just tilt my sun toward your domain ♫

Who: Arthur and any other Breeding Centre crew/frequent visitors!
Where: Around the Breeding Centre, basically anywhere. Your call!
When: Today, November 30, throughout the day!
Summary: Some of his housemates may have noticed that Arthur's acquired a new friend. A recently-hatched baby Smoochum from the Breeding Centre seems to have taken a shine to him, and she's been following him around for two days. D'awww.
Rating: PG, maybe for language?
Log:

Another six steps and a glance behind him. It's still there, no more than a foot and a half from his heels, gazing adoringly up at him with its head bobbing and those big blue-green eyes shining. Arthur frowns slightly and faces forward again. Far be it from him to understand why this thing has latched onto him, but trying to rid himself of it has proven basically impossible. He's even tried leaving it outside — it seems to enjoy the snow — and while that works for a bit, he always turns around to find a mop of blonde hair at his feet again an hour later.

The one thing he hasn't tried is battling it. It's just a baby, even Arthur can see that. He doesn't want to be cruel. He's not even sure if Gwen would oblige, or if she'd just feed the little thing some milk and be on her way. (Arthur's never met a more wayward cow.)

No wonder she needs a bit of attention, then; she's kinda latched onto you, dude.

[... God, baby pokemon are so cute. He's gonna happily lift her up then.]

I bet she thinks you're her mom or something.

[That gets a little laugh.]

Your problem friend, right? Everyone's got one.

Look; I could probably take'er off your hands if you need it.
I'm pretty good with little Pokemon like her.

[He shifts her in his arms a bit then - she's a little big for a baby Pokemon, after all - giving him a nod.]

I'll be able to keep a good eye on her.
'Course, if she's okay with coming with me.
She probably thinks you're her parent, like I said.
