And so it came to be that several paths converted into one once again. These men were used to fighting with the best weapons of the land and with the force of several thousand men behind them. And instead, when pulled to this world, they were given creatures to battle with. So it stands to reason that some of them were confused and possibly violent. (Or in some cases, desperately trying to compensate.)

It started as a peaceful Sunday for Violet City. The steady flux of trainers going in and out of the city, trading with its citizens, the cheerful chirping of Pokemon as they milled with their trainers was just some of the signs of a typical weekend day.

But soon enough, this city would play host to some of most heated and overflowing spirits of the warring states. And who knows how that was going to turn out.

[Finally.

A week of rain rain rain rain rain and they finally make it to the next town. Both Ieyasu and Mitsunari are waterlogged despite their best attempts to the contrary; traveling in rain will do that to you. But they are in Violet now and wandering Violet has brought them right into this conflict--not that Mitsunari has noticed.

In fact, he really hasn't noticed much of anything except--]

Mouri is grumbling about not being able to receive the sun's power and he may be just coming up to where Ieyasu and Mitsunari are.]

[ Being a cashier is suffering. He manly sat around all day looking at food and pokeballs. When his day finally ended, he's heading outside to meet up with Kojuro and to discuss their next move.

He hasn't spotted everyone else yet. But he'll be in front of the Center, yawning. ]

Kojuro seems uncertain if he approves of this new hobby of leekduck's.]

CAN NEVER HAVE JUST ONE FIGHT

[So Ieyasu is over at the side, Mitsunari having already dashed away and he's really not sure what to do. On one hand, Mitsunari's fury is justified.

On the other, he does not have a lot of faith that Mitsunari can win without his sword. But intervening would be an insult.

In the end, he's in the middle of some internal crisis and not being of much use to anyone.

[Motonari was watching the quarrel from the sides ever since it started - it is the quarrel of the One Eyed Dragon and Ishida after all. He has no right to get involved.

However there is someone who clearly should be involved because Ishida is their pawn. And he sees Ieyasu, just watching instead. This really annoys Motonari and he has some words to say.]

Hmph. Are you so weak that you cannot even bring yourself to control him?

For once, I think Mitsunari might be justified... though I don't see where you get the idea that he can be controlled in the first place.

[That's his way of saying that you're the responsible one. Mouri adjusts his hula hoop around his waist. He is not pleased and it is showing in his face.]

Ieyasu tenses a bit because that's a slight nerve there, Mouri. But he has to be the patient once here, even if he is being antagonized. So he'll ignore it again-]

[And he's also the only samurai not at all hindered by the confiscation of weapons. Keep that in mind.]

[Motonari Mouri does not care - he is the child of the sun and even if his powers have been blunted somewhat, he knows the same probably holds true for Ieyasu. Even if the odds are slightly against him. Besides, Motonari's already faced off Toyotomi and his navy.]

You say that and yet you seem to hold yourself as his retainer. Traveling together and even making sure he stays out of trouble. Why not now, Tokugawa?
