[Anywhere in Johto, there are people interacting. Some of these strangers interacting with other strangers. In short, this is The Ultimate Mingling post, where everyone can run into each other. Primarily for those in the fourth wall who run into another oddball from some other mythical land who's going "What's this place?" just like them, but for everyone who wants to just continue going nuts.

And yes, please, go nuts.]

I wasn't around for it, personally, but apparently some lunatic in a mask used radio signals and specially constructed masks to hypnotize the entire team and take over while I was off training.

That is...unfortunate. But if you could ssssalvage the technology and turn it against the trainers, you'd have an army of hypnotized zombies!

By the way, what ssssort of enemies oppose Team Rocket in your Johto? Do you have a bunch of morons sssswearing to stop you at every turn too?

I wouldn't call them 'morons,' really. They're actually very competent, given that they actually succeeded a few times.

Opposition here does exist, but it's limited and rather ineffective. The local police are incredibly incompetent, so the majority of it comes from people pulled from other worlds. If you aren't pulled back to your world ssssoon, I imagine you'll be able to leave quite an impact on thissss Johto.

The police being incredibly ineffective is something I'm used to, though... people pulled from other worlds? That's new.

That's how thissss Johto works. It pulls in people from different worlds and either drafts them into Team Rocket, which is currently under the control of the native Johto citizens, or dumps them in New Bark Town where the ordinary trainers sssstart out.

[He's a little confused here. The idea of multiple Johtos isn't that strange considering all the various worlds people here come from, but he still assumed they all had the same set of rules, more or less.]

I see... that's very interesting, then. I suppose there are more practical ways to attract new blood, but this is more exciting.

And no, it isn't-although that might explain why I'm here.

Of course, the downssside is that the turnover rate is ridiculously high. We've lost more Grunts than I can count in the two years I've been here.

If I may make a ssssuggestion? Do as much as you can while you're here.

This place has a habit of removing people at random, so you never know how much time you have left.

That's... fairly disappointing. Though, it's somewhat reassuring that I'm not going to be removed from my original version of reality for too long, I suppose... still, I'm going to have to take you up on your suggestion.
