Who: Flora Reinhold [[personal profile] icansolvethemtoo], Professor Layton [[personal profile] puzzling], Luke Triton [[personal profile] hintcoinplz]
Where: New Bark Town
When: a few days after Flora's arrival
Summary: The Professor and Luke head off to fetch lost little Flora from her bitey thing.
Rating: G?
Log:

By day three, Flora had gotten used to this rugged, uncomfortable method of camping. Her first night here, Flora had been positively miserable, seeing as she could only take so many days outdoors. But thankfully the weather was mild, and with a lack of storms or snow or rain, she knew it could have been worse. Her main concern had been the bugs. Giant green spiders, hopping pink things, strange things she wasn't even sure what they were... They were enough to have her wide awake through most of the first night, to the point where she fell asleep clutching her gear sometime during the next afternoon.

Surely, the safest place was just her sleeping bag. The other 'Professor' didn't seem to be in anytime she knocked, and the 'mother' wouldn't open her doors again. The other neighbors just insisted that she start her 'journey'. Really, Flora didn't want any sort of journey. She missed her bed, her quaint little bedroom, cooking in the Professor's kitchen--goodness, she missed proper food altogether! This small snack pack and water only went so far. She just had to wait, and she was more than able to do that, while curled up in the sleeping bag.

With her backpack as a pillow, and knowing that nothing would crawl into the material with her, Flora had found her nice spot of comfortable safety. Although she wished Layton could just teleport over, she felt a little calmer here. Calmer... and distracted. Poking around at the Gear the night before had introduced her mind to the Kanto Discovery Trail, and since then, it provided the best game to occupy her time. After all: her camping trip could have been worse. She could have killed all of her animals, her family. They could have gotten sick and died of some old illness. They could have been eaten by wild bears--well, technically she could be as well, but she doubted they even had bears in this odd monster place. But it was alright. The game itself was enough to keep her more than occupied as she waited.

[Shortly after Luke and Layton arrive, it was a matter of finding Flora. Luke had no idea where she could be, so instead of doing the calm thing and checking the surrounding area or checking the Pokegear, he'll immediately dash forward and start calling for her.]

Flora? Flora, where are you?!
puzzling: (nothing so far)

[ Fortunately, Layton has gotten the Fly HM a while ago and has the proper badge to go with it. So, it doesn't take him too long to reach Flora, just a few days. It's a lot better than walking for a month just to reach her and he's quite worried about leaving Flora on her own, so he makes sure to rush as quickly as possible there. Now that he's in New Bark Town, all he needs to do is find his adopted daughter and hopefully, completely unharmed. ]

[ He follows Luke behind, walking slowly and looking around. ]

Now Luke, it might be best to call her on the Pokegear. It will definitely make our search easier.

[ So Layton gets to pulling out his gear and texting a message to Flora to meet them at the entrance. Floraaaa, where are youuuu. ]
