What kind of hero exactly is he...? I can't imagine this type of suit coming in very... handy... in most cases.

Something like that. It allows people to do some freak of nature things in my world. Like shattering giant statues with one punch, moving the ground below you so you can suddenly elevate yourself higher, and creating massive balls of fire with one snap of the finger.

Perhaps it could be of help for your goals.

It doesn't seem to work here, but there are a few alchemists here who could give you lessons on the basic understanding. Which may be all you need, really!

Roy Mustang and Alex Armstrong. Armstrong should be somewhere near Goldenrod, I believe. And Mustang somewhere near Saffron!
