Well, draw some intersecting lines and call me a Triforce, this sure is an island, all right.

KEY:

• The GLOWING X at the upper portion of the island is where you will find Mewssingno! It won't be moving around much, so it will always be in the relative top section of the island, furthest from the safe haven for participants in the south. Exercise caution getting close to it, because...

• The PURPLE area surrounding Mewssingno is all area that will be affected by glitches! Inside that area, strange environmental things are likely to occur, such as attacks being deflected, neutralized, or outright disappearing and reappearing somewhere else, as if passing through a very small wormhole in space! You may play around with these effects as much as you like, but they should be contained to this particular area, and remember to ask permission from other players before randomly diverting a Hyper Beam through a wormhole directly at them in tags.

• STANDARD GRASSY areas in the lower part of the map are places in which characters are guaranteed to be safe from Mewssingno's glitches; however, these areas will be overrun by Fusion Abominations, so if you're just here for the garden-variety fighting of SquirtWeedMagneZards, this is probably where you'll be spending a lot of your time!

• The BLUE STAR in the south indicates a guaranteed safe zone from both Mewssingno and the Fusion Abominations. This is the station where a ferry to the island would dock, so you can find places to sit and a general atmosphere of relative quiet in here, making it a good place to store your wounded or to hide out. Characters may notice ICly that the Fusion Abominations and Mewssingno are avoiding this zone, or at least leaving it alone!

[Well. Alright. Joker, still partially a Zoroark, looks utterly bewildered as he suddenly appears in the grass. Angel the Mime Jr is clinging to one bipedal leg, looking equally alarmed. It doesn't seem like he's been noticed by any Fusions yet... Feel free to investigate him and the- is that meowing coming from his hair, er, mane?]

[At some point, you can find this tentacled monstrosity being mobbed by a small horde of Litleo. Joker and Angel looks exasperated.]

Kids! Quit that, yer gonna get in trouble!

B - Purple

[Joker is on a mission. That mission? Trying to get a selfie with Mewssingno.]

[Because that's what you do.]

[So anyone curious can see him looking into the pure disaster area beyond the relative safety of the grass, hopping from foot to foot eagerly.]

[The heavy thudding sounds on the ground behind him aren't more hybrids coming up to make things worse, but rather the sound of Ilya's batch of horrors. Grinning down at him from the back of her Rhyperior, the ghost-girl hybrid eyes the monstrosity with mild amusement.]

Or do you think they have it under control?

[Greed is still very much half Yamask, but it appears, to his fortune, that he can still interact with the Pokeballs around his waist. Martel lets out a meow at his... where his feet should be, as she crouches low to the ground, staring at an abomination as Greed raising a hand reflexively to keep from getting bitten, or worse.]

C'mon, girl. We can do this!

[And if anyone else is around, he'll be frantically looking for the nearest person to him.]

C'mon, I could use a little help, here!

B- Purple

[The former homonculus hasn't quite decided upon how the hell he's oging to attack this thing, but it doesn't stop him from cautiously approaching the glitchy monstrosity anyway.]

How the hell are you supposed to attack this thing?

[Greed's, er, 'help' comes charging in out of nowhere right into the rat-fungus.]

[Considering this is an Arcanine, it ends... disastrously.]

[As in, the Arcanine trips over it and both Pokemon go flying while a Chatot literally takes off squawking in panic. Red, who'd been wrapped around her giant fire fluff monster, gets left behind on the floor in a daze.]

[She'd get up to her feet, if she still had feet.]

[That's, uh, that's help, right?

Red - ota

A - Green

[Things Red didn't ask for: Being randomly teleported to an island full of fusion monsters while she can't even walk. And she can't walk because her entire lower half is that of a Dragonair. That accounts for the horn and strange winged ears, at least.]

[What she does have? An Archanine she's clinging to as it blazed through the grass and a Chatot screeches from its furry head.]

[Hope you're not in the way.]

B - Blue

[Eventually, Red makes her way to somewhere safe. Her team is surrounding her, a Gardevoir especially hovering about her in concern. They're keeping an eye out for anyone who needs help, whether they're injured or just need a hand getting to the safe area.]

Green

Careful! There's a roadblock over here!

[Luckily, Ash (or at least, the metallic blue man that resembles him) is not in the way.

Unluckily, he's surrounded by some sort of overly large and complicated trap made of sticky webs, and he's too busy fighting the few smaller abominations he's managed to snag in there to move it. Please don't destroy too much of his work along the way?]

A- Purple
[Banjou has not had a good time lately. Suddenly growing a second pair of hands has not been his idea of a good time, but at least the... Pokemon instincts he has have made him want to pose like the most ridiculous body-builder.

At least he mostly has it under control now, though he can't help but want to punch the creepy Mewssingo in the face. It's pretty damn unlike him, but Banjou can't stop now.]

C'mon, Dai, use Stringshot!

[Hopefully you're able to leap out of the way, otherwise getting a Beedrill in the face is going to make your day very, very bad.

Whoops.]

