Body movin', body movin'~
Who: Sheena Fujibayashi (
summonerbanshee ) and Doctor Franken Stein (
donteatmyliver )
Where: Violet City's Pokemon Center
When: Right after this.
Summary: Substituting a Vulpix for a drying machine/fireplace/open fire source. Lulz may ensue.
Rating: PG for shirtlessness? Heck, I have no clue.
Log:
Rain, rain, and yet MORE RAIN.
Now, Sheena liked thunderstorms and a good downpour just as much as the next person, but even she knew when enough was enough. Just the briefest exposure to the elements had soaked her through to the skin, and it took ages to dry off afterwards. Corrine hadn't been happy when she bundled him up in her spare clothing like a cocoon in preparation for a short sprint across the road to the Pokemon Center.
"This would've been easier if I could still invoke Undine's pact." Sheena muttered to herself, tucking a fuming Corrine in her arms and close to her chest in order to shield him from the rain. "I would've just banished all this stupid... water somewhere else. Like on Zelos' mansion." Because as everyone was aware of, there was nothing the redhead despised more than having his luxurious red hair and designer outfit wet on. Boo-freaking-hoo.
Besides, watching him being drenched by a localized hurricane would've, frankly, been hilarious.
One, two, three steps and she launched herself into the world of dreary grey and blue colour, hurtling like a purple warhorse over the pavement and grass. Unfortunately she neglected to notice a slight incline during the last few feet and ended up diving the last meter or so. Lucky for her the Center's doors were automatic, and smoothly hissed open before the ninja could smack facefirst into the glass.
As it were, she was still rather unhappy to be a big pile of wet clothing sprawled on her side with a positively furious Vulpix making angry squeals while he wriggled in a rapidly loosening bundle of her extra gear.
Oh, the things she did to be a good guy. Sometimes it honestly just wasn't worth all the trouble.

"Why were you looking for a group, anyway? You seem to be doing just fine on your own." The scientist was certainly enjoying the solitude - or relative solitude, considering he did technically have a traveling companion. It seemed to him that he hadn't been able to be alone in quite some time and he sort of missed it.

Apparently the laundry comment wasn't going to go unpunished after all, if her suddenly tossing the labcoat over Stein's head was any indication. With a satisfied smirk of her own, Fujibayashi knelt down to help Corrine wobble somewhat unsteadily over to her prior to settling him over her shoulders in his usual position.
"Normally I'd charge for drying duty, but I'll let this one slide."

He could understand Sheena's need for conversation more than he cared to admit. After getting used to Spirit's near-constant talking, he liked a little bit of background noise when wandering around, usually. "And I've gotten used to being alone. To each his own," Stein commented with a wry smirk.
