Wheel of Trade-ality, Turn Turn Turn

Who: Anyone in [community profile] route_29!
Where: Standing in front of your PC!
When: The Week of September 21 through 27
Summary: A mod-hosted venue for players to thread out trades of Gen VI Pokemon!
Rating: G unless otherwise specified (so please specify if necessary)!
Log:

HOW TO USE THIS LOG:

• We've provided seven headers, one for each day, swarm, and location!

• Characters currently in the area who are offering to send out swarm Pokemon on that day should respond to that header with offers/an IC starter of choice/etc!

• Characters who have incorporated an offer to send out Pokemon in one of their own posts are also invited to link to their posts on this log if they so desire!

• Characters looking for swarm Pokemon respond to available starters and thread from there!

• Threads completed on this log do count towards AC, provided they meet our usual standards!

• Please try to keep threads reasonably on-topic; while we're in no way discouraging characters from making friends and building CR on this log, please utilize network posts or IC inboxes for threads purely relating to general gameplay conversations.

• For general information about the swarm plot, check here!

• For this week's swarm calendar, check here!

• For moderator questions about the swarm plot, check here!

IMPORTANT REMINDER! THE FIRST EARTH TREMOR IS SET TO HIT SEPTEMBER 23!

Maybe no special someone to give them to yet, but I wouldn't mind brightening things up with a nice flowery friend!

[Hm, if Yuzu's here, she would really like these...]

That's fine too; we'll all need that brightness in a month and a half, surely. Would you like a color in particular? A quick use of my Return TM before I send it, perhaps?

Maybe they can be a lucky charm against the spooky gloom, too.

I'd like a blue one and knowing Return would be a plus!
paladinlost: (^_^)

[personal profile] paladinlost 2014-09-24 11:52 pm (UTC)(link)
A blue flower with return it is! ...I would have offered to also teach it Earthquake, but I've tried earlier and they're not compatible with the TM.

[personal profile] babel_hacker 2014-09-26 12:49 pm (UTC)(link)
Aww, too bad. It would be hilarious to see them using Earthquake in battle. But I guess I can make up for it with other moves.

I'd not be surprised at all if they could learn Grass Knot, at the very least. Perhaps even Giga Drain. They might even do so naturally.

[personal profile] babel_hacker 2014-09-27 07:09 am (UTC)(link)
Or even Solar Beam. Since they have a flower, it's practically expected!

If they don't, I would swallow my own words and start questioning the world again.

[He would say he'd eat his hat, but he love his hat too much.]

[personal profile] paladinlost 2014-09-27 07:21 pm (UTC)(link)
Even if they do learn it, I've no doubt we'll be questioning this world again by the end of the month.

[Because this world deserves nothing less.]

By the end of the month... There are still plenty of days left. No doubt that we'd start questioning the world as soon as we find out about a new Pokemon.
paladinlost: (^_^)

[personal profile] paladinlost 2014-09-28 02:38 pm (UTC)(link)
There'd be no need for even a new Pokémon. I question the world every time my Pokémon have eggs.

I stop questioning the world on that point every time I remember breeding.
paladinlost: (err)

[personal profile] paladinlost 2014-09-30 12:35 pm (UTC)(link)
I cannot quite bring myself to do that, even if it would surely spare me great confusion.

You should learn to drop it eventually, no matter how hard it'd be to train.
paladinlost: (curious)

[personal profile] paladinlost 2014-10-05 12:43 am (UTC)(link)
That makes every kind of training I've gone through before sound simple, truly.
babel_hacker: ([Yuzu] Showing off)

I think training your mind would be a little different from training your body.
paladinlost: (sighing)

[personal profile] paladinlost 2014-10-06 04:16 pm (UTC)(link)
I've had mental training before, but nothing quite so arduous.

I don't really have them, unless they're testing my programming skills and pinpointing my mistakes.
paladinlost: (err)

[personal profile] paladinlost 2014-10-11 12:52 am (UTC)(link)
That also sounds challenging, though I'm not in the best position to judge that.
babel_hacker: (Hat Tilt | Yo)

[personal profile] babel_hacker 2014-10-11 07:34 am (UTC)(link)
It depends! It can be challenging if I've been staring at the code for so long, my eyes start glazing over seeing my mistakes.
paladinlost: (happy)

[personal profile] paladinlost 2014-10-12 12:40 am (UTC)(link)
That sounds much like my eyes' reaction after spending hours reading history books and old peace treaties, back when I still had tutors. I do hope staring at your code is at least more pleasant.
babel_hacker: (Musical | Cheery)

[personal profile] babel_hacker 2014-10-12 11:18 am (UTC)(link)
It is! I like reading how the code are written and fit together when they're running smoothly. Of course, it doesn't make it any less frustrating when I finally find my mistakes and they turn out to be so simple.
paladinlost: (mischievous)

[personal profile] paladinlost 2014-10-13 08:16 pm (UTC)(link)
That sort of frustration builds character. And also teaches you to never make that particular mistake again.
babel_hacker: ([Yuzu] Showing off)

[personal profile] babel_hacker 2014-10-14 10:10 am (UTC)(link)
They better do. Otherwise I wouldn't call myself my teacher's Number 1's Apprentice.
paladinlost: (^_^)

[personal profile] paladinlost 2014-10-14 01:48 pm (UTC)(link)
You'd have to become the Number 2 Apprentice, instead?
babel_hacker: (AT-LOW | The Apprentice)

[personal profile] babel_hacker 2014-10-15 12:02 pm (UTC)(link)
No way! Not just anyone can become Naoya's student! I'm pretty much his only student.