B- Blue

[Retreating to the docks doesn't seem to be the wisest thing to do, in all honesty, but Banjou notices after only half a minute that nothing is approaching him or trying to chase him. Kind of strange, honestly.

A dumb looking fusion stares at him from just outside the barrier, but other than that... nothing.]

You think it's waiting to attack?

[That's said either to himself or to the nearest person. Either way, he's saying it aloud.]

B

[ Chie isn't going to remain at the docks for very long, fully intending to head back into the fray where the interesting things are happening, but right now she needs a break. Moving around with the set of Mawile jaws on her back is sort of tiring, after all. ]

Maybe it's too dumb to attack, Banjoi-kun.

A [Green]

[It starts off innocently enough. For whatever reason, Teddie and his team find themselves glitched over in the middle of lunchtime. Rude. The pokemon and their half-pokemon trainer all appear to be sitting - although some find themselves sitting in midair and land with a soft thud - eating sandwiches and generally just enjoy themselves.]

Huh... Is it just me, or did this picnic get a heck of a lot more...scenic?

[The five pokemon look around, still munching away, Teddie's own cubchoo ears twitching as if trying to hear out for anything that might be...off. Not that they go to work for very long, because he can see as plain as day that, yes, something is off when he and his entire team are circled by HORRIBLE FUSION MONSTERS.]

Ooohhhh...

[Well yes, that made sense. They're on horrible monster island, duh. Of course, how could he be so silly- wait.]

OKAY, PICNIC'S OVER!

[Quickly shoving sandwiches into their mouths, the group proceeds to hightail it out of there while a group of creepy looking fusions take chase. Hopefully nobody gets trampled.]

B [Purple]

[After chilling in the safe zone for probably forever, Teddie and his team eventually travel to the glitch ridden area our dear friend Mewssingno resides in. Well, maybe not his whole team, only Cho stands by his side as the others safely hide away in their pokeballs until they're needed. Teddie never liked using those balls, but he liked horrible injuries to his team a lot less.

Although he's gathered up the nerves to get that close, he's still a little nervous to outright attack the monster. As Cho plays bodyguard, he can only stand nearby, trembling.]

T-This is a heck of a lot worse than a Shadow...

[And fighting regular Shadows alone was never fun. If he had a group, like back home, this would be waaaaay easier... Where's a silent protagonist when you need one?!]

What chaotic commotion is this?

[Sorry,Teddie, but this half person half Houndour, all confusing guy, is just sort of staring at the stampede in front of him with a confused look on his face. Why are you leading them all this way? Seriously? What even are those? Actually, it doesn't matter, the important thing is trying to help here, right?]

Gour-gei, use Shadow Ball! Scatter those nightmarish fiends with your spectral phantasms!

[He'll just have his Gourgeist launch a Shadow Ball the fusions. Hopefully that helps reduce the number of things chasing Teddie.]

Korra - OTA

[One minute she's in her hotel room wondering if Pokemon get fleas, the next...]

[Korra has no idea what's going on. She hasn't been here long enough to have heard all the stories about past Octobers, and suddenly she's on some strange island and hell is breaking more than just loose. Her mind flashes back to Republic City not long before she came here. Where are her friends? How did she get shot through time and space without warning again? What is that in the distance? All of her fur is standing on end and her lip curls of its own accord as her shaggy, pointed ears swivel. Her tail is a rigid bottlebrush, standing at attention from between her shirt and pants. Her massive, furred hands ball into fists and it's just instinct that makes her drop into a Bending stance....]

[So much for a quiet relaxing vacation in a magical world. She doesn't have much time to register more than 'danger' and 'time to fight' before the fusions take notice of her and start to advance.]

B- Purple

[Getting closer to the giant Demonic Poke-Thing maybe wasn't the best idea. Korra and Iqniq are doing everything they can to try and hit the thing, but it's like the normal laws of physics packed up and took off as soon as trouble started.]

[But that's not going to stop the Avatar from trying everything she can think of.]

[It's like last year all over again. Only this time, there are a lot more freaky things running around with a taste for newly transformed trainers. Jimmy stumbles upon one of the abominations in the grass almost immediately, deceptively cute and with a thirst for blood. Anyone near the grass might see Jimmy scrambling out into the open, reflexively sprinting on all fours with a yelp when the Noifurret snaps angrily at his heels. His Noivern hovers nearby, firing off several rounds of Boomburst at the skittering thing that end up being dodged time and again, only to be nearly taken by his trainer instead.]

Notagainnotagainnotagain PIP, watch it!

[Jimmy skids and kicks up dirt as he runs, shouting at anyone he rushes past.]

Help help heeeeelp!

B - Purple

[Once Jimmy manages to put a safe distance between him and the fusions...safe becomes relative, because he finds his way to the source of their present problems, Mewssingno. He stands tall with his ears swiveling this way and that, grimacing as he watches all of the attacks leveled at it send rebounding off into different directions.]

Attacking it won't do any good! There's gotta be some way we can reason with it!

[Because that worked so well last year.]

