It's my fault that you've been put through this........
Who: Conan Edogawa and Shiho Miyano
Where: Violet City - their hotel room
When: May 4th.
Summary: After nearly dying, hardly sleeping, and staying away from food, Shiho finally made a permanent antidote to the APTX 4869.
Rating: G/PG
Log: It.....had been a long few weeks. But considering Shiho never really looked at a clock, calender, or anything like that, she couldn't actually tell. She had been far too focused on something crucially important.
Making an antidote.
Who knew that it could be found in a children's chemistry set, and some poison from a Pokemon? It made getting poisoned and nearly dying almost worth it. After all, Kudou-kun had been through much worse. And much more risky situations. For what he had done for her, Shiho didn't think he deserved it. She was able to get her body back, and she thought it fair to let the same happen to him.
After mixing a few more chemicals in test tubes, making a few more notes, and examining them under a microscope, she came across something. The antidote was ready. Not only that, but this one was going to be permanent. Kudou-kun could return to his true body. Although incredibly exhausted, Shiho couldn't help but feel excitement. But she also felt worried. What if something went wrong, and he didn't get his body back? Shiho didn't want to make things worse for him.
No, no. Push those thoughts away. It will be fine.

Sometimes he wondered what reason she had for trying so hard and working so hard for him. Sure, by extension he had protected her from harm until now, but she'd done for him just as much. Was it just because she was a chemist and it was her pride to be able to make an antidote even here?
He would never be able to understand women.
"--Really?!"
On his first step into the room after running about to get medicines, he already dropped everything he was carying to run to her side. After a brief glance at the pill, he focused on her face and frowned at the dark bags under her eyes and how pale she looked.
"... Shiho, you look horrible. I told you to get some rest."

And everything she had done to him.
"Yes. I know it will work." She tries to push away her worrying doubts. But she always has to be at least a little pessimistic.
In response to his comment on her appearance, she simply brushes that aside.
"I'm fine. And I did rest for a bit." An hour, maybe two at most.

"You're supposed to rest more than that." And he begins to pull her out of the chair. This body is really inconvenient. "C'mon, let's get you in bed. I'll drink the antidote after I get some color on your face."

It's also not easy to pull someone three feet taller than you out of a chair.
"Take it now, then I'll get some rest. It's not like you can make me get into bed the way you are now, anyway. I can always rest after you've taken it."
