Who: Adam Monroe and OPEN
Where: Route 29, just outside of Cherrygrove City
When: Around lunchtime
Summary: Adam is outside training with his new Pokémon that hatched a few days ago.

Adam had been on the outskirts of Cherrygrove training up his Pokémon. He thought that if he was going to challenge the gym in Violet City his team needed to have at least some strength behind it. Today's student was his newly hatched Teddiursa, Peter.
To Adam's surprise, Peter seemed to be quite good at fighting; He followed Adam's instructions and that was always a good thing. What he didn't like however was the fact that after his fight with the wild Pidgey, Peter came running towards him looking for a reward for his good deeds. The little bear launched himself at Adam, scratching him in the process.
It shocked Adam a bit at first, he knew his ability was not present here but to actually see himself bleed and it not heal immediately was quite fascinating.
Peter cried and shook Adam from his stupor, he smiled down at him "We'll make a fighter out of you yet." Adam sat down and retrieved a cloth from his bag to wipe the blood from his hands. "Ready for more?"
The Teddiursa nodded.