[ Asami has lucked out in that she's completely immune to any Psychic attacks Mewssingno throws her way, but that doesn't mean she's not nervously eyeing all the weird reality shifting that's going on. She hasn't been drawing attention to herself throughout the fight, still subconsciously self conscious about her current half-Stunky form. But this kid... ]

You want to reason with that??

Green

[Compared to waking up with metallic skin that reminds him of an old uniform, finding himself on an island overrun by abominations is easy.

Well, perhaps not easy, but manageable. That's what Ash does, whenever life throws obstacles at him: he manages.

Managing is easier when one has friends, though. Especially when the friends in question can weave a trap, force the targets to stop moving and take hits. Or when they can snipe creatures from afar, enraging them into walking right into the spider's web. Or when they can simply set the whole thing on fire, and watch their prey scream.

This is far from a simple fight, but Ash has never been shy about using all the weapons he can get.]

Blue

[Anyone with injured Pokémon present at the station at the same time as Ash had better be willing to accept random healing items, because they'll get them. Hyper potions, full heals, revives, even the odd full restore or two... Wherever Ash sees the need, he distributes the goods.]

Take it. Just take it, I said. I have plenty more where this one comes from, I won't be missing it.

Naki | OTA

A - GREEN

[Well, there are a lot of things Naki wasn't expecting, and appearing in a totally random place isn't his idea of a good time. Naki's fused with a Murkrow, which means he's sporting Murkrow feet starting from the knees (his pants have been horribly ripped to accommodate his legs, but you know what sometimes sacrifices have to be made). Aside from that change he's also got tiny Murkrow wings coming out of his back (which of course involves his shirt and jacket ripped, because of course) and a bunch of feathers pretty much everywhere. They're primarily focused around his neck (poking awkwardly out of the top of his shirt) and in his hair, though there's not enough of them to make the "hat" Murkrows wear. They're ruining his hairstyle horribly, so he's got his bangs tucked behind his ears. It doesn't work nearly as well as he'd like.

Before he can even ask "what the fuck" Naki spots something incredibly familiar.]

You--!

[...Is that the same Munchkrow from before??? Well, it is a Munchkrow so one guess as to what Naki's going to do. If you guessed anything other than "LAUNCHES HIMSELF AT THE BIRD IN AN ATTEMPT TO FIGHT IT" then uh. Sorry.]

B - PURPLE

[Man, that sure is a dangerous looking Pokémon. Glitch? Glictchmon? What the hell is that thing. Naki has his two Malamars on either side of him and they're all looking up at the Mewssingno, the Malamars in awe and terror and Naki with the most done expression he can manage.]

Why. Why the fuck does this shit keep happening to me. I'm not here for this. Fuck this, I'm out.

[And with that Naki throws up his hands and turns to leave. His Malamars look appropriately confused and follow after him with psychic complaints about needing to help everyone, but of course Naki's not listening.]

A

[ Well, if he's going to fight the bird Naki's got himself a spectator who's taking pictures of him, because that's clearly a sane thing to do in the middle of a huge battle. Operating the camera is a bit difficult in her current state but she sure as hell isn't going to let that stop her from getting a scoop. ]

Punch the bird, Naki-san!

Tenteki - OTA

A - Green

[As his luck would have it, Kaneki appeared on the island along with everyone else tangled in the chaos. And since his luck has also had it with this nonsense and decided to skip town, he takes no more than a few steps before finding himself staring down this nightmare rearing its ugly head from the grass. The crests alongside its head flare and its jaws open in a nasty, drawn out hiss. Rikki, who hasn't been able to sit on his shoulder lately due to all of the poison coating Kaneki's person, immediately starts to try to face it with her fangs bared and claws at the ready. She knows better than to fight up close, but unfortunately for both her and Kaneki, the thunderbolt she strikes it with has no effect other than to make it angry.

Very angry.

Should you be standing nearby, you might want to be quick on your feet to get out of the way as the Cudos wheels around and slams its tail into the ground just inches shy of where Kaneki had been standing. He manages to just barely dive out of the way of it.]

Watch out!

B - Blue

[It doesn't take Kaneki long to realize that not only is he not equipped to be fighting Mewssingno, but he doesn't have any desire to get in the middle of it either. He and his Pokemon retreat to safety as soon as they're able, though he tries to find somewhere to be that isn't too close to anyone else. The tentacles still protruding from his back drip poison uncontrollably, and though it hasn't been hurting him, he doesn't want to get near anyone injured and risk making their condition worse. Not wanting to do nothing, though, he sends his Flygon to the field to help transport anyone injured who may need help.

In the meantime, he sits on the ground a safe distance from both the grass and the busiest part of the south side of the island. Rikki stays with him stubbornly while his Drapion and Scolipede flank him on either side, his only Pokemon guaranteed to be safe from the poison. All he can do, really, is watch the chaos unfold as the attempts to attack Mewssingno do absolutely nothing.

At least it gives him time to reflect on what could be the second potential end of the world, or something.]

Blue

[Well.

Maka tried to get to Mewssingno.

But its glitch aura sent her back, right back to the beginning. So all she's able to do is just...sit down with a sigh. This is irritating. This is really irritating.

