Who: [Bad username or site: flawlesspoison title= @ livejournal.com] and [Bad username or site: superrising title= @ livejournal.com]
Where: Olivine City
When: Backdated to the... 21st of November
Summary: Tennis training and pokémon shenanigans... Shiraishi's pokémon make it hard to train normally.
Rating: Safe for work~
Log:
[It was a... very cold day. Possibly four feet of snow even. You don't ask tennis boys why they train in this weather, you just don't.
So here they are, training indoors (You can't expect them to do it outside!), like a good pair of athletes, completely ignoring the flood of Piloswine and Mamoswine outside of the place, and the occasional Swinub looking in nosily. Seriously, Johto is so weird they don't want to question it anymore.
And where are they training?
... The lighthouse.
Why are they training there? Only they know. But either way, they're training in tennis in a lighthouse, surrounded by Ampharos and little Swinubs, and kept inside because of a large amount of snow and a bunch of pokémon that shouldn't be there. But hey, they're not complaining.
Not when Yuuta is too busy hitting a smash towards Shiraishi in the cramped space.]

At least in a situation like that, having no extra moves was useful. You used the space as much as you needed and no more than that. So returning that smash was actually quite easy.
Really, it felt like normal training.
... but why are two of Shiraishi's Pokémon out of their balls? Well, they usually do as they please, so he's not that bothered. At least they weren't in the way.]
no subject
Yuuta didn't let any of his pokemon out, not when it was already cramped enough as is.]
no subject
... only for the ball to go out as a lob this time, even if that wasn't the point. What?]
no subject
--- or well, was within reach. This time the ball just stopped outside of his range.]
... Huh?
no subject
Could this be Shiraishi's shocking new tennismove?!
... no, he looks just as surprised as Yuuta (and that wouldn't be possible anyway... then again, you never know).]
What...
[Wait a second. There were Pokémon out. Psychic Pokémon.
Shiraishi's surprised face turns to annoyed now.]
Koharu.
no subject
... Huh.]
Looks like we're not getting a normal match today. [Not that choosing the lighthouse had been normal in the first place.]
no subject
Ouw! [... okay, that does it.] We would have if I would have been wise enough to keep Koharu inside his ball. [And he takes the Kadabras ball out now.] Koharu return.
[Unfortunately he had forgotten about Yuuji... so there's also a Pokéball floating in the air.] Wha-- you've gotta be kidding me.
no subject
We're trying to train here.
no subject
Yuuji, stop that. [Reaching out for Yuuji's Pokéball is interrupted with dodging the tennisball, this time succesfully.] Koharu, you too.
no subject
Oh hell, that had hurt.] Why, you little... [Brb advancing on Yuuji here.]
no subject
Meanwhile Shiraishi gets a hold of Koharu's Pokéball due to Yuuji dropping it, but is still in the middle of dodging a tennisball.]
no subject
A little too well, given it's making it impossible for Yuuta to get near without tripping all over himself. He notices the tennis ball though, alarmed.]
Hey, stop that! Seriously, you guys...
no subject
Who tries to snatch the ball out of Shiraishi's hand, but luckily Shiraishi was prepared for that.]
No, Yuuji. [aaaand calls back Yuuji to his ball, too... and then collapse to sit down.]
Haaa....
no subject
Hey, you okay? Or do you wanna rest first?
no subject
[He pauses and smiles a little sheepishly.] Especially now that the troublemakers are away.
no subject
It's pretty weird training in the lighthouse though.
no subject
As long as we don't break anything it should be fine.
no subject
Your serve.
no subject
Alright. Here we go then. [And a serve is a go.]
no subject
no subject
Not that Shiraishi would notice anything wrong with concentrating on tennis.]

Yuuta-kun, calm down a little bit. [Being calm and having less unecessary movements went hand-in-hand after all.] It's alright to be passionate, but you have to remain your calm to succeed.
no subject
I am calm. [He points out, not quite whining, but there was a hint of it there.]
no subject
Then you should have no problems in taking it step by step. Try lessening the moves little by little, not too much at the time. [Ball come here.] Here I'll go again.
[Though the door opens just as the ball is in the air.]
no subject
Uh, Shiraishi? [They may be in trouble, especially with the mean look on that guy's face.]
no subject
Uh... we can explain this.
[To sign Yuuta to run or not to sign...]

We're sorry?
