Where: Route 29, not far outside of New Bark Town
When: Afternoon
Summary: Asuka, getting barely any information, decides she's going to go figure out things on her own. At least she read the manual!
Rating: Uh, maybe PG-13 for her mouth.

Asuka calmed down significantly from her bad mood after arriving to New Bark Town, but she still had a scowl on her face that might make people afraid to approach her. She gave up on being angry at her Ponyta, who she'd decided to call Blitz, so at least she had him for company.
"I'm telling you, this doesn't make any sense! All the people around here seem like they're crazy! How can you just be ok with not having any idea what's going on? There's got to be something to figure out!" Blitz, happy clopping by her side, nodded his head and replied with a Pony! Asuka nodded. "At least you get it, I guess. That's something. Even though you aren't bothered, you do live here." Hell, she was talking to an animal... maybe she was crazy too. But at least she was trying to find a solution for something!
"I want to try earning badges. I know I can fight! You'd better work hard too, I'm not going to let you slack off!" The Ponyta nodded, hopping enthusiastically, and snorted. Asuka couldn't help but smile a little bit. It was nice that this... Pokemon... had some fighting spirit.
She peered along the road, looking for someone (or something) to battle.
