attack.]

That was unnecessary. Do you attack every pokemon that so much as looks at you? I ask, because it was clear that it had no intention to harm. [Well, it was obvious to Mr Bug Whisperer anyway...]

Pokemon? [What's this talk of pokemon is he implying? The gigantic fire moth was obviously an upgraded XANA monster that's native to this world right?

She looks closer at the Volcarona and oh shit, it is not a XANA monster. It didn't have the Eye anywhere on its body and she and the trainer looked pretty familiar...]

Oh my god...Maya? Shino?

[It seems like the main threat has passed, Shino recalling the kikaichu back up his sleeves. Permanently downturned eyebrows just furrow even more. There's no sense of recollection when he looks at this girl when he thinks there should be.]

... How is it that you can speak with such familiarity?

[She could feel the eyesbrows furrow in and boy was it an unpleasant feeling. What is he talking about? Didn't he recognize her? Was it cause of the outfit...or was it he doesn't remember at her?]

Because...we're friends, remember? We traveled with Naruto and everybody around Johto. [She turns to the Volcarona.] Isn't that right, Maya?

I think you might have taken a detour there Yumi. Long time no see. [Don't mind him, he's a lot taller now.]

[He laughed, spreading his hands and inviting her to get a closer look.]

Sure is. I had a bit of a growth spurt.

Well, how's everything been? [She places her hands on her hips.] Anyone getting into trouble? Any new additions to the team? Girl problems?

Er... my teammate Rin came and went, my other teammate, Kakashi, is here now... Oh! I have a friend named Neji, he's Tenten's teammate... Tenten and Sasuke are dating now.
