[ She really really really never expected this to happen.
Yes, she felt guilty. Yes, she was sorry. Yes, she was so so so grateful to Jumpy, but that's how it was supposed to stay -- a silent thankful bond between them. Nothing more, nothing less. They were supposed to become strangers, and just... stay away from each other. That was the plan.
Unfortunately, June didn't have a morphic field to look into the future for this one.
She hesitates -- but she knows she's already lost this battle.
