[The dining table was all set with a wide range of food as well as the cake Clover had baked herself, the premises were clean...she had considered putting up streamers and banners and balloons but decided against them; besides, they were more trouble than they were worth and people would be less likely to believe that she was already nineteen years old. The house was fine as it was, and besides, this was going to be a simple lunch, with maybe a few games and a whole lot of talking.]

Clover is NOT (SHOCK!) wearing her usual pigtails today. Instead, her wavy pink hair is pulled back into a bun with hair sticks that match her earmuffs. She has also put on a simple magenta jacket with a fluffy carnation collar over a black lacy dress with a white sash. Her jewelry includes a four-leaf clover necklace and matching earrings. Pink leggings and black boots complete her look - and keep her warm.

She wonders if she overdressed for the occasion; she probably did, but oh well.]

[No need to feel overdressed when Chloe's never casual! Today, he's decided on a thick sweater a couple shades darker blue than his eyes, pleated dark brown slacks, and dress shoes in a similar shade. Christine's with him as well, trailing along close behind.

It's hard to miss what his present is, since he's holding a vase of blue hyacinths, red and pink carnations, and a couple ofjonquils.]

I'll set this down if you tell me an appropriate place for it.

[Clover's eyes are drawn to the flowers; they were beautiful indeed. Light, on the other hand, is more drawn to Christine and gives a wave while he accompanies his trainer.]

Wow, those are really pretty! [She appreciates them so much and looks like a kid who just unwrapped her heart's desire on Christmas Day, and she clasps her hands in excitement and gratefulness.] Thank you - wait, I'll go get a vase.

[She takes off all of a sudden, leaving Light with their newly arrived visitors.]

[He hopes she doesn't ask about the flower meanings, but if she does, he'll go ahead and explain anyway.]

I'm glad you like them. And you don't need a vase. They're in one.

[But since she runs off anyway, Christine follows her, clutching the Shiny Stone given that day at the mall. As soon as Clover notices her, Christine will properly use it and evolve into a nice Roserade.]

[Clover finds a vase, all right - a pink one. No surprise there. And that was fast; the cupboard was not too far from the living room, anyway. But as she heaves the vase out, she sees Christine.]

Oh - hey! I thought you were with Chloe and Light.

[While Miles still (jokingly) raises eyebrows at her choice of attire sometimes (those boots) he's very sincere when he compliments her!!! He has a nice gift bag that he'll be handing to her! It's a very nice red with white tissues and everything-- and inside is a cute set of clothes he had to ask a clerk to help him pick out.

[Excuse you guys, Clover is a decent cook, even though she's not quite a gourmet chef. The fare is rather simple - there are pasta dishes that she has tried with delicious results, finger food, sandwiches...etc. She also most likely got help whipping up everything.

She also made a fresh batch of chocolate cupcakes with strawberry icing, with various toppings - strawberries, sprinkles, chocolate syrup, chocolate chips...yup.

THE CAKE MATCHES. And it has nineteen strawberries just scattered on top.]
