Easter Event - Pokémon Egg Hunt! [ NOW OPEN ]
Who: Anybody in the vicinity! You don't have to participate or catch eggs to post or tag a thread here!
Where: the National Park
When: Friday, April 22nd through Monday, April 25th
Rating: PG! PG-13 at the most, please!
Summary: The Easter Festival Pokémon Egg Hunt! THERE ARE STILL LOTS OF EGGS LEFT. Feel free to claim more eggs, the limit to three eggs has now been lifted, so you can now get as many as you want.
※ AN UPDATE ON THE EGGS ※
It's the morning of Easter Friday, and the officers of Goldenrod are up and working on this fine, fine holiday morning, making sure their vans were properly running for a long weekend of driving trainers back and forth between the city and the National Park. Oh boy. When the first trainers arrive, they'll start driving them in groups of four or five to the Park. It's a three hour ride and the radio plays some upbeat tune during it.
Once there, trainers would find that booths are set up at the front of the park: one handing out baskets for eggs to be gathered in; some selling food such as hot dogs, corndogs, and other easy-to-eat foods and drinks; others selling hats, visors, bandannas, sunglasses, and toy fans. The NPC vendors are cheerful and energetic, and they'll greet trainers enthusiastically all day, all weekend! There's even a nice shady area of tables with hard-boiled and fake eggs, tempera paint provided as well, for those who wish to decorate their own eggs.
The park itself looks no different, perhaps because the long grass hides the eggs that are scattered around there. The fountain in the middle, it seems, has some plastic goodie bags floating in it - is it litter? No! The bags have plastic Easter eggs nestled inside, and while searching for Pokémon eggs, trainers might come across more plastic eggs containing candies and goodies.
Let the fun begin!

Even if you are not currently located in Goldenrod and cannot make it to said city or the National Park over this weekend, Cassie (Sebastian, Quistis, Niou, Marco, Rarity mun) has offered to accept delivery requests of eggs to other parts of Johto. That means - YES - even if you cannot personally make it to the event, her characters, who are currently in Goldenrod ( Marco and Niou, maybe? ) will catch something at request and deliver it for you!
So even if you are ALL THE WAY IN CHERRYSTUCK, you can get an egg, so feel free to go claim one at the above link and enter the following information:
Your name
Egg Type [ Trainer who donated the egg ]
The city you are currently in
And that is all! Now onto the actual log!

... yo, do I actually need this?

[sup Beat. British loli will help you.]

[although, now that you mention it, he did notice there were eggs sitting around. He just thought maybe it was pokemon mating season 8|]

[Judging from your mannerisms, she is just taking a guess.]
no subject
[he is also taking a guess, judging by her blond princess curls...]

Easter is mostly a religious type of holiday, but it also includes feasts and fun games! Egg hunts is one of those games where you find eggs with candy and treats inside!
[More of a nobleman's daughter than a princess, but very close.]

... She just... has to move first. ]
no subject
She notices Kisa soon, standing there by herself. She goes over to make sure she's okay.]
Hey, you okay?

no subject
Man she's creepy.]If you're sure.
Would you like to look for eggs together?

no subject
W-well, it's up to you, really! If you don't want to, I understand.

They're pretty friendly, and get along with pretty much anyone.

.....I just need to teach them manners.

[She looks out to the park, and sees all the people.]
Do you want to start looking for eggs now?

She's got a thing for sleeping on heads.

You know, if you're just gonna stand there like that, people are gonna start thinkin' you're a statue.
no subject
[ ever see a little kid jump like three feet into the air? ]

So what does finding eggs have to do with Easter anyway?
no subject
Beats me, but come on, it'll be fun! Now and then we need a bit of fun that doesn't threaten our lives and you know it.
no subject
Hell of a lot more interesting than I remember Easter being. And free stuff is one thing these festivals and holidays are always good for.
[He smirks.] Bet people have been dropping things while they're digging around in the grass too.
no subject
Yep. People are idiots, but hey - [smirk] that makes our jobs easier.
[So not going to bother with a basket and stuff, he gestures vaguely at the ... enormous park.]
I think we better split up for this.
no subject
[He smiles. Miguel loves the outdoors, okay. Even moreso now that it's WARM and not horribly cold snow everywhere]
no subject
So he thinks.]But if we're going to split up, then... [He surveys the park consideringly, before pointing at the area near the fountain.] I'll start over there.
[He does briefly glance back at Tulio for approve/deny, though.]
no subject
Oh, them eggs.Tulio looks over at where Envy points before nodding his consent.]Yeah. Okay. Just make sure you don't drown. [Because you two are masters of getting into trouble - nevermind the whole poisoning episode, that wasn't Tulio's fault, it was a deranged Spinarak. He is feeling much better from that though, but still just a little weak. That entire ordeal was exhausting.]
I'll go this way [indicates near where they're standing] - Miguel ... that tall grass. [The northern end of the park, in other words, as he points out. Miguel you are better at eventual pokemon that might attack in that grass and also more likely to stumble on anything in it than us other two, you lucky bastard.]
no subject
[He releases the smallest of his Pokémon (a 4.7 ft tall Gabite) because Tall Grass = wild Pokémon, and also because Search Help and Company is always nice]
no subject
[But time to get on with the valuables hunting! Envy heads on over to that fountain. He saw those bags floating in the water, and he's interested to find out what's in them. So he starts reaching into the fountain to grab them and see what's inside...hey, candy! Not terribly valuable, but a good find for him.]

Snake wasn't usually one for festivals, but he didn't have anything else to do anyway. Might as well waste some time with the people than sit around being bored out of his mind.
He thought briefly of which Pokemon to let wander around for the festival-- Solid was with Heather traveling to Violet, and Snubbull was in one of the PC boxes. That left him with Sunny, MkIII, Chicken, Surskit and Marlboro. Considering they weren't too big, he knelt down, taking out all five balls and tossing them in the air, allowing each Pokemon to emerge. They cried out with enthusiasm, enjoying the bright sun on their backs.]
Go play. Just... don't cause a scene.
