1 2 3 set, ready set go
Who: Link (
wieldswindwaker) & Ritsu (
trouser_chimp)
Where: Sprout Tower
When: Monday evening, after this thread
Summary: Ritsu wants to pay respects. Link wants to help.
Rating: G/PG
Log:
Link waited patiently outside the tower, watching the passing people with light interest. He had told a woman (had it been a woman? He wasn't completely sure. They hadn't even exchanged names, now that he thought about it) that he would meet her here so that they could enter together. The boy was more than happy to bring someone along, and considering that there were wild pokémon rumored to be in the structure—as well as ghosts—he thought it might be best if she didn't go alone. He was used to protecting people, and besides, it would probably be an interesting visit.

He stopped dead for a moment, turning to look her in the face. "You're fine," he said emphatically, with a sincere and friendly smile. "Please don't leave."

Looking around, Link discovered that the upper levels were much the same. Wooden flooring and structures, scattered wild pokémon...but the monks up here seemed more focused, and when one of them saw Link and Ritsu, he walked over with his face in a hard, set line. He seemed to want a battle.

"Mine will fight," Link offered, more than a little sure that Ritsu wouldn't be in any shape for a pokémon battle, although he hadn't yet guessed her lack of knowledge on trainer battles just yet.

"The water," Link said, hoping it would be as effective on the strange yellow plant as it had been on the creatures in the tall grass outside. His pokémon obliged and the battle began.
Not wanting Ritsu to feel upset or left out, Link turned around for a moment. "Have you battled another trainer?" he asked politely.
