Summary: Happy American Independence! Also, it's Steve Roger's birthday, so, he's decided to have a little party.

[Having talked to the nurses on staff at the Pokémon Center, Steve set up a grill for the little party he wanted to host. He, of course, was wearing the most patriotic thing he owned - his Captain America costume. While, this was far from his favorite American holiday, it was also his birthday and he was very much in a mood to celebrate. He liked the idea of quietly celebrating even if no one knew it. It'd become habit, thanks to the time he'd spent on the Avengers. However, he'd made several new friends here and was enjoying the afternoon. The weather was perfect, so pulling out the grill something that could not and would not be avoided. This was perfect after all the time he'd been sick and cooped up inside.]
[Steve smiled, glancing up to see what his Pokémon were up to. Playing not too far from where Steve was, Sarah, Falcon and Thor were playing together. His Noctowl was asleep in a nearby tree, enjoying the gentle breeze and warm summer weather. Cap put the first few burgers and hot dogs on the grill. Seeing as no one had come by yet, he could always make more if he needed to.]

Oh, um, where I'm from, today's a big holiday, so I wanted to do a little bit of celebrating. Would you like one?

Sure. [Ed was starving. Free food for the win! He takes a hotdog and gazes at it a bit before biting into it. Not the best thing in the world, but not bad either.]
Is it tradition for people to dress like parade floats? [He's still looking you up and down, Steve. Al was less subtle than that, and he was a huge suit of armor.]

I worked for my country's government when I was originally issued it, but I work with a group of masked heroes no, protecting the rights and freedom of the people.

But, sometimes, you just have to make the best of a situation, even the ones you don't like.

The team I worked with generally did special-ops and such, targeting specific key individuals to the enemy's war effort.

Yes; he's always seemed to have a thing for electrical outlets and other sources of electricity; I'll probably have him evolve into a Jolteon.
