Where: Goldenrod City – Yu and Yuudai’s breeding centre
When: Night time – about 9:30 PM
Summary: While everyone inside the centre is getting ready to close up, head to bed, etc, the two Gyarados belonging Kagami and Souji attacks the centre’s left wing of the second floor. Mass destruction, rooms destroyed, small fires starting, people screaming, Pokemon eggs in trouble. Let’s Survive.

The breeding centre of Goldenrod City follows a very usual schedule.

At nine am, Yu and Yuudai’s centre opens. At a quarter after twelve is lunch where everyone can take a break while either the centre closes for an hour or there’s shifts taken to watch front counter. The same happens with dinner at half past six. Then finally, at ten is when everything is closed. All orders are placed for the next day and everyone is allowed to head back to their rooms for the night. All of the eggs are checked on upon closing and the Pokemon that are let out from the employees at the centre are either allowed to sleep inside, outside, or in their balls.

It is all to a normal day to the centre and tonight is no different.

It’s 9:30 PM and in just thirty minutes, the business is closed for the night. Normally, everyone is allowed to leave to whatever business they have whenever it’s to head to their rooms on the second floor, head back to their hotel rooms, go shopping, whatever. Souji is the one that usually locks up and makes sure everything is fine, which this night is for now.

That is, until loud roars can be heard from outside, easily able to at least make someone wince from it or wake someone that has gone to bed early. If that doesn’t wake them up or alert them that something is terribly wrong, suddenly, everything begins to shake.

On the second floor of the left wing of the bedrooms, suddenly everyone in those rooms will suddenly find their roofs looking as if it will start to crumble at any second. Perhaps some parts have already fallen or perhaps that wall you have once had has suddenly disappeared. Whatever it is, your room is becoming destroyed and it’s coming apart.

On the second floor of the right wing, things will be falling and tumbling. Perhaps the Hyper Beams of the Gyarados have at least damaged the roof of your own room, though nothing as serve on the left side. While those with their rooms there might be safe, they might not be for long because… is that smoke in the air? Anyone that has been around a fire will surely recognize this smell and who knows where this fire is starting. Wherever it is, it is probably best not to stick around if it grows larger and traps anyone.

On the first floor of the centre, the ceiling lamps above will swing and the open windows that Souji likes to keep open on warm days will suddenly welcome in large winds of dust from the destruction upstairs. Loud sounds of things falling can be heard upstairs and suddenly, the ceiling for the first floor doesn’t look as safe.

It will take no genius to notice that something is attacking the centre and with deadly force.

Quickly, get out.

Get out and survive.

Here’s a map of the second floor and where everyone’s rooms are that are staying at the centre which has been chosen by the muns! See where that Gyarados is? It’s attacking actually the empty room, Rise’s, and Yosuke’s at this point. The room with the eggs? Well, everyone better hurry and get over there to save them before they’re all flatten.

[ Souji have been climbing the stairs to the second floor to check up on the eggs, when the Gyarados have attacked sending the entire centre into a sudden tumble of destruction. He nearly falls down the steps if he hasn't grabbed onto the railing and he shields his eyes from the sudden wave of debris from plaster dust flying everywhere. The smell of smoke and the sounds of something falling engulfs him almost instantly. ]

[ He stands still on the steps for a whole second, almost as to process what is happening but he begins to rush up the stairs onto the second floor. ] Yosuke--! Rise--

[ Before he could call out any more names, entering the second floor's hallways hits him with a fog of smoke and dust. He coughs into his hand and covers his mouth with his sleeve. It's hard to see, much less breathe, but he has to find everyone. Even if it means he's coughing up a storm up here. ]

[Everything was just going very smooth until the ceiling started to shake. Elizabeth was tired and she isn't really fond of helping out in night. This is her first job after all and a lady shouldn't be working at all. However, Souji was her friend and he needed the help. So why not.]

[She was just about to ask Souji about taking a break so she can catch up with her mother, but everything is shaking and cracking that she moves away from the front desk. The scent of smoke is strong.]

[Only to scream and run when part of the ceiling nearby breaks and falls near the desk.]

S-Souji! [Elizabeth picks up the ends of her dress and dashes as fast as she could up the stairs. The dirty air, however, made her cover her mouth and nose the more she climbs the stairs. Her eyes squint at the dust, but the shadow of the other male was near.]

[ Souji immediately turns around at the call of his name. Who is it-- ]

Elizabeth! [ He takes a single step down the stairs to get closer, still covering his mouth and nose as much as he can with his sleeve. The sense of fear and worrying quickly creeping up upon him. ] You need to get out right now.

