Summary: Yuuji and Shouko are reunited at last in Cherrygrove. Definitely not as romantic as you think it is.

Log: [Navigating around Cherrygrove was definitely easier the second time around than the first. But then again, he did spend quite a lot of time here-- so it could also be that. But whatever. His trek was pretty consistent anyways, not that he had to worry too much about Shouko. She could take care of her own.

As soon as he got in to town he shot her a text. She should have gotten to Cherrygrove first, unless something happened. But she would have made it a point to inform him, so there was no need to worry.

Looking around some he decided that it'd be best to just chill and wait for her to get back to him inside the center. It was warmer in there anyways.]

[She had just been out for a quick shop herself, when she noticed her pokegear buzzing off. It's not like she needed to open the device, it was pretty clear to see where the easiest point of meetup was.

She walked into the Pokemon Center, as confident as ever. Her heart raced. Yuuji was actually here! She was excited, and happy, and a whole bunch of feelings. However first things came first. She had to make sure that this worked-

See this Pichu? Well, there were probably a bunch of unfortunate Pidgey on the route, because it looked like it knew what it was doing. A straight lunge at Yuuji, electric capabilities and all.]

[yep, he isss totally minding his own business. and getting a drink for himself (and maybe shouko, if she's lucky!!!) also, is that pichu inside the center?? :Ia]

[memorizer]

[Why yes, the pichu was walking along side her. Well, until it saw Yuuji. Machu just loved meeting new people! So he ran over to Yuuji, pulling at his pant leg. His trainer was standing behind him.]

Yuuji.

[A smile. Sweet and cute. She had been waiting for a while.]

[strategizer]

[he turns around and looks down at the Pichu. As he reaches down to pick him up he fails to notice someone standing in front of him.]

Oh hey there are you lost?-- [he looks up and instantly falls backward. welp, that was graceful!] J-Jeez Shouko! Warn someone the next time you do that!

[memorizer]

[She's so happy she could leap into his arms! Except that won't be happening any time soon. So just have her standing there.]

Yuuji.

[She looks over to the pokemon that's standing right beside him. She smiles.]

I see you met Machu.

[strategizer]

[oh god, good. please don't jump on hiiim, he can't take itttt.]

Oh... he's yours?

[memorizer]

Yes. Even with his small size he's quite formidable in battle. Want to see?

[strategizer]

[a really really bad feeling suddenly washes over him. he pales slightly and shakes his head.]

Nah, I think I'm good.

[memorizer]

[You don't get the choice. She snapped her fingers.

The energetic little creature, standing right next to the teenager, released it's (very well practiced) thundershock attack on him!]

[oh shit, oh shit wait- no, no no no no-- he waves his hands frantically as he watches the pichu. but before he can do anything about it heee get's zapped. he falls over and dies momentarily passes out.]

[memorizer]

[Ah, things are just the same. It seemed to be as effective as she hoped, now all she would have to do is wait for him to wake up. She finds a chair nearby and crosses her legs. Perhaps she was too intimidating, because nobody was questioning the behavior.]

[strategizer]

[glurg glurg glub. yep. give him a few more minutes.]

[memorizer]

[She went and grabbed some tea. The attack may have been a tad more potent than she thought. Just imagine all the unfortunate pidgeys lying on the side of the road...]

[strategizer]

[he groans slightly and twitches.]

[memorizer]

Yuuji, are you awake?

[Or she'll just continue to sit here. She doesn't have any other plans.]

[strategizer]

[slowly... awakens...] nnn-- what the crap Shouko? [he groans] that coulda killed me.

[memorizer]

I'm positive our captors would never allow such to happen.

[She takes a sip of her tea.]

I haven't heard of one pokemon related injury since I've arrived.

[strategizer]

Yeah, just 'cause you haven't heard of any doesn't mean I wanna be the lucky guy who tests it out.

[memorizer]

[quick subject change a-go! She knows that as long as Machu doesn't go 100%; Yuuji will be fine.]

Shall we get to travelling? I heard that there was a gym in Violet city, I'd like to test it out.

[strategizer]

Jeez, you don't miss a beat. Yeah. We can head out tomorrow. I wanna make sure that we stock up on some things before we head out though.

[memorizer]

We should go to the pokemart then, then stay the night here.

[It seems that the adventure is getting to her. She's actually really excited, especially since she gets to spend a lot of it with you.

So she'll start walking to the door of the pokecenter, you better start following!!!]

Yeah... [just before he follows suit, he pauses and stares.] Uh, you're getting your own room, right?
