Who: A tapir and two cars [Bakura, Eagle and Geo. And possibly Ororo if she came?]
Where: New Bark Town
When: Tuesday morning
Summary: Post event wake up and meet up. With a side of Bakura freaking the heck out
Rating: G/PG?
Log:
Bakura was sort of used to waking up and not quite knowing where he was. It hadn't happened at all since he arrived in Johto, which he was rather grateful for, which made it at first mostly a "aaa, again...." the anything else when he woke up someplace different than he went to sleep.
Until he realized just where he was.
New Bark town. They were still days away! How could--
A quick look to his pokegear froze him still.
Tuesday? How was-- but-- but it had been--
His friends. Where were-- and pokemon. Where was everyone, he had to--
A quick check his bag added more questions at first. When had he gotten a chess set? And were those wood carving tools? Both would have been pleasant surprises on their own but when mixed with the memory loss... new Monster World figures he couldn't recall making but that looked..
He shook his head, rummaging further. Where his--
Ah ha!
A moment later and all of his pokemon were accounted for (Zoku giving a screech before diving back into his ball and Amane firmly planting herself on his head, making her displeasure at being back in that ball known.)
He slowly got to his feet, cradling his egg in his arms like a security blanket, looking around for any sign of his friend.

It was even more distressing to learn that several days had been lost. Had Bakura been missing for that long… and he hadn’t looked for him?
After checking for his Pokemon all of whom seemed to be here and fine, but also confused about how they ended up here, he sent them out to look around New Barktown. This little city wasn’t very large and with so many looking to see if Bakura was here it would only be a matter of time before he was found.

“Bakura?” Such a relief! “Are you alright?”
no subject
Acting like nothing was wrong was a pretty standard way for him to deal with these sorts of situation since asking where he was and what was going on tended to get him funny looks or ignored.

Bakura and his Pokemon are all here and they do look healthy. Thankfully nothing happened to them in the, how long had it been…?
“I’m sorry I lost track of you for those three days. I am really not sure how that happened.”

That answers his unspoken question then, but he decided to go ahead and say it anyway, “That means you also don’t remember how you arrived here? Did you have any dreams?”
no subject
What he remembered dreaming hadn't been like any of those dreams. It was more like a fun house of memories, being lost on a deserted road, people appearing and disappearing, scenery that shifted between places... Like how the dreams his friends talked about were like. Strange in that they were seemingly normal. But abnormal for him.
He finally gave a small nod. "Last I remember was going to sleep after we'd been talking about constellations. And then a few dreams."
no subject
Dreams about … who else was it…? Geo and Bakura maybe? Well, those weren’t so strange. At least he knew the people involved. Still…
“You don’t know how to use a laser sword do you?”
no subject
Rawr! Typo!
Eagle glances at the back of his hand but it really wasn’t there anymore.
“Strange that the dreams seems so real…” Wait… “Jedi?”
Didn't even see it :)
"Aa-- Jedi are from Star Wars, it was a really cool sci fi series of movies! They're lawful good knights who use physic powers!"
HAH Good
“He… Older you, I don’t believe he said he was a Jedi but he did seem very on guard about something,” How strange really, “Maybe I turned you into a soldier some how.”
no subject
... then again, Eagle was helping to adjust the mental image he had of a soldier, previous a combination of a loud American stereotype and the uniform blandness of the toys he had had as a kid. (And still did in his closet, shhh)
He gave a small smile. "You think that sort of thing would even be possible, for someone like me?" Really, he was pretty hopeless. He wasn't even on time for things because he would get so distracted by his games.
no subject
“I don’t see why not. Not as long as it is something you decide to do. You would just have to try really hard and learn how to fight,” A big task for the gentle Bakura, but it was possible. Eagle would never tell someone to give up on their dream… if indeed that was a dream.
“I almost forgot to mention. Some how during all of this time loss I was able to find Geo.”
...they're like long lost siblings or something, aren't they :D
"Eh? You have? Aaa, that's great!"
If Eagle had a little brother. LOL, yes!
Smiles with the thought of that reaction.

At the camp
"Eagle?!"
"Eagle!?"
Stopping underneath a tree, he let out a deep sigh. Finally he noticed Astina up there. If Eagle's Pokemon was still here.... he should still be in the area. For now he debated whether to wait here or go looking.
[ooc: Gonna be a bit slow. I accidentally clogged my computer with things >///<. Cleaning it off now]
At the camp
Thankfully it isn’t too long before Eagle returns with a Bakura in tow. So, the decision to go looking or not is made for Geo.
“Hello, Geo!” He smiles warmly as he boldly walks back into the small camp area, “It looks like you woke up before I could get back.”

"Nice to meet you," He agreed,"I guess this means you're no longer lost." A welcoming smile drew across his lips. His first impressions of Bakura were positive. "There's no need for you to apologize," He glanced over at Eagle,"He's the one that's always causing trouble.."
Looking back to Bakura he decided proper introductions were in order. "I'm Geo Metro subcommander of the NSX." His eyes dropped to the egg, rather large by most standards. "What's that you're carrying?"
no subject
Most Commanders might reprimand a sub commander for being so disrespectful but Eagle laughs at the situation. Fully aware, and perhaps even proud of the fact, that he is a bit of a troublemaker.
Taking advantage of the distraction Bakura caused, Eagle slips into the campsite. There wasn’t going to be a lecture this time after all. How lucky!
He finds himself a nice spot near the remains of last night’s forgotten fire and allows his two friends to introduce themselves. He only interrupts long enough to say, “As a Pokemon breeder you should see a lot of those, Geo,” when the taller man notices the egg Bakura is carrying.

Tilting his head to one side, "A Dratini? All these new terms are going to take some getting used to." This time he drew out the pokegear to look it up. These devices certainly did come in handy.

