Tanabata☆Celebration

WHO: Refer to tags
WHERE: Both Breeding Centers in Goldenrod City and Celadon City
WHEN: July 7th (forward-dated)
SUMMARY: Both buildings are decked out for a certain holiday. OOC information provided here.
RATING: PG (will change when necessary)
LOG:

[ Thanks to the help of so many others, both buildings in Goldenrod City and Celadon City were decorated in the colors of white, yellow, and teal. There's plenty of food available for trainer and Pokémon alike. With areas designated for mingling and for writing down wishes, it's not much of a celebration until the sun sets. When it does, the sky lights up with various fireworks. Once the excitement has died down, there will be a bonfire to burn the written wishes with, burning brightly until dawn. Who knows what else is going on? Perhaps someone will bring additional excitement to the party~ ]

Due to the nature of this log, it's going to be fairly open, so please feel free to make your own sub-threads. Just please comment under the appropriate city since both are celebrating it.

Well...yeah! I mean it's not mandatory or anything but where I come from that's typically what we do. You get a cake on your birthday with a bunch of candles on it, and if you can blow all the candles out in one breath, your wish is supposed to come true.

Uhh...well nothing really. I mean there's no consequence other than your wish not coming true. Which, to be honest, doesn't happen most of the time even if you do manage to blow out all the candles. [At least it never did for him. Maybe he was just wishing for something too hard for mere candles and cake spirits to grant.]
ghostytrainer: (well you see i made myself in a lab.)

For the most part, yes. I have never once had my wish come true, even the more simple ones. It's just...I don't know. Tradition, I guess? Even if nothing actually happens.
