We Can See You Hate The Way We Intermingle
Who: Participants of the Freaky Fusions Boss Battle!
Where: Birth Island, in the Sevii Islands!
When: Thursday, October 29th through Friday, October 30.
Summary: You blinked, and now you've been glitched. And that sure is a spooky-looking Fusion Legendary, all right...
Rating: PG-13; please remember to mark threads accordingly if they go higher!
Log:

Well, draw some intersecting lines and call me a Triforce, this sure is an island, all right.
KEY:
• The GLOWING X at the upper portion of the island is where you will find Mewssingno! It won't be moving around much, so it will always be in the relative top section of the island, furthest from the safe haven for participants in the south. Exercise caution getting close to it, because...
• The PURPLE area surrounding Mewssingno is all area that will be affected by glitches! Inside that area, strange environmental things are likely to occur, such as attacks being deflected, neutralized, or outright disappearing and reappearing somewhere else, as if passing through a very small wormhole in space! You may play around with these effects as much as you like, but they should be contained to this particular area, and remember to ask permission from other players before randomly diverting a Hyper Beam through a wormhole directly at them in tags.
• STANDARD GRASSY areas in the lower part of the map are places in which characters are guaranteed to be safe from Mewssingno's glitches; however, these areas will be overrun by Fusion Abominations, so if you're just here for the garden-variety fighting of SquirtWeedMagneZards, this is probably where you'll be spending a lot of your time!
• The BLUE STAR in the south indicates a guaranteed safe zone from both Mewssingno and the Fusion Abominations. This is the station where a ferry to the island would dock, so you can find places to sit and a general atmosphere of relative quiet in here, making it a good place to store your wounded or to hide out. Characters may notice ICly that the Fusion Abominations and Mewssingno are avoiding this zone, or at least leaving it alone!
~
☆ DON'T FORGET TO CHECK IN WITH YOUR PARTICIPATION HERE! ☆.
REMEMBER: IF YOUR CHARACTER DOES NOT POST TO THE BOSS BATTLE LOG AT LEAST ONCE
(AS A TOP-LEVEL COMMENT OR IN RESPONSE TO SOMEONE ELSE'S TOP-LEVEL COMMENT)
BEFORE 11:59 PM EST on OCTOBER 30, THEY WILL NOT COUNT TOWARD THE PARTICIPANT-BASED SURPRISE IN STORE!

Lust | OTA
[Oh good god, no...]
[Lust had been spared any such catastrophes last year. Not this time. She finds herself on the island with dozens of others, still very much half Espurr and unable to stand upright or hold onto anything. She emits a psychic blast upon arrival, tumbling head over paws with fur puffed out like a purple cotton ball. Thankfully, she has a respectable team of Pokemon with her. Because she's in the grassy area full of aggressive fusions.]
[She stands on four paws in the center of her team, a cold horror inside of her at the sight of the creature that should not be. It's like something from some mad alchemist's deepest nightmares. She can barely stand, let alone fight! But she's not about to give up just due to anatomical deficiency. She has claws. She has teeth. She has pure psychic energy to blast and all of her considerable physical strength.]
[She can still put up a fight.]
B- Blue
[Battered and exhausted, Lust has dragged herself beyond the border of chaos and insanity. Her fur is dirty and matted and her hair is straggled and tangled and full of debris. Her team is looking all the worse for wear as well.]
[They've all taken quite a beating from the various fusions that swarm the grassy part of the island.]
Blue!
She rushes over as fast as she can with these awkward legs that Gothorita's happen to have, kneeling down in front of the older woman.]
L-Lust? W-What happened? Do you need potions? Do you need a brush?
[Would you like Rise help you look a little more respectable?]
no subject
[Lust put up quite the fight, but intense physical battle is a game she's been out of for over a year. She turns her giant, tired eyes to Rise and sighs heavily.]
Both, thank you. Though I'll warn you know, I don't have working hands.
[She can't even feed herself, let alone brush herself or drink a potion like a normal human being.]
no subject
That's okay. If ou don't mind, I can help with that.
[She takes out a Super Potion, holding the bottle up.]
I had to use one of these on myself earlier. It stings a little the fist time. Ready?
[She'll wait till Lust says yes before spraying her down.]
no subject
[She more than stung at the moment. She aches and hurts in ways similar to an intense physical routine, but deeper and stronger. Amiable sparring matches with Alphonse are as close to fighting as she ever does anymore.]
[She's more than willing to just let Rise tend to her.]
Thank you.