“It is a three day journey back to Cherrygrove,” Spoken softly to little Carrera who had just bounced back up the trail and over to her trainer, “Do you think you are up to more traveling?”
“VUL!”
no subject
Gollum trundled over to Carrera with a smile and a slow wave.

Seeing the other two Pokemon out, he drew out a pokeball and decided to let Beretta (his Bulbasaur) out for a bit as well. She didn't seem to take well to other Pokemon initially but.... he hoped she'd warm up to them.
"So battles here are all based on type?" Might as well confirm that now.
no subject
Meanwhile Eagle, who had been paying his PokeGear a good deal more attention at that moment, suddenly perks up. Oh talk about battling with Pokemon…?
“Type, level, and the skill of the trainer, ” answered matter-of-factly. Eagle had after all been studying up on this subject a great deal while he was here. “It also helps if the Pokemon themselves enjoy battling.”
no subject
Annin, Bakura's hoppip, popped up out of Bakura's hair at the appearance of another grass type and gave an enthusiastic "Pip!" in greeting.
Bakura nodded at Eagle's addition. "I think the enthusiasm for battling is probably the more important part," he added with a small laugh. "I think Amane gets a bonus for how much she enjoys it, since she seems to roll better on her attacks than any of the others!"
no subject
Beretta had been startled by the other grass Pokemon's abrupt descent and immediately decided to lash it's vines at Annin.
"Hey now! None of that!" He swiftly raised an arm over the Hoppip to block the attack. Beretta's vines roped his arm and constricted before she had enough sense to cease her own attack. Clenching his teeth, he tried to ignore the pain as much as possible. "That's not how you're going to behave".
"Bulba, Bulba..." The Bulbasaur sounded a might bit frantic, never having expected it's master to act that way. Releasing it's hold, Beretta sheepishly withdrew her vines and lowered herself to the ground.... To sulk.
"Eh, sorry about that." Geo apologized on her behave. "She's been a little excitable."
no subject
[The Commander doesn’t hesitant to hurry to his friend’s side and take Geo’s injured arm in his hands to check it for any kind of injuries. It being just a whip lashing and a bit of a squeeze though, there is very little that can be done to make the injury feel better, so Eagle mostly ends up rubbing the injured area and clutching at the arm protectively.
Sol places himself between the Bulbasaur and Hoppip to see if his eating buddy is alright. You can’t share a bowl of Pokemon food with someone and not like them!
While Carrera trots over to Beretta to yelp, “Why did you do that!?” More from surprise than accusation.
Even normally calm Astina has a moment of utter shock… which only manifests itself as a surprised open mouth. ]

Gollum blinked at the Bulbasaur, head tilting slightly before taking a few steps forward, movements slow, one hand outstretched and upturned. An offering of calm communication, perhaps?
no subject
Beretta stuck her nose up into the air and looked away from Carrera and Gollum. What did they know, they were used to being around other captured Pokemon, she wasn't. Plus she knew she'd acted hastily and the whole scenario was kind of embarrassing. Imagine, getting reprimanded by my master with such a large audience. At least she was no longer on the offensive.

Carrera: [“If it was an accident you really should apologize for it! That is the nice thing to do.”
She pauses to tilt her head at the Bulbasaur before adding, “Don’t worry, if you are really sorry I am sure they will forgive you!”]
no subject
Gollum just continued to watch, a little curious, hand still outstretched.
no subject
Beretta: Carrera was always such a little busy body. Her perky nature was really grating right now. Bulba Bulb Bulbasaur! ["It should apologize for startling me!"] She huffed. Even if she knew she was in the wrong she didn't want to look like a pushover.
no subject
This Pokemon of Geo’s is carefully scrutinized. She did actually look pretty contrite… still grumpy… but also sort of remorseful if the way she hung her head really meant the same as is would if she were a human.
“I wonder why she is so jumpy.”
no subject
Annin gave a small "Piiip," that was still a little shaken, but other wise an attempt to reassure. "Am okay!"
"It was probably a big scare for them both," Bakura reasoned. "And she hurt someone by accident, that's never a nice feeling."
no subject
Nodding at Bakura's words,"Yeah, that's probably it." He found himself watching Gollum's actions closely, hoping there would not be a repeat performance.
Beretta: [Now everyone is staring at me], she thought to herself. This day was just getting better and better. She didn't try to pull away from Gollum when he placed a hand to her head, just pressed closer to the ground. [Just as long as it doesn't happen again] She was mildly aware of Annin's response.
no subject
Eagle points to each of his… which she has already had chance to meet or at least see them before. “Carrera, Sol, and,” Over there in the tree, watching everything from above, “Astina.”
no subject
Bakura nodded. "Annin," he nodded at the hoppip, "Gollum." He looked over to where his ghost duo was hovering. "Amane and Fuushi."
Lol Pokemon Role Call
Beretta wasn't sure what she'd expected Gollum to do but when she felt his hand remove the first time she braced in case an impact was to follow. Much to her surprise all he did was give her a few pats. She looked up inquisitively, then watched as the Pokemon were being introduced.
Sound off!
“There, now maybe that everyone knows who to look out for there won’t be any more surprises like that.”
He pauses to smile at the camp and then at the fellows standing with him.
“We should talk about packing up and heading back to Violet City. There is still a Gym Leader I have to go introduce myself to sometime.”
no subject
Bakura nodded. "I should still have enough supplies to keep us 'til Cherrygrove, since the stores here are a little lacking!" he smiled, going to check the food supplies in his bag, blinking a few times. "Still the same as it was last time we broke camp. Strange..." he mused, mostly to himself. "But lucky!" He paused blinking. "Did you get an extra tent or is Geo going to be sharing yours until Cherrygrove?"
