Where: The shore at Cianwood, a kitchen in Cianwood, quite possibly everywhere in Cianwood.
When: ... we timewarping here. September 4th, Early morning ~ evening.
Summary: An idol, a genius and a captain visit Cianwood for productivity of the Pokemon variety. Of course, there's a whole lot more than just gym battles packed into this one visit.
Rating: PG-13 for Fuji.
Log:
[So, three douches fly to an island.
But no, really--it's just that. Everything begins with a planned trip to Cianwood. A trip with one simple purpose: allow one Idol to face one Gym Leader and get that one badge. The participants? Rise, of course, and one Fuji Shuusuke. Somehow Tezuka had been dragged into it, too, but he wasn't quite sure how that happened.
Just like he wasn't quite sure how this happened: what started as a simple, non-turbulent flight suddenly turns complicated. Now, three douches are flying into an island, in a fabulous cushion of sand and disaster. Imagine this from a bystander point-of-view.
Calmness. Absolute calm.
And then a graceful crash, right into the beach. Three teenagers, piled one on top of the other. Tezuka had the distinct pleasure of being the one on the bottom of this bearpile, but that wasn't the point.
The point was that they had finally arrived where they were meant to be, minus the crash landing.
Well. It was certainly an eventful way to start the day.]

... L-let's not do that again, okay?
RISE - FUJI - TEZUKA
A second time sounds rather unlikely, yes.
Tezuka, still alive down there?
no subject
auuuugh my arm. tezuka doesn't grace fuji's question with an answer until everyone recovers from their flawless landing, and even then his response is nothing more than a nod of confirmation. well, his getting up is a good an answer as any, really--even if it's just the slightest bit shaky.a hand goes up to dust some sand off his shoulders.]
... We let our guard down. [seriously.]

not the arm--he chuckles a little, here, and reaches casually to brush sand off of the top of Tezuka's head.]On the bright side, it wasn't in the middle of the ocean.
no subject
if that ever happened, well. at least he can swim.]

FUJI - TEZUKA ;; BEACH
he reaches down to poke at the approaching tide with a finger, drawing a long line fixated amongst wet grains.]
no subject
he's wondering why they're here, just the slightest, but it's not on the forefront of his mind and he doesn't mind that much. it's more of a passing thought.]
no subject
the other is water tension. he watches the waves beat against the pebbles, and thinks that there's something fascinating about the way it ebbs and flows. even in silence, the tide pushes and pulls. he draws another line in the sand. then, seemingly dissatisfied with it, he erases it with his toes until there's nothing there but a wet smear.
he stands up, knowing the motion will catch Tezuka's attention -- it inevitably does. turning to Tezuka, he offers a smile.
the smile, it turns out, is smile #19. do you like the ocean, Tezuka?]
no subject
tezuka takes a fraction of a moment to analyze fuji's smile and intent, replying with just the slightest downward incline of his head. the ocean was nice, but he preferred the mountains over sand and rapids over waves. something about it didn't suit him. maybe he just needed things to climb.
he looks at fuji from the corner of his eye. and you?]
no subject
it's a lot easier to dislike it. he doesn't answer this in his returning smile (smile #23). rather, he chuckles.]
Hey, Tezuka?
no subject
but right now, there's other things. he returns fuji's vocal prodding with a spoken response. just to balance things out.]
What is it?
no subject
he spreads his arms.]
How wide, do you think, is the sea?
no subject
maybe really wide is appropriate. he looks to the water.]
