Meeting up with the obnoxious little silver-haired teenagers. 8|

Who: Xanxus, Superbi Squalo, and Killua Zoldyck.
Where: Outskirts of Goldenrod, near the Route 34 entrance.
When: May 1st, afternoon.
Summary: After finally managing to catch up to Xanxus in Goldenrod, Squalo informs him of their arrival and Bel's disappearance. Apparently Killua has a gift for him, as well, so Xanxus decides to go meet them as they arrive. Unenthusiastically, of course.
Rating: PG-13 for inevitable swearing and whatnot.
Log:

After spending just about the entire day laying around in bed, Xanxus glanced over at the clock on his night table and figured it was about time to roll out and put on something decent so he could go meet the brats. They never said exactly what time they would be there, but they were bound to show up soon anyhow. He would have gotten a message from one of them if they were already there. Once he got the willpower to get out of bed, he threw on his suit (yes, he bought a new one), put on his belt, and grabbed his PokéGear and room key before heading out the door and to the Route 34 entrance of Goldenrod.

Xanxus sent out his Mamoswine and made himself comfortable on top of him as he waited for the two teens to show up. There was no way he was actually going to sit on the ground, that's just disgusting. Fame didn't really seem to mind, since Xanxus picked a waiting spot that had a berry tree growing right next to them. The perpetually hungry Pokémon just snacked on berries as Xanxus kept his eye out for two heads of silver hair. They better not keep him waiting for too long.

The two silverheads weren't particularly hard to spot, always preceded by the sound of the Onix plowing through the ground. Squalo's mood, that had darkened slightly since Bel's disappearance and that he'd curiously made up for with fiercer training and nastier humor, had improved since leaving the forest: after all, now the city was near, and Xanxus with it.

Once they'd closed in, audible over the sound of grinding rocks was Squalo's voice. ...of course.

Squalo waved, hopped off Litico and ran the rest of the way to Xanxus, backpack slung over one shoulder.

For once the smaller silverhead was relaxing by taking small nap on Litico. Squalo overall attitude was understandable to Killua. He wouldn’t know how to feel if he was as close to the lazy prince as his big brother. So when Squalo mood pick up, he was happy for him. Yet the source of the mood changer was Uncle Asshole.

At the ‘VOI’, Killua was up and following after Squalo, pouting all the way.

That got an audible scoff out of Squalo. ...of course. The bastard really hadn't changed, eighteen years or no. So he slowed and let Kil get that out of the way, instead returning Litico to his pokéball, finally watching them both with a hand on his hip.

"Impatient asshole" he mutters softly, before grabbing a certain pokéball from his bag. He tosses it over to Xanxus.

"You better take good care of him"

Whether or not Xanxus said anything, Squalo caught the hints well enough for them to return the grin to his face. Even Killua's annoyed remark managed to amuse him. They really were related, weren't they?

"Voooi, let's get going! If this city is one you haven't gotten sick of, I wanna see it. Unless there's something else?"

Because Squalo wouldn't demand things of his boss, that'd be incredibly bad form. But there was nothing new to report, and no business matters to settle that he knew of.

He knew he wasn’t getting any praise but it was good to know that the bastard didn’t have any complaints for once. He wasn’t going to push his luck just yet, he’ll wait until he's settled to start annoying the hell out of the guy. Exploring someplace new always came.

“Exploring this place will be really interesting. I can’t wait to try the game center.” Hurray for no age restrictions on gambling.

Scoffing at Killua's impatience, but still grinning, Squalo followed Xanxus into the city. He couldn't help notice how the background music changed to accomodate the new surroundings, green meadows instantly giving way to tall buildings and concrete, and his steps quickening to keep up with his Boss.

"I'm not sure if you at a game center is a really good or a really bad idea, Kil."