[She coughs some more, another shake rattling the stairs.]

I-I was just about to say that to you! [A small, annoyed huff but it's not the time.]

The ceiling is cracking and everything is falling apart!

[She carefully steps down a few steps, ready to just run and get out. Not until Souji gets out too once he gets everyone else.]

[ Souji's eyes widen and suddenly, that wave of fear and worrying has increased three times in size. ]

I need to make sure everyone and the eggs get out fine. You head out first.

Souji! Is that you?!

[There's a shout coming from the egg room and it kinda sounds like... it's raining over there? Daisuke has his Zangoose out, who's using Rain Dance. However, because of its inexperience with the move, it only covers a small area. Daisuke, at this point, doesn't really care about getting wet. Actually, he thought it was better to be drenched among the fire that's been consuming the building.

He also has his Girafarig out, who has Daisuke's jacket in its mouth, shaped like a bag. He's been placing the eggs one by one, but it obviously didn't fit all of them, maybe three or four at most. There were still tons of eggs that needed to get out. After securing the eggs, Girafarig started to make its way out of the breeding center, bypassing Souji and going downstairs.]

[ Souji stares in surprise at the Girafarig passing by him with what seemed to be a makeshift sling and carrying a bundle of eggs with it. Almost immediately does he realize that the eggs are in danger and that it's best to get them out. ]

[ He quickly tries to get towards the left hallway but only stops when the smoke gets so incredibly heavy. He crotches down and lets out a coughing fit. He catches onto his breath soon and yells back; ] Daisuke! Where are you right now?! [ He has a good idea from that Girafarig but in this case, never assume. ]

I'm in the room where the eggs are! [He tries his best to shout and not inhale smoke at the same time, which was proving to be difficult. He coughs once, noticing a loose flank that was about to hit some eggs.]

Quick Attack!

[Zipping past the eggs, Zangoose hits the loose flank away from the eggs, safeguarding them. Then he releases his Skarmory, Trapinch, and Ditto. After giving them specific directions, Ditto turns into a huge blob safety net, Daisuke puts as much eggs in there as he could, Trapinch bites at the ends to make it look like an actual net, and Skarmory finally lifts the Trapinch up by flying through the nonexistent ceiling... in an area where the Gyarados are not located.]

[ Souji pulls the hem of his shirt, covering his mouth and nose the best of his ability. He needs to head over to the room where Daisuke are with the eggs, but before he could even get past Yosuke's door, a sudden shake over takes the whole second floor. ]

[ The Gyarados just decided to blow another hole in the empty room, next to the room with the eggs and Rise's. A new wave of plaster dust flies everywhere and things beginning to crumble. ]

[ Souji finds himself having to jump back just in time before a pile of rubble coming down onto him. He leans against the wall and yells out once again; ] Are you alright?! [ He coughs, inhaling more smoke than wanted. ]

[ kagami had been spending time in her room before the shaking had begun. at first, she thought the shaking was just an earthquake, but then her ceiling cracked. ]

[ she stared at the crack in her ceiling horrified, and quickly realized that this shaking wasn't an earthquake and it certainly wasn't stopping anytime soon. with this realization, she leaps up ]

[ she pulls her door open only to be immediately struck with a wave of smoky air, pulling her face into the crook of her arm, she starts looking around for anyone else. ]

H-Hey! Souji?

[ Souji turns his head towards the call of his name, looking-- or the best he can through smoke --down the right hallway. That voice, it belongs to-- ]

Kagami! Are you alright so far?! [ He then goes back to coughing into his sleeve, inhaling more smoke than he has wanted. ]

[ kagami keeps her face as securely as possible in the crook of her arm, so her shouts are rather muffled ]

I'm fine! But what the hell is happening?

[ He crotches down onto the floor and begins to cover to his mouth with his shirt. ]

No idea, but can you get to the stairs right now?!

[ how it went from brushing her Flareon to having the wall explode is something Rise can't really explain. What would have been a scream is choked with dust and smoke-induced coughs, and then--

-- the ceiling caves in.

