"Ah... the days of my youth, like the scent of fresh lemon."
Who: Yu Narukami Souji Seta and Miles Edgeworth
Where: Once upon a time, there was a playground in Goldenrod.
When: April 28th, in the afternoon.
Summary: Miles thinks he's too old to play at playgrounds. Soujifourthwalls disagrees and yells objection drags him to one.
Rating: G! Or PG, for mild frightening of little children by teenage boys.
[ Until fourth grade when Phoenix and Larry snatched the book out of his hand and dragged him, yelling and protesting, to the park in their neighborhood and made him play on the playground with them, Miles Edgeworth spent his life reading. Sometimes, Gregory would be home early or stay home (say, for Miles' birthdays) and take him to a museum or to the movies, but the young boy had never been interested in slides, or swings, or sandboxes, or anything of the sort.
In fact, outside of his school's Physical Education program, that soccer game in Azalea was the only time where Miles willingly kicked around a ball to play.
Such a boy always had a book in his bag, maybe a notebook to write in... the one he'd received from Professor Layton in December is already well-used, for the boy had been using it to make sure he wasn't forgetting anything he learned at school or from his tutors in Germany. Today, too, as he's walking after his Charmander and Squirtle, he's looking for somewhere quiet for the Pokémon to play while he sits down on a bench and studies. ]

LET'S GET DOWN TO BUSINESS TO DEFEAT /THE SWINGS/
Of course, that has changed after a while and he has stayed home reading or going on the swings a bit during recess.
He hasn't done anything similar in playing in a playground for years with anyone else, though after his year stay in Inaba, he has been getting around to it. He thinks it'll be nice to bring his team out here to Goldenrod's park one day if they all have the free time.
Souji locks the door of the breeding centre, double checking if its locked before deciding to head back to the inn. He's closing early today since he just kinda needs a break from all the orders coming in. He can deal with them tomorrow morning when he's not as sick of seeing eggs at this moment. Besides, his Jynx seems rather happy in taking care of the eggs with his Cleffa and Dragonair. They know how to send out orders if they receive any by a call over the centre's gear.
Walking with his Charizard, Blastoise and Venasaur (obviously taking up space on the streets due to their large size but Goldenrod is quite used to that by now from everyone else), he tries to make his way to his hotel but happens to notice his "little sister" sitting by on a bench. Well, might as well say hello before heading home.
Souji walks on over and tries to look somewhat at whatever Miles is working on. ]
Studying out here, Miles?
DID THEY SEND ME "SISTERS" WHEN I ASKED... FOR BROS?
And boy, he hasn't seen this teenage boy ever since Nanako went home. He'd visited Mr. Dojima and made him drink tea, talked to him a little... but Souj? Souji he'd seen on the network, but he hasn't.. spoken to him.
So he feels a little mixed today upon seeing him again - it's nice to see him! But at the same time... urk, Nanako.
Let's settle for a smile for now, to be polite. ]
Hello, Mr. Souji.
YOU'RE THE CUTEST THING I'VE EVER MET AND YOU CAN BET BEFORE WE'RE THROUGH
Right now, he rather prefer to keep on a more positive attitude then be reminded by Nanako. So, he just places on a smile and ignores the fact that he still has the letter in his breast pocket. ]
Just Souji is fine. You're going to make me feel old with the 'Mister'.
SISTER I'LL... MAKE A MAN... OUT OF YOUUUU
Souji, then. How are you?