Flash and Kali notice Kaneki before she does, and Maka only notices when she sees Kali scooting between them to put space there. Flash, of course, flatly stares and puts up his shield around Maka.]

Hey. This fight's a lot harder than the last one. No one told us hacked Pokemon existed.

(( it's my birthday and im gonna be busy the next day or so, so i'm only gonna do one toplevel scenario aaaaah! ))

GREEN ;;

[ Over in your standard Green Zone, there is a vast variety of horrible beasts vying for pieces of any human who happens to be up and about.

Except for ya boy Stan who is currently being run down by-- no, not a Magnechomp or a Tentadrill --but rather a rolling mob of DORBS. THEY ARE BOUNCING WITH RECKLESS ABANDON, OH NO. The circular birds are out for blood and while Stan has gotten by unscathed, his Pokemon are doing an awful job of keeping the stupid things back. ]

Oh Jeeze--

[ Misery the Meowth has been holding fast to her Master's shoulder and decides that she's GOING IN DEEP WHO CARES, launching herself at one of the Dorbs and sinking her teeth into its stupid-looking... head-body. The pack of Dorbs halts, rolling over on each other and giving his Duskull, Pumpkaboo, and Gastly a chance to descend upon them, along with an Eevee who takes on one of the bird-orbs on his own. ]

HAHA! There ya go! Get the little bastards!

[A...a dorb bounced right through her.

Good effort, dorb, but being partially Mismagius kinda...oh, never mind, one of Botan's Gengar (probably Wicked G) takes up the mantle of kicking the dorb around like a soccer ball.

This...well, who knew that a bipedal chubby cat ghost could juggle a ball so well?]

...Mr. Pines, are you all right there?

[Meanwhile, G has passed the ball over to his sister, who passes it to Batsu, who passes it to Aku. Apparently they are starting a Gengar-led dorb soccer match.]

Lust | OTA

A - Green

[Oh good god, no...]

[Lust had been spared any such catastrophes last year. Not this time. She finds herself on the island with dozens of others, still very much half Espurr and unable to stand upright or hold onto anything. She emits a psychic blast upon arrival, tumbling head over paws with fur puffed out like a purple cotton ball. Thankfully, she has a respectable team of Pokemon with her. Because she's in the grassy area full of aggressive fusions.]

[She stands on four paws in the center of her team, a cold horror inside of her at the sight of the creature that should not be. It's like something from some mad alchemist's deepest nightmares. She can barely stand, let alone fight! But she's not about to give up just due to anatomical deficiency. She has claws. She has teeth. She has pure psychic energy to blast and all of her considerable physical strength.]

[She can still put up a fight.]

B- Blue

[Battered and exhausted, Lust has dragged herself beyond the border of chaos and insanity. Her fur is dirty and matted and her hair is straggled and tangled and full of debris. Her team is looking all the worse for wear as well.]

[They've all taken quite a beating from the various fusions that swarm the grassy part of the island.]

Blue!

[At first Rise does not know what she's looking at. When she does... oh no! The most attractive person in all of Johto (in her eyes) was a furball... and a very messy furball.

She rushes over as fast as she can with these awkward legs that Gothorita's happen to have, kneeling down in front of the older woman.]

L-Lust? W-What happened? Do you need potions? Do you need a brush?

[Would you like Rise help you look a little more respectable?]

Rise - OTA

A - Blue

[Wow. How did she get here. Well, no matter, this isn't the first weird place she's ever been taken to.

Rise is at the docks, and even though she looks far from her normal self, the Gothorita fused idol is here to help! She'll be handing out healing items to anyone who needs them along with her other Pokémon helping.

Her Tyranitar, Pumpkaboo, and Mismagius will be cheering everyone on who's fighting by "singing" like their trainer as if this was a concert. Unfortunately, Rise does not have any earplugs with her, and seems immune to the noise.]

B - Green

[Rise's decided to join the action against the Fusion'mons. Riding on the back of her Tyranitar, she is charging into battle to cheer everyone on while letting the rest of her 'mons do some fighting.]

Come on everyone! We can do this~! Remember type weaknesses!

[That plan hits a snag when Kanji trips on one of the smaller Fusion Abominations, sending them both to the ground. Her Gardevoir catches her with her psychic abilities before her trainers hits the ground and may accidentally lift whoever else is in the immediate area up as well. Sorry about that!]

Whoa! It's like flying~

Green

[While Kaneki and Rikki have been tangling with fusions in the grass, they had been to preoccupied to notice Rise's arrival right away. Just as one of Kaneki's tentacles shoots out to grab hold of a snapping skull-faced fusion that had attempted to latch onto his leg, both of them find themselves lifted right off the ground by Rise's Gardevoir's psychic.

Kaneki doesn't dare let go of the wiggling, shrieking creature, holding it at arm's length while it snaps and snarls.]

R-Rise-san?!

A - Green
[Since it's the first time Perry's really been out since he first transformed fully. He's grown a few inches and looks a little more buff than he usually is. He's a lot more hairy with black and white hairs replacing his usual teal hair. However the most striking feature he had were the fangs he now had and that his eyes were completely black and stuck in a glaring look.