Green
The two women had only spoken a few times, but she'd gotten the impression that she wasn't a friendly person, and maybe a bit... eccentric. Just a bit. Who puts makeup on a Pokémon...
Not to mention the multiple occasions upon which Asami had been mistaken for this woman. She didn't understand it at all! Sure, they wore their hair kinda the same, but Lust was like... Korra's height! And... stout! It nicked at Asami's vanity just enough to be irritating, and some kind of silent, one-sided rivalry had formed in Asami's mind regarding the other woman.
Put simply, Asami was very used to being the hottest person in the room.
That wasn't the case for either of them right now, though. Asami's face still looked like a purple butt, and she still unleashed a powerful stench every time she got scared. It had honestly taken a great deal of pent-up courage to charge into the fray from her hiding spot among the trees. What she did next took even more.
Asami dashed into a skirmish of battling fusions and closed her eyes, building herself up and trying to shove down the absolute shame she felt at what she was about to do. After a moment of focus and a lot of dread, she lifted her tail and let loose a stink bomb that was more than likely to clear the area entirely.
In her distracted and nervous state, she failed to notice the shorter woman standing nearby on all fours who was currently just as purple and fluffy as she was.
Re: Green
Lust and her team had just finished fending off some unholy orange things with tentacles and pincers the size of her head when it hit her. Her eyes watered and her ears flattened in pure upset. She reared up on her hind paws, letting out a feline sounding wail of distress.
Then she saw the cause of the trouble. Now that was an unfortunate fusion...was that that skinny girl that she was always being mistaken for at functions? Good god, it was! Well, she supposed that was certainly an effective way of fending off the mutated Pokemon, but...
"Friendly fire, keep it in mind!"
Some hellish abominations running about were innocent victims. She'd gotten a faceful of the stench, it was like a toxic fume!
no subject
Oh. Oh, no. That was... Oh no.
Her first instinct was to hide her face. Her stupid, purple-butt face. She couldn't exactly do that right now, though, so she was stuck in the middle of this field, forced to stare down this woman who now knew that she had just fully intentionally released the equivalent of a superfart.
Meelo would be so proud.
"I'm so sorry!" It was almost a squeak.
no subject
Truly, this was a meeting of peerless beauties.
As Lust was trying not to literally gag up a hairball in front of Asami, a small cluster of abominations that weren't bothered by the smell were sludging their way towards the two women. They were part Grimer, part Trubbish, and part god knew what.
"We shouldn't stay."

Worst of all, though, was that he had been nicked by the tail of some Seviper-Milotic mix. He felt lightheaded and sick to his stomach and he had no idea how to communicate that he was poisoned.
Where was Henry when he needed him??
Still, though, it was a relief and a concern when he finally found Lust resting in the boathouse. He had hoped she would get to stay home again, especially since she had been complaining about how difficult it was to maneuver. Miserable as this Diglett head was, it could have been so much worse.
Scar settled down beside her, posture and eyes heavier than usual. He craned his neck (stump?) to look around her, making sure she wasn't seriously hurt.
no subject
"I don't know what's left in there. But use whatever you can. I already have."
Now she was mostly just tired and wishing she were home. And her normal shape. Or at the very least that Scar could communicate in a way she could understand.
no subject
Scar slipped the phone out of his pocket and typed in a blank window:
I think I am poisoned.
He lowered it for Lust to read, not otherwise acknowledging her contact as they were still very much surrounded by people.

"There's a Lava Cookie in the bag. Take it. It's the thing that looks like a burnt rice crisp and Pokemon items will work on you right now." And the main reason she ever had them in her bag was because Guttle just liked eating them. But sometimes they came in handy - curious, friendly Pokemon sometimes tried to make friends where they oughtn't. And sometimes things like this happened.
"I've already been sprayed with something that took care of the worst of my damages."

Need a hand? Or a wing?

[She whirls on a hornet armored horse with icicle spikes jutting out of it's body and nods to Tobias' offer, fur still on end. Her shiny ninetales is beside her, unleashing a flamethrower attack on the advancing fusion.]
Be careful!
no subject
[Regal dives down on a Venonant with blue coloring and a goofy grin on its face, and Tobias grins. All that circus training in unconventional things is helpful here.]
Have you been able to get close to that thing at the top of the island? I tried earlier and it didn't go well.
no subject
[She's tottering about on four useless paws, she isn't taking her life into her hands by approaching even greater danger. All she can do is swipe at the creatures, and emit blast after blast of energy. Which she does, with all the enthusiasm she can muster.]
I don't even want to be this close!

[Red is clinging to him with all her tail and as much strength as her arms will let her. As he comes to a stop besides Lust, Breach lets out a vicious Flamethrower.]
[In the meantime, Red offers the other woman her hand. Let's get the hell out of here.]
Green
[Good god, these mutations they'd been subjected to were horrific! Was no one left with proper mobility and four useful limbs? The other woman has it even worse than her, by the looks of it.]
Perfect timing! Remind me to buy you a drink or desert of your choice when all this is done!

Now he can put his ability as a big, angry Ursaring-man into use by charging right into a monster's face. Faces. He's not taking the time to count.
He sends it flying, and then it gets a snoutful of Zubat screech. He figures that should send it packing, or at least keep it busy.
Blake turns toward the familiar-looking but very purple lady. He's breathing hard, and his ripped-open shirt displays a furry chest with a yellow ring on the stomach. His head is a swirl of violent satisfaction and adrenaline, textured with the underlying urge to go fish up some salmon.]
You all right?
no subject
[At least someone looks like they're enjoying themselves. Lust is a tangled, dirty mess of lavender fur and black hair and would prefer to be anywhere but here.]
[But she's been holding her own well enough, even if she's had to resort to directly biting things on occasion. The former president, however, looks to be in his element.]
You look like the cover of one of those men's survivalist serials. 'Island of the Pokemonstosities', or 'I Fought The Mutant Teddy Bears of the Hell Sea'.
no subject
[Indeed, it makes him feel a little bit better about the ridiculous monstrosity he's become. At least he's tough this way. In fact, there's something familiar about the way the purple lady's voice and how she has a certain way of cheering him up. The cover model for 'Sneasels Ripped My Flesh'comes closer and sniffs the air.]
Lust? Is that you?
no subject
[This is most certainly not her best day. She knows from Envy's and Heather's stories that this will likely resolve itself perfectly fine and everything will go back to normal, but it's hard t hold onto that thought in the middle of a chaotic and unexpected battle.]
And it was meant as one.
[She's momentarily distracted by some fleshy looking bug thing with too many legs that slipped passed her Pokemon. With flattened ears and a feline yowl, she drives it back with psychic blasts.]
Damn it, they don't stop!
