[After long hectic weeks on Route, it was about time that a break was in session for them. And what was better than a nice, simple lunch at a peaceful restaurant? Hearing good things about it, after he had run his errands, he had decided to take his friends there. Adventuring was rough, and when had they last had a proper meal at a proper table?]

[And now that they were seated around their table, Takuto was just simply browsing through the menu for anything that caught his eye. Finally finding the perfect order not too long later, he'll casually set it aside once he was done with it.] Are we ready to order yet?

Yeah, I think so. [Wako gave the menu another quick glance over to make sure she knew exactly what she wanted and put it on top of Takuto's once she was sure. It was nice not walking around and trying to catch Pokèmon for the moment and just spending a nice, relaxing meal with her boyfriends. And hopefully the good would be good - she's had her suspicions about some of the things on the menu (namely the meat) but that's probably not a good thing to focus on right now.]

[Sugata eyed the menu once more, and despite the ravings he heard from Takuto, who in turn heard from the townspeople, he decided against getting any form of steak that was on the menu. However-- he really was in the mood for something filling and something with a good protein. So... placing his menu on top of the others he nodded his head.]

I think so-- [he paused as he turned around to look for their waiter. Finally finding him he flicked his hand lazily in the air to call him over.]

I think we're all ready to order. [And with that he motioned for the others to go first.]

Just a shrimp salad and cabbage rolls for me, please! [She'll keep it light for now to save money.] And water to drink. [Looking over to Sugata to signal that it's his turn to order.]

I'll have the pork and rice dish. As for what I want to drink I'll take some water as well, thanks. [And with that he handed the waiter the menus. The waiter nodded, took the menus and headed off towards the kitchen.]

Ah, I'm fine with just that! I'm sure I'll be full after this meal, really. [Now she's blushing a little, she hadn't expected Takuto to say anything like that. It definitely takes all her will power not to call the waiter back and order more food, though.]

[MEANWHILE, WHILE YOU TWO ARE TALKING ABOUT YOUR LOVE OF FOOD SUGATA IS JUST... STARING AT THE DRINK THE WAITER PUTS IN FRONT OF HIM. HE MOST DEFINITELY DID NOT ORDER SODA. He pokes it gently with his index finger.]

I detest darkly colored carbonated drinks...

Why don't you just send it back, then? Or we could switch. I wouldn't mind.

I wonder why they brought you that instead of water. You'd think they'd remember since all three of us got the same drink. [The way he says it does make her laugh a little.]

[Sugata flushes slightly surprised that they were able to hear his whispered distaste. Sighing he looked from his soda to Takuto's water.] If you don't mind.... [And with that he pushes it forward.] And yes, I do find it hard to believe that they messed up something as simple as this...

I'm sure the food will make up for it! Hey, was salmon always this red?

I don't think it's supposed to be that color. [Looking down at her own food to make sure that it's the right color.] Maybe it's undercooked? Food that's not cooked all the way is usually pretty red, right?

[Sugata nodded.] That's usually the case, yes. If it's red then it hasn't been cooked properly. If you'd like you can have some of mine? My plate looks... somewhat fine.

It wouldn't be right if we were to make you wait until then, though. You could have some of mine. There should really be enough for the both of us. [Even Wako knows that she ordered more for herself than most people would eat by themselves and it looks... mostly edible.]