Despite that, he seems more annoyed at waking up here than anything else. Seriously this is not how he wanted to spend his day.

Just as he's about to get up to examine his surroundings he comes face-to-face with a rather terrifying looking Pokemon. Remembering how the last Pokefusion has treated him, he quickly grabs a Pokeball to protect him so that he doesn't somehow transform further.]

Uh, Candace?

[The Pyroar nods in understanding and starts attacking the Chancorb. However since she doesn't have a type advantage this might take awhile. Perry meanwhile is trying to encourage her and give her healing items in the meantime.]


B - Purple (technically starts out in Blue but there's not really an opening there)
[Well the last thing he wants to happen is for him and his Pokemon to get wiped out instantly, so after dodging more fusion Pokemon he pulls his Pokemon aside to a safe place to discuss the plan. He's going through all possible type advantages and possibly trying to figure out what's wrong with this weird glitch.

Suddenly though, his Pangoro just.... gets impatient and bolts to attack Mewssingno.]

Wait-!

[Sighs. Great, just how he wanted to start this battle. Perry signs for the Pokemon to follow him as they run to the purple area. He then calls to them to try to attack the Mewssingno but since he wasn't even able to finish his planning, it's not going super well yet.

And Petra might be trying to wrestle the glitchmon.]

B

[Wrestling the glitchmon is an excellent plan. Avenger the Banette approves.

The problem is that he shows his approval by cackling loudly, floating around Petra, and throwing around a Thunderbolt once in a while. For appropriately dramatic mood lighting, of course. He's aiming for the glitchmon, thankfully, but with all these redirected attacks maybe he'll hit the ground. Or nothing. Or someone.]

Twilight Sparkle | OTA

Blue:

"Alright everyone, let's review the plan!"

If anyone thought that being suddenly warped into battle against an unholy abomination against Arceus and its equally abominable spawn was going to stop Twilight Sparkle from drafting up a battle plan, they were incredibly wrong. She stood in the middle of a circle of her Pokemon, on top of her floating Magnezone. Pretty conspicuous, really.

"Spike, you've got point! Keep the area ahead of us open, and ensure that anyone charging in to battle the main thing can do so without getting held up! Starswirl, you're with me! You've got your usual objective, keep my orders relayed among the others and teleport in if they need support. Megasoma, you're on the left, Tower, the right! Keep them clear, and don't let anything get through to interfere with the trainers moving through! Pyrolepi, cover our rear. Tesla will be my base, so I can monitor the situation and provide support where needed. Questions?"

Her Pokemon just nodded. Twilight glanced at each of them in turn, smiled, and held up her fist to the sky.

"Let's do this then! Victory!"

The six Pokemon let out an uproarious cheer, and Twilight beamed at them. Her attention, however, was somewhat taken up by glancing around for other trainers, because her plan would work better with fellow planners...

Spotting someone, she hastily waved them over from the back of her Magnezone.

Green:

Resistance was stiff.

Twilight had deliberately held her team back from directly engaging the main target. Rather, she'd spread them out in the four cardinal directions, creating a safe zone for fellow trainers to stop and rest in or run through on their way to battle the main enemy, hopefully assuring they'd be able to take it on at full strength, or at least close to it. The problem was, this had made her into a target, and the glitch Pokemon were converging on her fiercely.

She had been prepared for that, though. From upon the back of her trusty Magnezone, her Alakazam at her side, Twilight watched, provided rear support, and relayed instructions as her Dragonite, Heracross, Tyranitar and Volcarona all fought fiercely to keep the safe zone... well, safe.

As someone ran into her zone, a fellow trainer, she called down from Tesla's back:

"Are you alright? You can rest here for a moment if you need to!"

This whole situation was downright ridiculous. Granted, sprouting wings was pretty cool at first, even if the way they burst through his back left him aching for several days. The scales were a bit itchier than he would've liked, and the claws made operating the 'gear a challenge. His flaming tail made sleeping awkward, and he'd nearly scorched his bed sheets before ultimately moving to the floor.

None of that mattered now, though, as getting dragged to a strange island flooded with even more freaky fusions proved that something greater was at work. So, when Twilight waved him over, he fluttered over, joined by good ol' Flare.

"Heh. You know, we really should've seen this coming." Everything spiraled into chaos during OCtober. It was inevitable, yet the whole situation still hit him like a freight train.

[Cecil's plan is simple: get to the heart of this madness, put that... whatever it is to sleep, and attack it until it stops. So of course, his plan fails.

It starts to collapse when he tells Rosie and Esuna to use their sleep-inducing moves, only for the Sleep Powder to fly right at him and for Rosie's singing to turn into this. It gets worse when Avenger's Shadow Ball hits its user right in the face and Lydia's Petal Blizzard turns into a harmless rain. It goes to hell when the ground surrounding him is frozen by a stray Ice Beam, only to be turned into a swamp by the Flamethrower that follows.

A heroic rescue would be greatly appreciated, guys.]

