Summary: Shiraishi and Kenya head over to Cherrygrove City to pickup their kohai. Reunion happens.

[It had been a long journey, even while flying. Not as long as it would have taken by walking, but still quite long. It would have been easier to meet in Violet City, but they had arranged it as Cherrygrove so... here they were.

The Tropius landed near the Pokémon Center. After a while Shiraishi got down and patted the Pokémon.]

Good job. Now you get to rest for a bit longer.

[Kenya dismounted the Tropius as gracefully as he could manage - flying was new to him, after all, and he'd ended up a little dizzy from the experience. He did a quick scan of the area. It'd been a while since he'd been in Cherrygrove.]

Finally, we're here.

[Zaizen was waiting impatiently near the Pokémon Center because you guys were taking forever...ok, technically it was less than a week, but that's beside the point. There's nothing to do in Cherrygrove and he was bored, which is somehow your fault.]

Shiraishi called Tropius back to its ball and approached the kohai.]

We needed to rest on the way.

[Kenya took this time to stand back and kind of smirk triumphantly at the successful locating of their kouhai. Shiraishi could do the hugs. It wasn't like he wanted to or anything.]

Yeah, give us a break. You'll get what it's like on the way back to... wherever we go back to.

I was planning we'd go back to Ecruteak City. I didn't challenge the gym yet and we'd continue on to Olivine after that... if that's okay with both of you.

Not yet. I probably should catch at least one, but I don't know what kind I want. Well, I want a ghost type, but I don't think there are any around here.

Hmm. We can make a stop at Violet City. The tower there has some Ghosts, or so I've heard.
