[Kinzo felt rather uncomfortable, given his circumstances. For whatever reason, both Gen and his still-unnamed Magikarp had been acting extremely unlike themselves. It had made traveling difficult, and to the point that he was almost considering catching the next thing he came across just for defense against the things he found - Gen and the Magikarp, while oddly strong in the situation, had proven unreliable.]
On the bright side... I believe Lion was going to meet me around here?
[Kinzo slows his walking, looking around. Really, the area looks all the same to him, but surely it had to be close.]

When all the transmissions about pokémon going crazy started hitting the network Lion pretty much panicked, knowing that both of Kinzo's pokémon were water types. Of course Kinzo would most likely do well anyway, but Lion still wanted to make sure.
Even knowing that, when seeing Kinzo at the distance Lion couldn't help a relieved sigh. Feeling that, the Houndoom ran a little faster to reach the goal (hard work always meant rewards, and boy did he like rewards).]

The pokémon stops a few meters away, and Lion hops from the Houndoom, patting the pokémon's head with some words of praise. Then Lion walks the small distance towards Kinzo, with the Houndoom following (all proud of his awesomeness).]

[Lion pets the Houndoom, who moves his (eeevil pointy) tail accepting the praise happily.] Seth could use a little rest. He has been traveling for days and he's a fire type so he's not really happy with this weather...
I have other pokémon we can ride, however, if you'd rather move fast.

Yes, I have a Skarmory too, he can't fly well when carrying people, but he has strong legs.
