a girl in a floppy hat and shades, with a map in one hand and a tune under her breath, she walks around in goldenrod without any direction. sightseeing? maybe. looking for someone? could be. lost? most likely. from the radio tower to the game center to the department store to the train station.

[Hibiki is in Goldenrod, too! Sure, she's only spoken to Sheryl once, but that's not going to stop her. Well, to be more accurate, it's not going to stop her Treecko, Kosuke, from running up to her. Kosuke is attracted to things of beauty, after all, and will be standing in Sheryl's path with sparkly eyes.

His trainer? Hibiki's a little red in the face and still carrying an egg around. She also has a letter in her other hand.]

[ truth be told, she's not entirely sure how to react to this. while she's used to people suddenly staring and then blocking her path all of a sudden (usually, it's easly dispersed by a smile, a wave and the security), it's a bit -- weirder when it's an animal. or in this case, a pokémon.

sheryl steps back a little then looks up, recognizing hibiki. yup, one of her "candidates". ]

Hibiki, right? Is this one yours? [ obviously referring to the treecko. ]
