*It wasn't a rare sight to see Hayate going out shopping with Yayoi. In fact it was about as common as stumbling across a Pidgey in the wild at this point. Only in their case, it was more a random encounter than resulting in them actually catching-- or buying anything, as it were. Still, walking into a department store is always a daunting task. Especially when you're as big a penny pincher as either of these two.*

. . . every single time I come here... Or even into the one back in Goldenrod... I feel like I'm walking into enemy territory... Just knowing there are super expensive products lurking around every corner fills me with a sense of dread... Haaaaa... Please don't make a TV fall on me...

Come on, Yayoi-- the shop we want is up on the second floor on the far end. It shouldn't take that long to get up there.

*Well, that's what the butler was hoping, at least.*

[ WHEN SUDDENLY...
A new challenger approaches! ]

Hey! [ Miki recognized her voice from just a couple yards away as she makes her way over to the duo, waving her hands to catch their attention. Just in case they missed her shout. ] Miki didn't think anyone would come shopping today!

A straight line, huh? That sounds like a safe bet to avoid being jumped, but who knows what might be between point A and point--

*Oh-- speaking of points, Hayate looks slightly startled at sudden calling out before glancing over toward Miki.*

--wha... Hoshii-san? I can't say I'm surprised to see you in a place full of shops, but it's definitely a surprise to see you here right now...

Ah!! Miki-san!

[ Yayoi's off like a shot, barreling over to the other idol and giving her a HUGE hug like she hasn't seen the other girl in months! ]

Uu-uuu~! I didn't even know you'd be here! When did you- ah, of COURSE we'd go shopping today!

[ Good thing Miki works out and can maintain her balance in a tacklehug! There's a bit of stumbling as she tries to keep her feet flat. ]

But there's very few sales going on. [ Which is why she thought no one would be here. Miki, on the other hand, does not shop cheap. ] Did you come to buy new clothes?!

*Aw, lookit Yayoi go. Hayate is letting out a soft chuckle watching her bolt off to hug her like that, before he calmly trails after her.*

We're here to shop for supplies for the road, actually! *And he glances to Yayoi curiously, since Miki said the "S" word.* Though we might make a stop or two on the way to that store, depending.

New clothes!? But my old ones aren't worn out ye- ah!

[ Yayoi nods, echoing Hayate. ] Yeah, we're going supplies-shopping! And if there ARE any sales... we'll definitely find them! How about you, Miki-san?

Wha? Miki thinks if you bought more clothing, then your old ones would take less time to wear out. [ See, there's logic to be had here. ] Supplies shopping though? Miki thinks that's boring.

[ Which means it's time to rescue Yayoi from this horrendous fate thrust upon her. ]

Let's go look at all the new clothes instead.

Mm! I know Yayoi couldn't resist a sale if we saw one, so I wouldn't stop her from--

--wait, new clothes?! I-Isn't that usually where the terror of pricing begins?! The last time I tried to buy clothes that were the "latest fashion" for a girl I had to retreat immediately...

I... I guess if it's just looking though... If Yayoi wants to go...

Ah... I see! Is that why Iori-chan has so many clothes, too??

[ YUP, Miki-logic is enough to convince her ] Okay! Just- as long as we save time to buy supplies!

[ Hayate has little choice; Miki's great at convincing people to do things her way and besides, he gets to potentially see the two girls dress up. It'll be cute and worth his while! ]

Buying supplies is so boring though. [ She could fall asleep just thinking about it. ] Come on, Miki wants to check out everything!

*o-oh, this direction...*

Mmm... Okay, okay... I will leave our direction in this hour to the clearly knowledgeable Hoshii-san. Just please spare me having to walk into a shop full of underwear.

Eheheh~... Miki-san, I'll leave it up to you too! Let's go!

[ And with a little hop-skip, Yayoi takes Miki's hand and REALLY starts hustling. It's been a LONG time since she got to spend time like this with any of her friends from home, so she is just SO ECSTATIC that she's glowing like the sun! ]

[ YAY GIRL TIME... and Hayate time too. Miki will stop to consider him for a moment. ]

Miki doesn't need to shop for that kind of stuff. MOM packed plenty! It's summer time, so let's make a few summer outfits!

Ahaha... I'm afraid I don't really know much about summer outfits aside from the whole white dress and hat combo, so unless that's what you'd be looking for I'll have to stick to commentary...

- ah! Hayate, it'll be okay! I'm sure your commentary will definitely help! [ turning to Miki! ] He has really good fashion sense, you know! And he looks good in a lot of outfits!

Does he? [ Beaming happily. ] Miki wants to see!

Hayate, you'll dress up too! It wouldn't be much fun if it was just the two of us alone!

--eh? Y-Yayoi, I think that's a exaggeration on a rather-- *wait, what? SUDDEN TERROR SETTING IN* --EH?!

I-- I will?! I... um... I-I'm not sure that's that good an idea... I-I wouldn't want to clash against the two cute idols trying things on with my poor look-!

[ Matching Miki smile for smile- and leaning in towards Hayate. NO ESCAPING FROM THIS ONE ]

There won't be any clashing at all! Hayate, you HAVE to show Miki-san what you can do! Like that one time you fought at the grass-type gym in a skirt, with bare shoulders and everything...!

[ The squeal that comes from Miki's lips can't be human. ]

In a skirt?! Hee, now Miki has to see! [ Leaning in with her hands. ] Come on, come on! Miki will find the right colors to accentuate your hair and everything!

--EH?! Y-Yayoi, why would you even mention-- I-- ah-- I think I might... I-I think I can hear the cries of some poor Pokemon in need, so, ah... Y-You can go match colors with Yayoi who is much more suitable to such a thing than I am so--

*TAKING ONE DRAMATIC STEP BACK before he attempts to actually run from this...*

Isn't that great, Hayate!? You're going to get a coordinator! And Miki-san's really good at- ah!

[ And Yayoi's just going to lunge for Hayate's arm, wrapping her own arms around it to keep him from fleeing assuming he doesn't just haul her bodily away too ] Uu-uuu~! You're not going anywhere!

[ And if he was thinking of dragging Yayoi off?
No good, because Miki's going to grab onto her shoulder to try to lead the pair back towards another section of the store. ]

No, we have to go this way first! [ A nod. ] Miki saw a really cute skirt with a matching belt just this way...

[ This suddenly turned from a shopping trip for herself to a potential modeling show for Hayate! ]

*s c r e a m you cannot hear how loudly the pitch is inside his skull right now as he is slowly dragged along in some kind of idol chain, looking more and more horrified as they go further toward the back of the store.*

--aaaaa--! W-Wait just a second, I haven't-- Wait, isn't this the part of the store no boy should ever be allowed into without him being labeled a pervert?!
