When he first arrives Takato is a little hesitant about joining in. These were kids with digimon partners, but he didn't really know any of them very well yet. Not like he knew the other Tamer.

And so he finds a seat by the side of the pool and watches for a moment.

As soon as he saw Takato standing beside the pool he made a b-line for the young tamer. "Heeeey! Have you been here long?" He gives a small wave.

[dreamtamer]

He shakes his head. "No, not long. I just got here."

[noodlegoggles]

He smiles. "Well that's good." He pauses as he sets his things down to the side. "So, how are you doing?"

[dreamtamer]

"Okay, I think?" He hesitates. "Do you need any help?"

Hikari smiled as she lay on a towel by the edge of the pool, just laying back as Prinpulp lay on his stomach, letting out a rather happy trill as the two of them soaked up some sunlight.

Hope you don't mind some shadow interfering into your sunlight! Daisuke bends over and puts his hands on his knees. "Hey Hikari-chan!"

Hikari opens her eyes as she feels that shadow over her, but smiles when she realizes who it is. "Hi Daisuke-kun."

She sat up, turning around to look up at him. "What's up?"

He grins a little as he stands up some. "Oh, I was just wondering if you needed some suntan lotion."

[chosen_light_child]

Hikari blinked, looking over at him. "Umm... I think I'm alright," she said, blushing a bit. Or quite a lot, actually. "Thanks for asking though."

[empireofmymind]

Ken's let Surskit out of her PokéBall, upon reading in his Pokédex that she is actually capable of walking on water. Sure enough, she's skimming across the pool (and looking quite pleased about it, too), while Ken looks on to make sure she's all right.

Daisuke dropped the ball he had been playing with as he watched the Surskit in fascination. "W-Waoh! Dude, is... is that... walking on water?"

[empireofmymind]

"Ah, almost." Ken held up the Pokédex (yes, he was studying at your pool party, sorry). "It says here their feet create an oil. Since oil and water don't mix...."

Surskit, sensing attention, skittered about a bit, then decided to attempt figure skating. She wasn't half bad.

JEEZ KEN, YOU ARE SUCH A DORK. But he'll let it slide, since it's you. His mouth drops a little as he stares at the pokémon. "Woooah. That's kinda cool." He pauses as he points. "Ah, hey look! It's tryin' to skate."

[empireofmymind]

"Is it?" Ken watched, at first surprised, then looking rather proud. So Pokémon had interests too....and it was good to see Surskit feeling comfortable, as she'd been the most hesitant member of his team.

Sliding his own bare feet into the water, Ken kicked at the surface slightly - not enough to disturb his Pokémon. This was his first pool party, and so far he considered them pretty relaxing affairs.

[There is nothing keeping Miyako out of the pool. It took her a while to figure out how she looked - all self-conscious and whatnot, she figured she could just focus on doing something cute with her hair. After a good fifteen minutes of playing with it, she just pulled it in a ponytail, decided it would be a mess anyway, and just went with it.

Then, as a grand entrance, she decided to cannonball into the pool.]

[He moves with the waves of the water.]

Ehhh, I give it a five.

[digital_bingo]

Only a five? [She splashes the water at him.] That was at least a seven.

He throws his arms up slightly and pulls down his goggles. "Nah, that one was at least a five in a half."

[digital_bingo]

Seven! [She splashes again before just swimming off.]

[With his Poliwhirl out of his pokeball and swimming alongside him in the pool, Takeru's also enjoying - not only the sun - but his friends' company as well. The blonde's only in his green swimming shorts as he tries to out-swim his own pokemon. He's unsuccessful, though. Still, he has a smile on his face when he stops, panting to catch his breath. Maybe he'll stop for now and meet with his friends so he can let Poliwhirl enjoy the cool water.]

[he's swimmannn and swimmmaaan and-- oops, he totally bumps into you from behind.]

Oh sorry-- [oh... awkward.]

[hopeboy]

[The awkward doesn't even register to Takeru. He just smiles wide at his friend as he turns around.]

Oh, hey, Daisuke-kun!

[noodlegoggles]

Hey dude.... [he nods and quickly ducks his head. OKAY DUDE, YOU CAN DO THIS. HE'S NOT... HE'S NOT GONNA BITE YOU--] I-- we need to talk.