[For the record, Dio has not been enjoying his time in Pokemon land. First, he's here. Second, he's expected to be a good little Rocket. Third, trying to catch an Abra is like wandering into some sort of perpetual teleporting hell. Four, all hell breaks loose and he gets turned into this stupid ridiculous thing. Five, he gets warped to this stupid island and all hell is continuing to break loose.

And quite frankly, he has had about enough of this. Which is why the guy completely covered in Woobat fur is having his Zubat and Noibat use Supersonic, and then punching the nearest abomination in the face. Repeatedly. It's not any sort of Pokemon attack, and he's not sure how effective it is with the blue fur probably dulling some of the impact, but boy is he happy to vent his frustrations on something at the moment.

He's got this. He's totally got this. And then something like this steps into view and while he's still got this...]

Second, what looks like some bizarre cross between a hedgehog and an armadillo that for some reason became lanky rolling in and striking it across the face with its arms as the squirrel flutters away back from whence it came. The hedgedillo then firmly locks it in a hold.]

[Blue furred abomination, meet white furred abomination, Maka Absolbarn seems to be the one responsible for these Rodents of Unusual Size coming in and stealing the not-kill.

The hedgedillo, apparently Eowyn, obliges this command by flinging the Zutoise to scenic The-Hell-Away-From-Them.]

Of course October isn't just going to mean turning blue and gaining rabbit ears that can hear everything goddammit turn it down, which while an improvement over some things that October has wrought in years past (his mind is his own, and Elfy can't turn into him like this, which, while concerning for other reasons, is at least half a blessing) is still a pain. Of course it isn't going to end without a boss fight.

And all these things. (If he ever finds out who made these things, because they're too sudden and strange to not be experiments of some sort, the culprit is getting kicked where the sun doesn't shine, he resolves, because this can't be a good existence. And if it's anything like back home, how many must have died to produce even these...)

In the grass, by the stairs, you'll find him addressing his team, quickly, ears up to try and catch the sound of any assaults that might be coming.]

[The five mons addressed give cries of acknowledgement and run off in their assigned directions, Elfy transforming into Glen so as to have two Joltiks riding the Absol's fur. The Eeveelutions promptly pounce on a GenBlastUrsaSaur, while the other three run into a CarbBlastMortar. They'll have their paws full.

With a "Fairy?", Rose looks up at Ryner, wondering what her role is.]

[Though he's come over here, his Clefairy on his shoulder, Ryner has no intention of actually attacking the Final Boss.

No, he has every intention of snapping a photo. Not a selfie, what is a selfie to a mage who is still getting used to technology after five years, he's lucky he knows how to use the camera function. Just a photo, so that he can study it later, because seriously what is this.

...and also he might have the intention of leaving Mewssingno a Cheri Berry or two. As a peace offering, of sorts, and to see if it likes them.

It's dangerous, he knows, that's why he's got Rose with him. ...That and because she wouldn't let him do it without her, he knows. But given that he's never seen anything like this in any books (not that that's hard, with so many dead ends), somebody's got to document this, right?]

Ilya's cold command is obeyed with almost surgical precision, the towering forces of her Pokemon almost as frightening as the hybrids as they wade through the battle, smashing or tossing aside anything that gets in her way. As Ilya rides in the middle, mounted on her Rhyperior, the others flank her, creating a wedge that marches through the abominations relentlessly.

A ghostly aura flickers around her, and Ilya smirks wickedly as her Pokemon near the source of the madness. She's going to enjoy this...

Okay maybe she's not enjoying this as much as she'd thought.

The second she stepped into the area around the monstrosity, she found that gravity had suddenly reversed itself. Her and her Pokemon were now careening towards the sky.

This was bad enough, but once they'd been hurled into the air high enough, they hit some sort of teleportation spot and found themselves flung out behind the creature, landing in a massive heap on their sides.

Ilya was very happy for her part-ghostness at the moment. Hopefully they didn't actually land on anyone...

That is to say, Xion's own fluff as a half-Altaria abomination and her actual Altaria sitting next to her. Neither of them had much luck with confronting the Big Boss either and while Skye is used to things landing in his fluff, Xion is...more perplexed by it.

All right, Xion, just ask if the stone rhino that landed on you is okay, that's completely normal.

[Maka wasn't a huge fan of the idea of fighting the Pokemon directly, even if she technically is part Pokemon herself at this point and can. But come hell or high water or turning into an Absol abomination, she wasn't going to raise a Sucker Punch to a Pokemon, though they weren't doing her the same favor.

Some of them were so...ridiculous that she couldn't bring herself to be scared of them even if they were attacking. Kali, her Houndoom, drives the hoard of Diton off easily with a Flamethrower despite her trainer's hesitance at how ludicrous the opponent is. Maka seems more determined to get to the source of all this, that is to say, what's nagging at her heightened senses as causing all of this damn chaos and is trying all she can to move forward.

But there's hang-ups, of course.]

Nonon was in the middle of all this the last time everything went completely pear-shaped in this region; she knows it won't be the same this time around - Isaac isn't here, and that's still fucking her up a little, but the fact is that other people are and that's more than enough to get her out there, and if she's going to do this...well, she's going to do it as best she knows how.

