[ That awkward time where a man and a woman must have the talk. You know the one. About different worlds and the craziest of theories. Also probably the mention of why does Saber wear the same thing every day. The pair are off in their room together, Saber busying herself with re-organizing what few belongings she has to save space. Naturally, Gaenor the midget!Minun is crawling around on the floor between her legs, generally just pining for the girl's attention as she works. ]

[Squished between a Flareon and a Leafeon as he is, Merlin can do little more than sit on the floor and watch her reorganise. He absently feeds treats to Nineve, who gulps down the offerings contentedly, and brushes Brynna's fur, though the Flareon continuously erases his progress with her enthusiastic wriggling.]

So... [Having this discussion is something he'd been thinking about for the better part of two weeks. It's strange how he's unable to find a good way to start it despite all that.]

[ Her attention was caught easily as she turns around to face him, careful to not step on Gaenor. Looking towards people when they addressed her was a natural reaction out of respect, having raised herself proper. ]

[ Their tales and why they conflict. There must be something behind it as this Merlin is much younger than she recalls, among other things. So the great wizard-to-be has a theory, one she's sure she will not like to hear judging by how hesitant he is. ]

Have you...ever thought that there might be another version of yourself somewhere, in another world? [He gives up on the brushing and simply pulls Brynna into his lap, absently running his fingers through her soft fur.]

He figures he can do this much for her, at least.]

I'm surprised you didn't find clothes for yourself after all this time.

My current suit me just fine. It is just the set this realm's ... mother has granted me.

The last time I was in a realm like this, Rin provided me with clothing. Her older school uniform fit me just right, so I was able to use those. I do not have them here with me.

[ Seem appropriate? A tiny two-piece bathing suit is hardly clothing fit for a king, much less a petite girl. Cheeks flushing due to the conversation (perhaps a bit of it could be accounted to his guidance), she follows him with ease. ]
