Summary: Rival Yoh would like to battle and subsequently kick your sorry tsun butt !!!

Sigh. So now that he had been dropped into this strange world, the objective was to make these strange creatures fight each other? Tsukiko was right; it did sound a little off-putting.

But of course, that isn't going to stop Yoh, According to this manual he just finished reading, "Pokemon battles" were the norm in this world. In that case, what could be the harm in giving it a try? Besides; this was Kanata he was going to battle. He could kick his ass while satisfying his curiosity. Ah, killing two birds with one stone was great.

He's waiting on Route 29 for Kanata, flipping through the manual again to get a final grasp on the basics. This should be interesting.

It took him a good hour to dig around in the bag he was given to find a map. Last he knew, he was just...actually, he had no idea. There was some grass and some trees. Houses too. Upon finding the map though, he realized that there was pretty much only one way out of the town anyhow.

The map was in some kind of manual that he didn't want to read. Why read when he can just walk around and figure stuff out? So now he's on Route 29, kind of mystified by the scenery and landscape. That is, until he sees the face of the sheer, inglorious, French evil that is Yoh Tomoe.

He stops as soon as he spies him, feeling a tiny swell of nervousness somewhere within, though it's quickly trampled on by the reared head of his ever present pride. They were supposed to have some kind of fight, huh? Kanata is absolutely positive he's going to win; there is no telling him otherwise.

"Ehehe, Yoh~! You about ready to get your ass kicked?"

With another sigh, he hears that obnoxious, loud voice calling his name. Maybe this was a bad idea; he was enjoying the peace and quiet so much. He shuts the manual, tossing it next to his bag.

"I was about to ask you the same thing, really. I think we both know who's going to triumph in this competition."

He does one of those girly hair-flick things and smirks, just to see if he gets riled up. Kanata was just too easy to set off sometimes.