...Namely, on top of a fucking Mamoswine, looking as boss as she can while covered in pink feathers, and flat out bowling shit over like this is the best day of her life.

It's when she actually goes to jump up onto Carmen's back that something gets her attention - a little pink monstrosity that is doing its damnedest to attack her and in actuality is just kind of...ineffectually bonking into her ankle. With its face.

She just kind of stares at it for a moment before she balls her fists and sets them on her hips, taking a moment to just sort of huff at the stupid little thing.]

Oh, come the hell on, I just feel sort of bad for you.

[...And that is how, if you choose to come across her later, she ends up sitting astride her murderpig and ramming the shit out of everything...with a completely majestic Mr. Pie up there with her, squirming like hell, being carried like a football, and acting like it's totally going to give her what-for as soon as she stops squeezing it so hard.]

[And you know what, she is going to be bringing Mr. Pie with her into the physics-defying hellscape because that is exactly what you do with a tiny terrified fusion thing that only knows how to completely ineffectually use Tackle.

As soon as she sees what's going on, though, she's quick to bring Cadence out as well; having a Psychic-type out seems like a good idea - maybe she'll be able to tell where the wormhole-type disturbances are going to be, maybe she'll be able to give Nonon some warning before she gets smacked in the head by an errant Hyper Beam -

...Or maybe she'll fall off the Mamoswine and disappear entirely to the other side of the field, because clearly today she's thinking with fucking portals or something and no one here can do anything right. Great.

Otherwise, though? Come on, we're going to be facing off against the abomination, one way or another; feel free to meet her and at least attempt to talk strategy. ...Or return her poor stupid cat, that would be nice too.]

Made a friend, I see.

[As is often the case during occasions like this, Carmen is in the air — which is only to be expected, considering she brought a veritable air force along with her — on the back of her Dragonite, her hair streaked with white where it's streaming out from beneath her hat, which itself is wearing a little oddly on account of the fact that she's now got to accommodate a pair of furry black wolf's ears beneath its brim. The coat and gloves do a fair job of helping to conceal the rest — like the way her palms are padded now, and her nails grown long into claws that extend out from where the tips of her gloves have been cut off, and the fact that with the way the back hem is hanging there's most likely a tail under there somewhere — so all in all she's doing a fair impression of humanoid at the moment, albeit a sort of fuzzy, werewolfish one.

Which makes for a quaint sight, with tiny Nonon atop her murderpig stampeding around with her Mr. Pie, and Carmen swooping in to hold steady next to her like she thinks her Dragonite is a speeder bike from Star Wars instead of an actual dragon.]

Keeping that one as a souvenir?

[You know, there are a lot of things that Tsukiyama never really thought he'd have to do in the name of pragmatism but has ended up doing in Johto anyway; after attempting to go into battle and promptly getting a massive amount of the fluff trailing after him whacked clean off by whatever the actual crap this thing has decided to be today, he can now add "find somewhere safe to sit down and braid massive amounts of really excellent-feeling cashmere so I can at least sort of control where it is at all times" to that list. Fortunately, the...thing seemed to have taken most of it off the tail as opposed to the parts of it around his neck; he'd promptly...well, had a moment of Really Excellent Priorities, picked up the two-foot-long strip of white that'd been sliced off, and then gotten out of dodge.

Fortunately enough, it doesn't seem that the hideous little things (or the hideous...large things...look he doesn't know what the flying hell this is but were he a weaker man it would probably be shriek-inducing) are terribly interested in pursuing him into this area; as such, he can find somewhere to just settle down, pull most of the inconvenient mock-boa around to one side, split them a little and braid the hell out of them.

...It's going to take a while.

But at the very least it gives him time to think, and when he's done with it he leaves it draped over his shoulder like that so he's a bit less difficult to grab from behind, and that just leaves the long portion that's been whacked off to deal with. It's a shame, really, given how soft it is -

What he ends up doing with it isn't quite braiding, but it is knotting it around itself a few times, effectively balling it up such that it'll keep its shape; he keeps glancing up at that Mewssingno as he does so, clearly he's got some semblance of an idea...]

[You know what, if Pokéworld has taught Tsukiyama literally nothing else, it's that Pokémon like toys. They like soft things, they like stuffed animals, they're easily distracted by featherdusters and they really, really like bouncing yarnballs off their heads.

This isn't quite a yarnball, so chances are this thing is going to have no idea what the heck it is that he's trying to do, but it's a close enough approximation that maybe this sort of thing is going to work. And that thing over there is a Pokémon, so maybe...]

Monsieur, I really do hope you're at least vaguely like the others here - and if you don't like bouncing things off of your head, I'll ask you kindly to not take off mine.

[This is just what Blake needed.

No, really, it is. He's had a hell of a past few days. He got bit by a bear, and now he's a hulking slab of fur, claws, and bad temper. He's kicked off his shoes a while back. His nails were shredding them anyway. His shirt strains to stay on over his broadened shoulders and the thick fur poking through the spaces between buttons.

