Happy nerd time with Bakura

When: Sunday, 5/22, before most of the water pokemon started really losing their minds.
Summary: Bakura's Dratini egg has arrived! Time to walk around town with it and be a gleeful nerd about holy crap, dragon egg, coolest thing ever.

Every now and then Bakura though he had finally adjusted to this new world without going into a mental fanboy flail over holy crap, being in a RPG world. Then he'd discover something new, or something amazing would happen and he was back to his first day of wide eyed gleeful this is the BEST THING EVER.

Today was one of those days as he cradled an egg in his arms, his ghostly duo of Misdreavus and Drifloon floating behind him while his Sableye trotted at his side and his Hoppip cheerfully watched from his normal perch in his hair.

A dragon egg. Words could not describe how amazingly cool the fact that he was holding a dragon egg in his arms was. Heck, how amazing the entire situation was! Real ghosts and fantastic creatures as his companions, and a dragon egg.

So. COOL.

[[startles slightly, looking down with a blink.

Thankfully Gollum is right there and moves to block the attack before it can happen again. Have a silent stony glare from the Sableye, Piplup.]]

Bakura looks up, giving a small smile]] Aaa-- it's all right! [[he'd rub the back of his neck, but... egg. He can kinda sympathize since normally he has to chase after Amane causing trouble]]

You sure? [Whacking the Piplup, who then grumbles and squirms and attempts escape to attack Bakura again.] He's normally not this bad, I swear.

[[nods]] One of mine can be. [[looks over at Amane, who just cackles before going to nuzzle against him, almost as if to say 'You know you love me anyway,']] So really, it's all right.

Something bothering that one? [[nods over at the cranky Piplup with a touch of concern. Hoping that it's not just that it hates him.]]

Really? [He covers Piplup's eyes, making it try to remove his hand instead in his Piplup-y rage.]

Not sure. He's been acting up the whole day--- you haven't noticed anything strange?

Not with any of mine... [[a pause, pondering]] Someone at the pokecenter was having trouble, I think, but I didn't really pay much attention to it. [[says a bit apologetically]]

It's fine. [He looks thoughtful though.] I'd advice you to be careful though. Pokémon have been acting weird all daaaOUCH!!! [He hisses, glaring at the Piplup that just bit him.] You little punk!

[startles a but at the exclamation. Even Zoku never BIT him.]] Maybe it might be best to put him back in his ball if he's that upset...

[[and a brief look to his team, who all seem their normal selves. Huh]]

He broke it. [He sighs, a little exasperated as he recoils his now aching hand.] He destroyed it and ran off, and the rest of my pokémon are in the center right now recovering. [Kinda had a bad run-in and all.]

[[eyes wide]] They can break them? I though only wild ones could!

Apparently, he broke his pokéball and ran off, so I didn't get a chance to buy a new one first.

[...] You're better off being careful. The pokémon in the nearby waters haven't been very nice either.

[[shifts his egg to be in one arm before reaching into his bag for a spare to hold out]] Here.

And I will, thanks for the warning! [[He's been so head in clouds OMG dragon egg that he's not been keeping up with things]]

[Blink. Oh hey. He reaches for it, ignoring the pain that shot up from his bitten hand before using it on Piplup. The little penguin let out an indignant chirp before going in, making Ted sigh in relief.] Thanks. Hopefuly he doesn't try getting out again anytime soon.

[He then stares at the egg.] New egg?

Hopefully. [[a slight concerned look at that hand there before he's distracted by the question.]] Un! It just arrived! [[SO happy~]]

[Astina hops out of a bush right in front of Bakura. He looks like he is about to keep right on walking until he noticed the egg. Scenting the air he decided to sit and stare at Bakura... or was he staring at the egg... until his curiosity was satisfied. ]

[[pauses, giving a warm smile]] Hello, Astina. [[crouches down to be on level, egg still protectively in his arms. Annin gives a cheerful "Pip!" of a hello as well.]]

[Astina tilts his head before coming close enough to give the egg a better look. Big saucer eyes look up at Bakura as if asking what this is. He is a quiet Pokemon though so when Annin ‘pips’ at him he nods a greeting instead of saying anything. ]

[[aaa, so that was what he was interested in.]] I got a new egg today. It's going to hatch into a dragon! [[gleeeee~]]

It will take a while to hatch. ]

[[oblivious to what he's thinking, but somehow thinking the same thing]] It'll probably take a while to hatch, since most dragon eggs do in stories! And I can't imagine it being too much different. [[so much glee]] But that shouldn't be a problem. And you and everyone can help me take good care of it, ne?

[Satisfied for now, Astina turns to hop away, continuing what ever mission had pulled him away from Eagle.

Well… he had met a few bird Pokemon here and while his trainer was busy working… didn’t Eagle ever stop… he thought he would go and pal around in the trees with them. Of course he doesn’t explain any of this to anyone not that most would understand even if he did. ]
