[Shiraishi was waiting for Fuji outside a restauraunt in Violet City. They had decided to go out for dinner here, even if the original plan had been a dinner in Goldenrod City. But since they had a chance now and might not have a chance later on... it was better this way.

Besides, Violet had had less restauraunts to choose from. Shiraishi had less trouble choosing where to go.

Shiraishi checked the clock. Five minutes till meeting time. Why had he showed up there so early? Well, maybe because he was a little anxious. Of what...? Spending time with Fuji? He had done that on route several times. Then again, it had been a while. Though, he still shouldn't have felt so odd.

Oh, well. At least he was on time. That was the thing that mattered.]

[so happens that Fuji arrives five minutes late, wearing white and beige with a feathered hat perched on his head jauntily. he waves as he approaches, hand lifting from his satchel in greeting.

["You're late" was the first thing that came to Shiraishi's mind. He decided not to say that though. It would have sound too odd.]

Ladies first? Too bad I didn't bring my heels today.

Oh, I've been practicing!

[he's feeling very goofy today, it seems. he'll just walk ahead of you on his tiptoes, legs crossing with each step, doing a marvelous impression of a lady in heels.]

This place had the best looking menu. A good selection of different kinds of dishes.

I looked at the menu. So it's an experience for both of us.

[It's not like he had time to try anything while being in Violet, so.

Shiraishi moves over to the counter though, to announce their arrival and get their table.]