He's in a lousy mood, and it's going to get taken right out on this swarming wad of bees and poison beach balls. Blake snarls, gets down on all fours, and launches himself at the thing. The slam into his shoulder is pure satisfaction.

Steve the Snubbull is bounding beside him and having a wonderful time. She's always tried to tell him that it's much easier to move fast when you use all your legs. They're both going to romp around, roaring and beating the crap out of any monstrosity in their way.]

[Until they head for the biggest, weirdest freak of them all.

Blake rears back on his hind legs and bellows] Hey! Asshole! Get over here and fight like a man!

[It doesn't seem to pay much attention to him. Blake picks up a rock and flings it at the thing. The sun gets in his eyes, and he squints for a second. Then the rock hits him in the back of his own head.

His snarl of confusion and rage is underlined by the delicate hiss of his Ludicolo shaking its maracas.

[It's not a human voice that calls his name, but the cheery tune of a Chatot. To his right is the culprit, perched on an Arcanine's head right between the ears. After a moment, from behind it, Red pokes her head up. Her lower half is a complete tail from where it pokes out from beneath a short dress, and it's wrapped tight.]

[Slithering, as it turns out, is hard as hell.]

[If there's one thing Micchy takes seriously, it's training his Pokemon with extreme precision, expecting them to take orders when he gives them in a battle situation. This... this was not intended by the higher-ups, he's sure, and he has no shame in instructing his team to rip them apart.]

[Claws slash, fire and water and ice ripping into the strange Pokemon around, and even Micchy himself is entering the battle. His hulking Chesnaught armor makes him look bigger than he is, and now that he's got a bit more confidence in how he is he's wading in to punch at a Warchoke or two.]

[Micchy and his Pokemon have been fighting for a little while, and they're kind of exhausted. That's especially evident because Micchy is currently tending to his knocked-out Onix, who used Explosion to clear out some Ratchuottos.]

It'll be okay, Setsuko. I think I have a Revive here... Isamu, can you get that for me?

[The Lucario nods and digs through the bag while Micchy pats the Onix gently. He'll need to heal her afterwards, but... well. He'll see what his supplies are like.]

So even when you're covered with fur and kept warm by the FIRE OF MAGIC DESTINY! burning within, you can still get colds. It sucks. Heather is honestly THIS CLOSE to shoving the entire box of tissues STRAIGHT UP this stupid little red fox nose, so help her Arceus.

The Braixen-human abomination had been sitting rather miserably in her hotel room (yeah, that Ice Path trip had been indefinitely delayed until she was no longer indiscriminately shooting sparkly fire everywhere every time she sneezed), bleary-eyed, when it happened.

Another sneeze coming on.

GREAT.

Grimacing, she grabbed for the tissue box and prepared for the worst.

"A... ahh... atCHEUU!"

WHEW.

Okay, that felt MUCH better.

Now where was that kleene-- THIS IS NOT HER HOTEL ROOM. AND THAT IS NOT ANYTHING THAT SHOULD EXIST ANYWHERE, EVER.

"JESUS!"

Tail flicking like an agitated squirrel, Heather springs in the air, kicks up a small cloud of dirt and turf in her haste, and BOLTS. Running away. RUNNING AWAY VERY FAST.



PROMPT B: Return of the Supreme Court | Green Area

Around twenty minutes later, Heather has largely adjusted to the situation. She usually does. Randomly popping into unexpected locations full of horrifying monstrosities? What can she say, it's like riding a bike.

And if anyone who witnessed her leap five feet into the air and scamper away from that Poryta like her butt was on fire mentions it, she will light your clothes on fire. Ahem.

Standing on her comically tiny fox feet a little more securely now, Heather faces the Poryta in front of her with an expression of GRIM DETERMINATION. Her ears are slicked back and everything. There is a Pokeball in her little white paw. She tosses it once, then slings it forward with all the confidence of someone who knows they are sending out their Croconaw to douse the unearthly flames of this eldritch creature in front of them.

In a blinding, majestic flash of white light appears a single Mightyena, busily licking itself with one leg sticking proudly into the air.

Heather gapes, then looks down at the ball in her paw.

That... that was definitely Zilla's... no. She must have... grabbed the wrong one? OKAY WHATEVER. This one was his, she was sure of it!

"GO, Zilla!"

Another flash.

Another Mightyena.

The pastel-colored, bug-eyed horse flickered curiously from its spot in the tall grass, watching as a series of pops and flashes revealed more and more of the shaggy Dark-Types, until finally Heather was surrounded by a small army of cheerful, wagging Mightyenas.

The outraged, indignant scream could be heard echoing around the entire island, amplified by Heather's brand new vulpine vocal chords.

"GOD DAMN IT, SHERIFF!!!"

Envy has been having some issues fighting this thing. His Pokemon were helping, of course, but he wanted to fight this thing HIMSELF, too. He'd assumed that being a Dark-type would help...all he'd have to do to use an attack is bite it, right?

Turns out, that's easier said than done.

As Heather runs, Envy tumbles right out of a psychic wormhole that he'd fallen into on his way to Bite The Thing, right into her. Indignantly yelping.

"Really?!"