Thirty seconds later, one dazed and pinned idol is flat on her stomach and trying to squirm free of one particularly large section of... er, fallen room, with a frantic Flareon's assistance. Please hold, she'd prefer not to die today. ]

[ Souji's one main concern for the left hallway's is if Rise, Yosuke, and the eggs are safe. From what he can see and figure out so far, something is going on in that side of the centre and that the attack isn't going to stop. ]

[ Making a left turn from the stairs, he is hit by just how much heavier the smoke is. He stops himself and crouches down, trying to focus on how to breathe, telling himself to breathe in through the nose and out the mouth. He hacks into his sleeve and once he manages to at least find some wind him in, he calls out again; ]

Rise! Yosuke! Are you alright?! [ He stops right there and once again, find himself trying to remember how to breathe properly. ]

[ even with her ears ringing and something wet trickling down her forehead - blood? - Souji's voice is unmistakable. Luckily for Rise, she's so close to the floor that she's not having as much trouble with the smoke yet. Unluckily, she's still short of breath and it takes her a minute to work up a decent volume, while Pepper streaks out of the room and towards Souji. He's just fine, though he is worried, circling around the boy in an attempt to herd him towards his trainer. ]

S-Senpai--??

[ Souji nearly jumps back out of pure instant when the Flareon runs up to him, circling him. It doesn't take him long to realize that it's Rise's. While he doesn't hear its trainer, he kneels down and pulls up his shirt to cover his mouth and nose. ]

Where is she right now? Can you lead me to her? [ Because for all Souji knows, Rise can be not in her room. ]

[ Pepper yips affirmation, circling around again and taking point-- sure enough, Rise is in her room, doing everything in her power to wriggle free from her current position. ]

[Yosuke was so tired from working both jobs that falling asleep was the only thing he could think of after closing. Doing just that? Kind of a bad idea.]

Only barely waking up at the building's intense rumble, he scurries to get all of his Pokémon back in their balls and tossing them in his backpack before stumbling out of the room - in nothing more than his t-shirt and boxers.]

[The smoke and debris is filling his lungs as he does so, coughing intensely as he tries to make his way to the stairs, freaking out in between chokes.]

Crap-- Crap! What the-- [Choking a bit.] Souji, what the he--

Crap, Ris-- [Choking some more] Rise--! Are you guys okay!? What the-- [Doubling over to choke some more. Well, fuck.]

[oh god oh god Daisuke can hear somebody nearby as he was ushering his Girafarig, who was holding some eggs in a jacket it has in its mouth, along, leading it to go downstairs, but when he heard Yosuke, the familiar voice made him jump a little in surprise.

He runs into the room, all soaked. His Zangoose had been using Rain Dance, but its area coverage was so pitifully small... probably around the size of two big umbrellas combined. He can't see much because of the smoke and can't see where Yosuke is.]

Is there anybody here?!

[Yosuke drops to his knees, thinking maybe he can avoid some of the smoke that way, since the debris is everywhere and there's not much he can do about it. Unable to really see, he chokes again, trying to hold back a gag and pulling the collar of his t-shirt over his nose and mouth.]

[Until he hears a voice, which he's... unsure of at first. It's definitely not Souji or Rise, though. Wait, he thinks he knows.]

D... Daisuke-kun?

Yosuke?! [He can't exactly pinpoint Yosuke's location and he grows a bit frustrated with each step he takes, trying to find him all the while. He gets another Pokeball and releases his Ditto, who turns into something that looks like a yo-yo, but with bright lights flashing like a police siren.]

I'm going to throw something out. If you see it, please tug on it so that I know where you are! [After extending all the strings he could out of the yo-yo, he tosses it at where he thought Yosuke's voice was coming from.]

[ Souji has made it fully up the stairs after he has retreated back down a few steps to catch his breath, but as soon as he gets up, he is once again bombard with heavy smoke that he's not ready for. Though along with that is noticing Yosuke suddenly there. ]

[ In his boxers no less, but after that initial one second shock-- because of all times Souji has gotten his first glance at Yosuke in his sleep ware like this, it's in the middle of a fire. Good job, Seta --a wave of concern falls upon Souji's face. ] Yosuke, where's Rise?! [ Because if he remembers correctly, Yosuke's room should be right next to Rise's. If Rise isn't there with him then... ]

[Yosuke can't see much - smoke and debris is burning his eyes, but he knows that voice; not just as Souji's, but this is as Leader. Serious, concerned.]

[Too bad he can't do anything to respond at first but choke on all the crap entering his lungs. But after a couple of minutes, between choked breaths--] She's not with you?!

[Panic. Oh my god, panic.]

[ A sense of panic arises in Souji, but he shoves it under just like the many times before. He pulls up on the hem of his shirt and brings it up to his nose. He motions for Yosuke to do the same or at least something to help in blocking a bit of all that smoke and debris out. ]

[ He coughs and tries to speak as calmly yet firm voice as possible, just like those many months ago; ] When was the last time you saw her?
