A Christmas Party appears!
Who: OPEN to anyone in Goldenrod who would like to attend!
Where:
isthedeadcat's soon-to-be Tea House!
When: Forward dated to Christmas Day, around 5ish PM to QUESTION MARKS???
Summary: Hayate and Yayoi put together a party with the help of some friends, so it's time come enjoy it, Goldenrod!
Rating: PG as can be, hopefully!
Log:
It wasn't often that Hayate had a hand in preparing for a party outside of catering or cooking, so this was a whole new world for the butler... Which is why he was glad he had so much assistance from his wonderful friends! With Lion providing the locale, a whole slew of people helping him and Yayoi decorate... It was all looking pretty good! Which is why when the time came to start the party itself, he was rather relaxed.
... Now if only he could find a way to get rid that inflatable Santa someone had put up by the karaoke machine...
General mingling
Drifloon mistletoe
Good food ahead
Belt out karaoke
Gift exchanging

Big Luke, there you are!
no subject
Little Luke!
[He holds out a large gift-wrapped parcel that's almost guitar-shaped with a card attached to it, as well as a Poké Ball.]
Happy Christmas!
no subject
[His face brightens immediately. Big gifts mean good stuff, right?
Likewise, he'll hand off his own gift to Clive.]
This one's yours!
no subject
So, are you going to tell me what kind of Pokémon it is, or do I have to wait until it hatches?
no subject
It'd be no fun if I just told you what it was, so how about this? If you can solve this puzzle, I'll tell you what kind of Pokemon is inside.
no subject
All right, you're on.

“A basket contains 5 apples. How can you divide them among 5 children so that each one has an apple and one apple stays in the basket?”
no subject
You give four of the apples to four of the children, and the fifth child keeps the basket with the last apple still in it.
no subject
[His grin widens. Good to know his puzzle-solving skills weren't rusty in the future.]
It's an Eevee, by the way.

You look thrilled to be here!
no subject
[No really, he'd rather just go back to his room and cry...
But there's no time for that right now. Clive moves toward the shiny new bike behind him and pulls it forward, which is decorated with a nice red bow. In the basket is a gigantic bag of candy as well as an Ultra Ball.]
Happy Christmas!

...i-is that....for me?!

no subject
...you didn't have to get me all this, I...a bike and....is that candy..
no subject
I know, but I wanted to.
no subject
I....well, thank you very much, Luke! I'm...really grateful, I...
What's this? It's lovely, whatever it is!
no subject
Oh, there's a Pokémon in there.
no subject
...what?
no subject
[C'MON EMMY, THIS ISN'T ROCKET SCIENCE]
no subject
...Luke, you...you didn't have to do all this for me...

[ He tips his top hat as he comes closer. ] Merry Christmas, my boy.
no subject
Thank you, Professor.
[But before he opens them, he sets them aside so he can pick up a large, heavy, gift-wrapped box with a smaller box on top of it. There's also a nice Christmas card attached to the large box containing a Christmas-themed puzzle that is hopefully difficult enough to keep Layton busy for a while, and also attached to the box is a Poké Ball.]
And these are for you.
