Summary: After magically winding it up in Mahogany Town the digi destineds + Winry make their way back to Violet

[Needing to make sure all of his pokémon were up to the challenge of getting out of Mahogany Town he told the others to meet him by the weird town sign while he ran about making sure he had everything one would need for getting out of this town. He probably had just enough potions and super potions to last a life time.

But it was all worth it. Taichi-senpai was here now, and he wanted to do his best to impress his senpai. After waiting around a few more minutes, the nurse finally returned with his pokémon. Trying not to show how impatient he was he gave her a small smile, murmured a quiet thank you, and hi-tailed it out of the place. Well-- it worked up until then... And besides, he couldn't help it! They had a lot of road to cover! He couldn't waste any more of it. Thankfully he didn't have to run very far before running into the others.]

S-Sorry I took so long guys! The nurse took forever with my pokémon! But we should all be ready now.

[Miyako just shook her head. Of course, Daisuke was not very known for punctuality or sticking to schedules. But she didn't mind. It would be a fun adventure out and they'd get to meet up with Hikari's brother. So she was excited enough.

She spent the time poking about on her gear, checking the map to make sure they would be going the right way. It wouldn't do for them to get lost for a week.]

About time, Daisuke. So we're heading towards Cherrygrove, right?

[Hikari nodded, looking over to Miyako and Daisuke. Well, it wasn't like he was that late, after all.

Hikari just hoped that they were strong enough to actually manage to get through to Violet.]

Yeah. We have to get to Ecruteak and then Violet first though. It looks like it's a pretty long way. If only we could fly there...

[Daisuke sticks his tongue out at Miyako.]

Something like that, yeah. And I'm sorry. I never really thought to catching a flying pokémon-- but then it'd need to learn how to fly, right? And I don't know how to do that...

That's not too bad... We'll have some good points to stop and restock in. And... it's probably easier than trying to take the east route.

[But flying's a difficulty. None of them have a badge or the HM, do they? She sighs.]

It would be nice flying... It kind of sucks that we can't. But we might as well start walking.

[Hikari checked her belt, making sure Eevee was in his pokéball right now. Sure, he was her strongest pokémon, but he'd be just as likely to get them attacked by something that would completely defeat them rather than be of help if he were outside his ball all the time.

Alright. Let's get going.

[Daisuke grins as he readjusts his goggles.]

Alright guys! Keep your hands and feet out of the tall grass when necessary! [And with that he led the way-- up to the entrance to Mt. Motor and the little... lake thing.]

Huh... I wonder if your pokémon has to know swim if they're a water type... What do you guys think?

Well, they can probably swim, but I don't think they'd be able to swim with us weighing them down.

[That's just what it seems like to her. She glances around curiously.] You guys don't think we'll have to swim, do you?

[Hikari frowned, looking over at the water.]

Yeah, Piplup isn't going to be able to carry me.

[She moved, looking over at the trees.]

You think we'd be able to build a raft if we can knock a few of those trees down? It's either that or swimming.

[Daisuke rubs his chin thoughtfully.] Well-- maybe Noodle could? Maybe one of us could ride on his shoulders or something and he can swim across? I don't think we'd affect his swimming either, he's.... kinda tall.

Maybe... do you think it would work?

[Though she's kind of skeptic of the idea, it is easier than building a raft. She glances around. However, it's also an idea coming from Daisuke...] We have rope and stuff for a raft... we could probably make it.

[Hikari nodded.]

Okay, we can try that Daisuke.

Just... you go first, okay?

[Daisuke nods as he pulls out his pokéball. Releasing it he turns to his very tall Feraligatr.]

Say, Noodle? I know... you don't really know how to swim with one of us on you, but-- do you think you could really try to help us across today? I'll give you whatever you want afterwards! But-- we're in a real big bind and we need to get outta here...

[Noodle looks at the body of water to the group of kids and tilts his head to the side in consideration.]

You can take me first? And if it doesn't work out then-- uhmm... I could try to swim back?
